Thoughts of the Paper View Live Event, AEW WrestleDream in Seattle, Washington:

Thoughts: This was a solid event all around with no bad matches whatsoever. I thought every single match was either decent, good, or amazing. There were many returns I was happy about especially the return of Adam Cole. I thought the Triple Threat Match was the Match of the Night. But the moment of the night is the after match chaos that ensued with Jon Moxley, and others beating down Bryan Danielson and cracking his neck. But overall great event from top to bottom. I think this Wednesday Dynamite is gonna be very interesting to say the least. But overall great show.

AEW Paper View Live Event, AEW WrestleDream in Seattle, Washington Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Jay White vs. “Hangman” Adam Page - Match Rating: ****.50 -This was a fantastic opener for WrestleDream. Jay White probably had his best singles match to date in AEW with this victory over Adam "Hangman" Page. The ending sequence was so awesome as Adam Page was getting ready for a buckshot lariat Jay White caught him into a Bladerunner to get the much needed victory. This was a huge win and a great reestablishment for Jay White as before he return he was in no mans land feuding with people who weren't gonna help elevate on the card but with this victory it makes him look like someone who will be challenging for a belt soon. Great opener, and great match.

2nd Match: Mariah May (c) vs. Willow Nightingale for the AEW Women’s World Championship - Match Rating: **** - This is Mariah May best title defense to date. They both have great chemistry, and I love the match. I really hope they can run it back in the future because both ladies killed it. Mariah May looked the best she has since her match against Toni Storm at ALL IN London, England, and Willow Nightingale knows how to put on good matches.

3rd Match: Jack Perry (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata for the AEW TNT Championship - Match Rating: *** - This match was okay, Jack Perry doesn't really move me whatsoever he's very boring, and very bland in the ring. But Katsuyori Shibata is always a joy to watch in the match he kinda saved it for me. But after the match Daniel Garcia came to make a save which proceed MJF to return, and Adam Cole. The after - match events was more entertaining than the match itself.

4th Match: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Ricochet vs. Konosuke Takeshita in a Triple Threat Match for the AEW International Championship - Match Rating: ***** - This was my Match of the Night what an amazing match. This joins the legendary AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe Triple Threat from TNA in 2005 as one of the best Triple Threat Matches of all time. Will Ospreay was doing stuff that just keeps me being wow'd because he just knows how to pull out new tricks each and every time. Ricochet still got it he looked very good in this match he still can go with the best of em' and at a fast pace which I'm very happy about. Konosuke Takeshita had so many OMG moments in this match especially the table spot involving Ricochet. But we saw a swerve where Kyle Fletcher turned on his best friend Will Ospreay and blast him with a screw driver to help Konosuke Takeshita to get his 1st Singles Championship in AEW as he's the new AEW International Champion. Amazing Match, and a Match of the Year Candidate in my eyes.

5th Match: Hologram vs. The Beast Mortos in a Best Two Out of Three Falls Match - Match Rating: ***.75 - A lot of fun moments in this match, and Hologram gets a major victory on a Paper View Event over The Beast Mortos. Hologram is still undefeated in AEW but he showed out in this match same with The Beast Mortos.

6th Match: Darby Allin vs. Brody King - Match Rating: ***.50 - This was a David vs. Goliath style of a match. Darby Allin was doing some nasty bumps in this match. Brody King looked good in this match. I'm really happy he's branching out as a singles star because he's very underrated. But Darby Allin got the win and afterwards both wrestlers showed each other respect.

7th Match: The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) (c) vs. Private Party (Quen & Zay) for the AEW World Tag Team Championships - Match Ratings: ***.25 - I was really let - down because I wanted Private Party to win so badly, because the pre - match promo with Amazing Red had me feeling that they were gonna get there crowning moment tonight and become AEW World Tag Team Champions but nope The Young Bucks found a way to get the win and retained. I felt like this was the wrong decision I felt like it was time for Private Party to get the long overdue win to get the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Hopefully they run this back at AEW Full Gear and have them win but I don't know anymore.

8th Match: Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship - Match Rating: *** - This was an okay title defense didn't expect a Chris Jericho Match to be a Semi - Main Event Match for any event this year but here we are. Mark Briscoe gets the win to retain which was the right decision because Mark Briscoe been a very solid champion.

The Main Event Match: Bryan Danielson (c) vs. Jon Moxley (with Marnia Shafir) for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship - Match Rating: ****.25 - This match was very solid. But the afterwards is what everyone is talking about. Jon Moxley now is a 4x AEW World Champion but the 1st time as a heel world champion in AEW. Claudio, PAC, Marina Shafir, and Wheeler Yuta all attacked Bryan Danielson afterwards leaving everyone speechless. With this lost this is the end of Bryan Danielson full - time in - ring career. Now that Bryan Danielson is written off the story can finally take off for Jon Moxley. But who's gonna be the one who stops him? This will be the new main story for AEW for many months as a lot of people are interested to see where this leads to.
