The Opening Match: Laredo Kid (c) defeated Dragon Lee and Jack Cartwheel and TJ Perkins in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title Four-Way Match | via Pin-Fall — (13:20)

The Main Event Match: El Fiscal defeated Abismo Negro Jr. in a Singles Match | via Pin-Fall — (06:35)

My Thoughts on the March 28th Special Event of AAA Rey De Reyes:

My Thoughts: A decent week three of Rey de Reyes, we kicked things off with a very fun AAA World Cruiserweight Title Match as Laredo Kid retained, but then a little stinker occurred as El Fiscal took down Abismo Negro Jr., but the match was very slow-paced, had some botches, and the heat for this match wasn't 100% there. In the final part of this show, we saw El Hijo del Vikingo challenge Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Title, which was made official for April 11th in Mexico City, so I'm very excited for that. But this was very solid. I think AAA has been on a good, strong stretch. Next week looks like a filler episode, but I hope everything resumes on April 11th once we hit AAA on FOX Live.

The March 28th Special Event of AAA Rey De Reyes — My Official Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Laredo Kid (c) vs. Dragon Lee vs. Jack Cartwheel vs. TJ Perkins in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title Four-Way Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 — The AAA Cruiserweight Division is red-hot. What a match, we saw from all four men in this match. Jack Cartwheel is insane. I have seen some of his stuff before, but how he has been booked on AAA has been great. He had a great showing. TJ Perkins was cool to see in this match; he was doing his thing in this match as well. But Dragon Lee was phenomenal in this match; the only issue I have was the referee, even the crowd pointed out that the referee botched. But Laredo Kid retained, with Rey Fenix appearing to seemingly tell him he's eyeing the AAA World Cruiserweight Title. Things are starting to heat up in the AAA with the Cruiserweight Division.

The Main Event Match: El Fiscal vs. Abismo Negro Jr. in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ** — This was okay. I'm not interested in this rivalry whatsoever. This match felt clunky at some points, but in the end, El Fiscal got the win, but wasn't the one standing tall as Abismo Negro Jr. Tombstone Piledrive El Fiscal onto the announcer table. Singing this feud is a long way from over. But this was probably the weakest match from all of Rey de Reyes three-week-long event.

The March 28th Special Event of AAA Rey De Reyes — My Match of the Night: Laredo Kid (c) vs. Dragon Lee vs. Jack Cartwheel vs. TJ Perkins in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title Four-Way Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 — This was a very fun, electric match that had the fans enjoying it. I thought this was the best match from all of the AAA Rey de Reyes Matches. I think Laredo Kid and Rey Fenix going down a collision course is going to provide some entertaining stuff.

The March 28th Special Event of AAA Rey De Reyes — My Official Episode Grade: 7.25/10 (B-) — I thought that the AAA World Cruiserweight Title Four-Way Match, and the El Hijo del Vikingo and Penta Segment were the main highlights that provided for a strong final week for AAA Rey de Reyes. I think AAA has had a strong stretch as of late, and I hope it continues because they have really been delivering some good matches and segments this past month.
