My Official Thoughts on AAA Noche de Los Grandes:

My Official Thoughts: This was an all-timer event. Before WWE purchased AAA, the Promotion was a joke, and everyone on the roster was washed or past their prime, with a few bright stars. Now in 2026, we have seen AAA transcend into one of the best products in all of wrestling with fun acts, great young talent, and major players. At this event, we saw three new title-holders and the amazing Mask Vs. Mask match that has been talked about since the match ended. Amazing Night, and the Undertaker, kudos to you.

My AAA Noche de Los Grandes Official Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Laredo Kid (c) in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 — Awesome Opener, this was such a fun AAA World Cruiserweight Title Match. The Undertaker has done a better job booking Rey Fenix than Triple H has on SmackDown because, man, it's a night & day difference. I liked the ending, using a tactic that Laredo Kid would've done to end his reign and become the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion. Now Rey Fenix & Penta are both Singles Champions, and will be reuniting soon in AAA, which will make for fun action.

The 2nd Match: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) vs. El Hijo del Vikingo (with Dorian Roldan) in a AAA Latin American Title Match | The Match Rating: **.75 — This was a very quick match. I thought this would take some time, but it went by quickly. I do think these two could've given a better match; that's just how I feel, but in the end, we have a new AAA Latin American Champion with El Hijo del Vikingo, who has been a marvelous heel after pivoting from babyface due to the crowd rejecting him as a fan-favorite. But now, what's next for El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.? Does he try to regain the title, or what happens with his direction?

The 3rd Match: Pagano & Psycho Clown (c) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) in a AAA World Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: **.50 — The War Raiders have now added the AAA World Tag Team Titles to their resume. I was kinda excited for this match, but I didn't expect it to blow me away. But Pagano & Psycho Clown were holding the AAA World Tag Team Titles, but they had ongoing drama and couldn't trust each other, which played a factor in them losing the titles. Now, the War Raiders holding the titles is a very smart booking choice. I'm excited about the teams they could be facing.

The Main Event Match: El Grande Americano vs. The Original El Grande Americano in a Mask Vs. Mask | The Match Rating: ***** — In my 24-years on planet earth, U have seen a lot of WWE Matches within the WWE Brass be amazing, but this is probably the greatest WWE-produced match I've ever seen with my own two eyes. I got home in time to watch this LIVE. This was awesome. Chad Gable and Ludwig Kaiser tore the house down. This had everything: the blood, drama, near-falls, and the amazing finish. I have to say this is probably the Feud of the Year because from start to finish, it was amazing. The Undertaker, man, you have saved AAA, because the writing he has done in 2026 has been amazing. This show, from top to bottom, was great. The after-math speech by Chad Gable was amazing. Both men did an amazing job. Now that Chad Gable is back, the WWE Intercontinental Title is calling your name, my friend, or even the WWE World Heavyweight Title, because if Triple H doesn't do anything with him after this, I don't know what to say. Ludwig Kaiser is next for the AAA Mega Title at AAA TripleMania. What an amazing showing by both men, and the AAA revival this year has been amazing.

My AAA Noche de Los Grandes Match of the Night: El Grande Americano vs. The Original El Grande Americano in a Mask Vs. Mask | The Match Rating: ***** — In my 24 years, I’ve seen many WWE matches, but this was probably the greatest WWE-produced match I’ve seen live. I watched it at home—awesome. Chad Gable and Ludwig Kaiser tore the house down with everything: blood, drama, near-falls, and an amazing finish. Probably Feud of the Year, from start to finish. The Undertaker, you’ve saved AAA with your writing in 2026. This show was great overall. Chad Gable’s after-math speech was impressive. Both men did an excellent job. Now that Chad Gable is back, the WWE Intercontinental Title or WWE World Heavyweight Title is calling his name, and if Triple H doesn’t do something with him after this, I don’t know what. Ludwig Kaiser is next for the AAA Mega Title at AAA TripleMania. Both men showed up, and AAA’s revival this year has been incredible.

My AAA Noche de Los Grandes Official Event Grade: 9/10 (A) — This was an all-time event. Before WWE purchased AAA, the promotion was a joke with a mostly washed roster and only a few bright spots. Now in 2026, AAA has become one of the best products in wrestling, with fun acts, great young talent, and major players. This show delivered three new champions and the Mask vs. Mask match everyone’s been raving about. An amazing night, kudos to The Undertaker.
