My Thoughts on the November 22nd Episode of AAA Alianzas:

My Thoughts: By all means, this was a very fun event. I do love the fact that it was on YouTube, as WWE wants to make AAA much bigger. That's the smart way of doing it, but also to note, don't do it on a major PPV day for AEW, as it can stun the viewership. The four matches I saw were okay; one match I didn't like, which was the AAA Mixed Tag Team Title Match, as it felt pointless, but this was a lot of fun. AAA has had its best year in recent memory. As you remember, AAA was a promotion that was on the downswing and a laughing stock, but since the WWE acquisition of AAA, they have been somewhat respectable, as a lot of WWE Talent really help the shows, mixed in with some AAA Talent. But next week, another big show for AAA, and the card looks quite enjoyable.

The November 22nd Episode of AAA Alianzas — The Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Je’Von Evans defeated Axiom and Octagon Jr. in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title Number One Contendership Three-Way Match | The Match Rating: **** — A very fun match, where as I expected Je'Von Evans to steal the show, he had an eventful week as he Main Event an MSG Show against Gunther, had a WWE NXT Tag Team Title Match, and now has a shot at the AAA World Cruiserweight Title. Axiom was involved, so was Octagon Jr. We also saw the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Laredo Kid, by ringside watching and seeing who his next challenger was. Axiom and Je'Von Evans were tearing it up. I would love to see a one-on-one match between these two in the future, and Octagon Jr. displayed some fun offense. Je Von Evans got the win and now will face Laredo Kid for the AAA World Cruiserweight Title at AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20 from Guadalajara.

The 2nd Match: Los Psycho Circus (Dave The Clown, Murder Clown & Psycho Clown) & Pagano defeated El Ojo (El Mesias, Forastero, Mecha Wolf & Sanson) in a No Disqualification Eight-Man Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: **.75 — This was a fine undercard match for the show. The Psycho Circus is super over; in-ring action wasn't bad at all, it was quite enjoyable, and I thought El Ojo had some solid heel heat with the crowd. Psycho Clowns got the win, and afterwards, Bo Dallas of the Wyatt Sicks appeared and suggested an Eight-Man Tag Team Match next month against the Psycho Clowns.

The 3rd Match: Chelsea Green & Ethan Page (c) defeated Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana in a AAA World Mixed Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: *.50 — This match didn't sit well with me as it felt sluggish; they should have had the Fabulous Apache & Natalya Tag Match on this Card instead of this. It was very short, and it felt like this match threw off the flow of the show. When you watch the match, as expected, Chelsea Green and Ethan Page retained and are still AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions, but this match was really not needed whatsoever, as it just didn't hit anything for me.

The Main Event Match: Dominik Mysterio & El Grande Americano defeated Dragon Lee & El Hijo del Vikingo in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 — The AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano, the villainous team, took on the WWE World Tag Team Champion Dragon Lee and El Hijo del Vikingo in a fiery Main Event Tag Team Match. This match had everything from the heel heat and the engagement from the AAA Crowd, and some surprising moments. The in-ring action was great; you have some elite talents in this match, and the action was quite enjoyable. El Hijo del Vikingo turned heel as he jumped off the apron and kicked Dragon Lee. As a result, Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano got the win because of it, and afterward, we saw the reform Lucha Bros confront Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano and issued a match at Guerra de Titanes on December 20th.

The November 22nd AAA Alianzas  The Match of the Night: Dominik Mysterio & El Grande Americano defeated Dragon Lee & El Hijo del Vikingo in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: ****.25

The November 22nd Episode of AAA Alianzas — The Episode Grade: 7/10 (B-) — An enjoyable show mixed in some fun action, and AAA as a whole as had a lot of benefits working with WWE, and this being on YouTube Streaming Live was a very smart idea to get more people watching the AAA product but the show itself was very enjoyable and can’t wait for next week AAA Alianzas.
