My Thoughts on the January 24th Episode of AAA on FOX:
My Thoughts: This was an okay episode of AAA on FOX. I thought this show was mainly a lot of titles getting put on the line, as we got three title matches on the show. Laredo Kid retained his AAA Cruiserweight Title, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. made quick work of Mecha Wolf to retain his AAA Latin American Title, and Psycho Clown took care of bisoness as they retained their AAA World Tag Team Titles in a Four-Way Match against Nueva Generacion Dinamita, Motor City Machine Guns, and Tokyo Bad Boys. But at the end of the show, we saw the episode end on a cliffhanger as one of the members of Los Psycho Circus was placed in an Ambulance being transported away. This show felt like a filler outside of Penta’s huge announcement. This episode didn’t do much for me, but we'll see what happens next week on AAA on FOX.
The January 24th Episode of AAA on FOX — The Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Laredo Kid (c) vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Octagon Jr. in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title Three-Way Match | The Match Rating: N/A — This was a quick sprinit it was funny to see El Hijo del Vikingo younger brother getting the spotlight in this match, and Octagon Jr. had a good showing but that wasn’t enough as Laredo Kid retained his AAA World Cruiserweight Title.
The 2nd Match: El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) vs. Mecha Wolf in a AAA Latin American Title Match | The Match Rating: N/A — This was a very quick match, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. is getting back on track after what took place last week with him and Santos Escobar but this was an okay match Mecha Wolf got some offense in but El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. got the win and retained his AAA Latin American Title.
The Main Event Match: Pagano & Psycho Clown (c) vs. Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Forastero & Sanson) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento & Takuma) in a AAA World Tag Team Title Four-Way Match | The Match Rating: ***.50 — This was a very fun tag team title match. Pagano and Psycho Clown have been having a solid title reign, and they put up a good fight against Motor City Machine Guns, Tokyo Bad Guys, and Nueva Generacion Dinamita. This match ended with Pagano and Psycho Clown on top, then afterwards we saw the show end on a cliff hanger with one of the Los Psycho Circus members being put away in an Ambulence.
The January 24th AAA on FOX— The Match of the Night: Pagano & Psycho Clown (c) vs. Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Forastero & Sanson) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento & Takuma) in a AAA World Tag Team Title Four-Way Match | The Match Rating: ***.50
The January 24th Episode of AAA on FOX — The Episode Grade: 5/10 (C) — It wasn’t like the first episode but this episode felt like a filler episode with three title matches, and the Penta announcment was about the AAA Mega Title and the future with that but next week the Qualifying Matches start and we see which four will be in the Rey de Reyes Match.
Next Week, AAA on FOX January 31st Episode in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico — The Announced Matches & Segments:
