My Official Thoughts on the April 11th Episode of AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide:

My Thoughts: This episode of AAA was amazing, with La Catalina coming from CMLL to join AAA as she interrupted Flammer Coronation, and attacked her and the rest of Las Toxicas as she is targeting the AAA Reina de Reinas Title. The opening match of Original El Grande Americano and Octagon Jr. was a filler as the after match activities has been the talking point of the whole episode, and even the large talking point of the wrestling community they had one of the best brawls I've seen in ages, Chad Gable & Ludwig Kaiser have been booked so well by The Undertaker, and seeing how this brawl was ongoing throughout the night was great, now we getting a Mask vs. Mask to conclude the Chad Gable version of El Grande Americano. The Main Event Match was electric and a lot of fun. Penta and El Hijo del Vikingo had a very fun match filled with chaos and drama. Mini Vikingo cost his older brother the chance of winning the title as Penta finished El Hijo del Vikingo off with a Springboard Mexican Destroyer. This was such a fun episode, AAA has been the best thing within the WWE brass. If you had told me two to three years ago that AAA would be good again, I would've laughed, but they actually produce great content.

The April 11th Episode of AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide — My Official Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: The Original El Grande Americano vs. Octagon Jr. in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: **.50 — Was really looking forward to this match as Octagon Jr. and Chad Gable going to blows sound a lot of fun, but this match was more so for Original El Grande Americano to build heat, and foreshadow a match between someone... after the match we saw one of the best wrestling brawls I have seen in ages, as El Grande Americano comes out to attack the Original El Grande Americano as they were brawling like someone possesed, as they were not letting the restrenth of the security guards not allow them to brawl, as they were brawling throighout the night, until the closing moments of the epirose where the challenge was made a Mask vs. Mask Match, in the future, as we know with how over Ludwig Kaiser is I don't ever think his adapation of El Grande Americano is ending, he's like Stone Cold levels of popular but the return of Chad Gable is coming which makes me happy inside.

The Main Event Match: Penta (c) vs. El Hijo del Vikingo (with Dorian Roldan) in a WWE Intercontinental Title Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 — This was worth it, Penta who got an Attitude Level Reaction back in his home country of Mexico, as we were delievered a fun Main Event, El Hijo del Vikingo has been a great heel in AAA, he been fun to watch, and also, the added element of him feeding into the negative reactions, and being more of a chicken-shit heel is awesome. The in-ring material was great, I enjoyed the high-octane offenseive moves, and I loved that Mini Vikingo got involved cracking his older brother with the WWE Intercontinental Title as Penta hit a Springboard Mexican Destroyer to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title as now he'll focus on the Six-Pack Ladder Match at WrestleMania next week on Sunday, but for El Hijo del Vikingo he's going to be targeting his little brother in Mini Vikingo. Overall, fun, electric Main Event, AAA has been so much fun to watch.

The April 11th Episode of AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide— My Match of the Night: Penta (c) vs. El Hijo del Vikingo (with Dorian Roldan) in a WWE Intercontinental Title Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 — This was a worthwhile event, as Penta received an Attitude Level Reaction in his home country of Mexico. We were treated to an entertaining Main Event featuring El Hijo del Vikingo, who has been a great heel in AAA. He’s fun to watch and adds excitement by feeding into negative reactions, making his heel persona even more entertaining. The in-ring action was excellent, with high-octane offensive moves that kept everyone engaged. I especially enjoyed the moment when Mini Vikingo got involved, cracking his older brother with the WWE Intercontinental Title. Penta then hit a Springboard Mexican Destroyer to retain the title, shifting his focus to the Six-Pack Ladder Match at WrestleMania next week. Meanwhile, El Hijo del Vikingo will now target his younger brother, Mini Vikingo. Overall, it was a fun, electrifying Main Event, and AAA continues to be incredibly enjoyable to watch.

The April 11th Episode of AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide — My Official Episode Grade: 8.50/10 (A-) — This episode of AAA was fantastic. La Catalina made a surprise jump from CMLL to AAA, interrupting Flammer’s coronation and attacking her along with the rest of Las Tóxicas, clearly setting her sights on the AAA Reina de Reinas Title. The opening match between the original El Grande Americano and Octagón Jr. felt like filler, but everything that happened afterward completely stole the show. The post-match brawl has become the main talking point of the entire episode and even a major discussion across the wrestling community. It was one of the best brawls I’ve seen in a long time. Chad Gable and Ludwig Kaiser have been booked brilliantly by The Undertaker, and watching their fight spill throughout the night was awesome. Now we’re headed toward a Mask vs. Mask match to wrap up the Chad Gable version of El Grande Americano. The main event was electric and incredibly fun. Penta and El Hijo del Vikingo put on a wild, dramatic match full of chaos. Mini Vikingo ended up costing his older brother the title, as Penta finished El Hijo del Vikingo with a springboard Mexican Destroyer. Overall, this was such an enjoyable episode. AAA has become the best thing under the WWE umbrella. If you’d told me two or three years ago that AAA would be this good again, I would’ve laughed, but they’re actually delivering great content now.
