My Thoughts on the November 28th Episode of AAA Alianzas:
My Thoughts: A great show, they have utilized this WWE Deal, and made great use, as we have been seeing a boost in the AAA Product. I think the Main Event was an excellent match, and the opener was a lot of fun with the high-flyers taking flight. The next AAA Event is looking to be a great event.
The November 28th Episode of AAA Alianzas — The Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Jack Cartwheel vs. Chris Carter vs. Elio LeFleur in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title Number One Contendership Three-Way Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 — This was a great match, we saw Aigle Blanc debut, who signed with WWE but goes by Elio LeFleur. Jack Cartwheel is one underrated wrestler on the WWE ID Program, and Chris Carter had a solid performance. This match felt like an old-school TNA X-Division match mixed in with some cool old-school Lucha Libre. Jack Cartwheel got the win, but WWE needs to invest in a Cruiserweight Division again because the talent they have can make for a great Cruiserweight Division in WWE.
The 2nd Match: Las Toxicas (Flammer & La Hiedra) vs. Faby Apache & Lola Vice in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: **.75 — A standard TV Tag Match featuring Flammer and La Hiedra as they took down Faby Apache and Lola Vice of NXT. This wasn't anything special, but there was a lot of in-ring action, and we saw Las Toxcias get the win.
The 3rd Match: La Parka, Mr. Iguana & Nino Hamburguesa vs. Galeno Del Mal & LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) in a Six-Man Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: **.25 — La Parka, Mr. Iguana, and Nino Hamburguesa took on Galeno Del Mal and LWO Members Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde. This was a decent Six-Man Tag Team Match. It felt very short, but they tried to get a lot of high-action moments. The match ended with La Parka, Mr. Iguana, and Nino Hamburguesa getting the win. Then afterwards, an angry Galeno Del Mal got the ass-whooping of everyone and took a beating from everyone involved in the match.
The Main Event Match: El Grande Americano vs. El Hijo del Vikingo in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ****.50 — Amazing Main Event, the villainous El Hijo del Vikingo took on the Fan-Favorite El Grande Americano, and had a great action-packed Main Event with a story being told. Ludwig Kaiser was given a gimmick and made it into gold, which is insane, but you can't be shocked, as he did great work last year with Sheamus and Bron Breakker. El Hijo del Vikingo played his heel role well. This turn was needed; he needed the character refresh, as his character was stalling, and the fan didn't accept him as a babyface at all. El Grande Americano got the win and got an Attitude Era reception; it was like Stone Cold Steve Austin came back. Afterwards, El Hijo del Vikingo tried to rip the mask of El Grande Americano, but it didn't work as Dragon Lee and El Hijo del Vikingo wrestled it out. Rey Mysterio came out and announced the mega match between Dragon Lee and El Hijo del Vikingo at the next major AAA Event, which will be a fun match.
The November 28th AAA Alianzas — The Match of the Night: El Grande Americano vs. El Hijo del Vikingo in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ****.50
The November 28th Episode of AAA Alianzas — The Episode Grade: 8.50/10 (A-) — This was a very good show, ever since the partnership with WWE, AAA has utilized the WWE Wrestlers and made good use and it has made for some solid TV. And recently, they just got a deal with FOX Mexico, which is a major for AAA. This was a very fun episode. The Opener and Main Event made the show for me.
