My Thoughts on the AEW Pay-Per-View Event | AEW All In Texas | Live Event Show:

My Thoughts: What a show! The opener of the match was okay, but I felt they should have kicked things off with the Casino Men's Gauntlet Match instead. While there were some solid moments and decent back-and-forth action, The Opps won and retained their titles. However, they weren't standing tall for long, as the Death Riders took out Samoa Joe with a chair around his neck, leaving him incapacitated on a stretcher. This was all set up for the Main Event, as some babyfaces wouldn’t be able to help Adam Page, who wanted to take down Jon Moxley and become the AEW World Champion. Compared to last year’s Men's Gauntlet Match, this one was better in terms of the right choice of winner. MJF came out and caused damage, and I liked the selections of participants in the match. Juice Robinson returned and looked jacked without his beard. However, Max Caster being the last entry was disappointing. I'm glad MJF won, as he has history with Adam Page, and their ongoing story should be explored even more. The next match was easily the worst of the card. While I love Dustin Rhodes (Goldust) and think he's underrated, I felt it was Kyle Fletcher's moment to win the AEW TNT Title. The match itself was quite clunky, with too much focus on the tension between Dustin and Sammy Guevara, the current ROH World Tag Team Champions. I initially thought the ending was a botch, but now Dustin holds the ROH World Trios Championship, the ROH World Tag Team Championships, and the AEW TNT Title. My thoughts and prayers go out to Adam Cole, as he's been plagued by injuries. I hope he has a speedy recovery—he's one of the best wrestlers but has had the worst luck with injuries. The next match was amazing. I didn’t expect Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay to win, especially since they won't challenge for the AEW World Title for a year. The Young Bucks looked great, pulling out all the stops to keep their EVP Titles. However, Swerve and Will proved to be too much, and they finally defeated The Young Bucks, stripping them of their titles. This marked the end of the Swerve-Strickland and Will Ospreay team, finishing with an impressive 3-0 as a unit. This match was a lot of fun and far better than the Men's Casino Gauntlet Match. With a running time of about twenty-five minutes, the in-ring action was superb. Thekla looked great, while Megan Bayne served as the muscle of the match alongside Kris Statlander. Willow Nightingale was the crowd's favorite. I was thrilled to see Athena make an appearance, and she did indeed win, earning a future AEW Women's World Title match, which I’m eager to see against Toni Storm. The next match was okay, featuring some fun moments, with JetSpeed standing out. It was a nice change of pace after the chaotic Women's Casino Gauntlet match, serving as a good breather. The Hurt Syndicate retained their titles, and afterward, Nick Wayne turned on Christian Cage, leading to the return of Adam Copeland, who came to save his childhood best friend. This was a fantastic moment, as Adam told Christian to find himself. Toni Storm and Mercedes Moné delivered an incredible match that ranks among the greatest women's matches in AEW history. The near-falls and drama elevated the contest. Unfortunately, this was Mercedes Moné’s first loss in singles competition in AEW, but she lost to Toni Storm, arguably one of the best women wrestlers in the world. While this match didn’t quite match their previous encounters, it still showcased their amazing rivalry. Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega’s match had a significant fight feel, and I appreciated the importance they brought to it, especially since it was a Winner Takes All match introducing a new title. I liked how Kenny Omega was relentless in his efforts to defeat Okada, but then his longtime rival, Don Callis, interfered, seemingly costing him the match. As a result, Kazuchika Okada became the first-ever AEW Unified Champion. I hope this belt is treated as a secondary world title since it has a lot of prestige behind it. Finally, Adam Page returned to his old theme, looking like his former self without the heavy mustache. His presentation was fantastic. The match against Jon Moxley was chaotic, violent, and extremely bloody. I loved how Hangman Page pulled out all the stops to try to stop Jon Moxley, even stabbing him with a fork, creating a shocking visual. It was quite a wild ride!

AEW Pay-Per-View Event | AEW All In Texas | Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: The Opps (Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs & Samoa Joe) (c) vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) & Gabe Kidd in an AEW World Trios Championship Match | Match Rating: ***.25 | This was an okay opener of a match. I thought they should've kicked things off with the Casino Men's Gauntlet Match, but this match wasn't all that. There were some solid moments and decent back-and-forth, but The Opps won and retained their titles. But they weren't standing tall as the Death Riders took out Samoa Joe with a chair around his neck and took him out as he was stretchered out to play in the Main Event so some babyface's don't come out to help Adam Page as he wants to take down Jon Moxley and become the AEW World Champion.

2nd Match: MJF vs. Anthony Bowens vs. Bandido vs. Brody King vs. Josh Alexander vs. Juice Robinson vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kota Ibushi vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Max Caster vs. Mistico vs. Ricochet vs. Roderick Strong vs. The Beast Mortos in a Men’s Casino Gauntlet Match | Match Rating: *** | Not like last year's Men's Gauntlet match, but it was with the right choice of a winner, unlike last year. MJF is coming out and doing his damage to others. I like the choices of people in the match. I liked that Juice Robinson returned. He looked jacked and without his beard. Max Caster as the last entry was a disappointing thing, but I'm glad MJF won because he and Adam Page have history, and the story between them needs to be explored even more.

3rd Match: Dustin Rhodes vs. Daniel Garcia vs. Kyle Fletcher vs. Sammy Guevara in a Fatal-Four Way Title Match for the Vacant AEW TNT Championship | Match Rating: **.25 | This was the worst match from the card easily. I thought they picked the wrong choice of the winner, and don't get me wrong, I love Dustin Rhodes, Goldust, he's very underrated, but I felt like it was Kyle Fletcher's moment to get the AEW TNT Title. The match itself was very clunky, and they kept focusing on the tension between Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara, who are the current ROH World Tag Team Champions. But the ending of the match, I thought was a botch, but now Dustin Rhodes holds the ROH World Trios Championship, ROH World Tag Team Championships, and now the AEW TNT Title. Also, my thoughts and prayers for Adam Cole, who has just been hit with the injury bug, and I pray he's okay and has a speedy recovery one of the best wrestlers who just has the worst luck with these injuries.

4th Match: Swerve Strickland & Will Ospreay (with Prince Nana) vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ****.75 | Such an amazing match, I didn't think that Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay were going to win, and we see them not challenge for the AEW World Title for a year. The Young Bucks looked great in this match. They were pulling out everything to win and keep their EVP Title. But Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay were too much as they finally put down The Young Bucks, and now they are stripped of their EVP Titles, and now Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay still will be able to continue to challenge for the AEW World Title. Great Match, and now the Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay team is done as they went 3-0 as a unit.

5th Match: Athena vs. Alex Windsor vs. Julia Hart (with Skye Blue) vs. Kris Statlander vs. Megan Bayne vs. Mina Shirakawa vs. Queen Aminata vs. Syuri vs. Tay Melo vs. Thekla vs. Thunder Rosa vs. Willow Nightingale in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match | Match Rating: **** | This was a lot of fun. This was miles better than the Men's Casino Gauntlet Match and was the perfect timespan, as this match went for around the twenty-five-minute range. The in-ring action was great. Thekla looked great, Megan Bayne was the muscle of this match with Kris Statlander. Willow Nightingale was the red-hot baby face of the match. Athena coming in was great as she was my choice for winning this match, and she indeed did. Now she has a future AEW Women's World title Match, and I'm glad she'll because I'm ready to see Athena and Toni Storm.

6th Match: The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) (with MJF) (c) vs. JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) vs. The Patriarchy (Christian Cage & Nick Wayne) (with Kip Sabian & Mother Wayne) in a Three-Way Tag Title Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships | Match Rating: ***.75 | This was an okay match, there were some fun moments, as JetSpeed were the main highlights for me in this match. It was a good change of pace as we had that insane Women's Casino Gauntlet before his match, so this was a good breather. The Hurt Syndicate retained, and afterwards Nick Wayne turned on Christian Cage, which preceded the return of Adam Copeland to make the save of his childhood best friend. This was an amazing moment as Adam Copeland told Christian Cage to go find himself.

7th Match: Toni Storm (with Luther) (c) vs. Mercedes Moné in a Singles Title Match for the AEW Women’s World Championship | Match Rating: ****.50 | Toni Storm and Mercedes Moné, what an amazing match. I think this was one of the greatest women's matches in the history of AEW. I thought that near-falls and drama added more to this match. Mercedes Moné, I think, suffered her first loss in singles action in AEW. But she lost to arguably one of the best women wrestlers in the world in Toni Storm, amazing match, and I'm hoping in the future they can have another match again.

8th Match: Kazuchika Okada (c) [Continental] vs. Kenny Omega (with Kota Ibushi) (c) [International] in a Unification Match Winner Takes All Match for the AEW Unified Championship | Match Rating: ****.25 | This wasn't on par with their previous matches, but it did deliver. That's how amazing this rivalry is; it didn't even match the previous matches, but this match didn't hit the gear that it should've hit. Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega had a big fight feel to this, and I'm really happy with how they made this feel so important because it's a Winner Takes All with a new title being introduced. I liked how Kenny Omega was doing everything, trying to end Kazuchika Okada, but Kenny Omega's longtime arch rival came in Don Callis who seemingly cost Kenny Omega the match, and now Kazuchika Okada is the first ever AEW Unified Champion. I hope they treat this belt as a 2nd World Title because with the prestige, it definitely can be.

The Main Event Match: Adam Page vs. Jon Moxley (with Marnia Shafir) (c) in a Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship | Match Rating: ***** | This was one of the best matches from AEW in 2025. Adam Page came out to his old theme and looked like his old self without the heavy mustache. His presentation looked great. Jon Moxley came out, and the match was chaotic, violent, and just straight up bloody. I loved how Hangman Page was pulling everything out of the book to stop Jon Moxley, and he stabbed him with a fork as blood poured out. It was such a crazy visual to see. We saw Will Ospreay come to help, but he was taken out and stretchered out. Bryan Danielson made his long-awaited return in a mask and hit the Psycho Knee to take out Claudio Castagnoli and dived to the outside as the place roared. Darby Allin from the rafters came down and helped out, and the place went nuts because we haven't seen him since the Death Riders took him out. The ending of the match was poetic as Swerve Strickland helped Hangman, his longtime rival, and gave the chain he was handed to Collison, and Adam Page choked Jon Moxley out to make him submit to win the AEW World Title. We all felt the emotions when he unlocked the case and grabbed the title as the place roared, a beautiful moment for the Main Character of AEW, a poetic way to end a great show, and now Adam Page is a 2x AEW World Champion. Beautiful ending, and the Cowboy rides off in the sunset with the World Title. Now that is some Cowboy Shit.

AEW Pay-Per-View Event | AEW All In Texas | Match of the Night: Adam Page vs. Jon Moxley (with Marnia Shafir) (c) in a Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship | Match Rating: *****

AEW Pay-Per-View Event | AEW All In Texas | Event Grade: 9.75/10 (A+) | This was a marvelous event as we saw Adam Page do the unthinkable as he finally took down the Death Riders and captured the AEW World Title. We saw many cool moments from this show. AEW put together a very fun show from start to finish, and now we are in the Adam Page Era again, and I'm excited for this era again because I hope it surpasses his first title run as AEW World Champion.
