My Thoughts on the November 12th Episode of AEW Blood & Guts:

My Thoughts: This was undoubtedly the best Blood and Guts run presented by AEW to date. The latest episode was spectacular, and it easily stands out as the best Dynamite episode of the 2025 calendar year so far. I was thoroughly impressed by every match on the card, with each one delivering stellar action and excitement. Special recognition goes to the women involved, who put on an outstanding performance and demonstrated remarkable athleticism and storytelling in their matches. The energy from the crowd was electric throughout the night, adding another layer of excitement to an already memorable show. This episode truly solidified why AEW continues to set itself apart in the world of professional wrestling. To make things even more exciting, we are now just one week away from AEW Full Gear, which looks to be shaping up into a highly anticipated and entertaining event. Expectations are high, and after such an incredible Dynamite, fans have every reason to look forward with excitement.

The November 12th Episode of AEW Blood & Guts — The Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Marnia Shafir, Megan Bayne, Mercedes Mone & Triangle Of Madness (Julia Hart, Skye Blue & Thekla) (with Penelope Ford) vs. Harley Cameron, Jamie Hayter, Kris Statlander, Mina Shirakawa, Toni Storm & Willow Nightingale in a Women’s Blood And Guts Twelve-Women Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: ****.75 — This electrifying contest opened with chaos as twelve of the fiercest competitors in the division collided inside the unforgiving Blood and Guts structure. Early on, Julia Hart and Skye Blue showed why they’re the backbone of Triangle of Madness, tagging in and out with quick offense. Mercedes Mone’s star power shone through as she dominated stretches, even as Toni Storm and Kris Statlander rallied their team with powerful suplexes and combo attacks.

The action spilled all over the arena: Megan Bayne displayed her impressive strength, even hoisting two opponents at once. Meanwhile, Willow Nightingale brought relentless energy, nearly pinning Thekla after a crushing cannonball into the corner. Penelope Ford’s interference at ringside provided some key moments, leading to bedlam inside the cage. When the dust settled, the resilience and cunning of Shafir, Bayne, Mone, and the Triangle of Madness allowed them to capitalize on the chaos, eking out a hard-fought victory after Mercedes Mone delivered her signature ‘Mone Maker’ on Jamie Hayter for the win. The match’s wild pace and dramatic stakes set the tone for the night, earning a standout rating of ****.75.

The 2nd Match: Adam Page vs. Powerhouse Hobbs in a Falls Count Anywhere Match | The Match Rating: ****.50 — In this brutal, no-holds-barred clash, Adam Page and Powerhouse Hobbs took “Falls Count Anywhere” literally, battling in and out of the ring in a fierce contest of strength and resilience. The opening minutes saw Hobbs use his sheer power to lunge Page into barricades and pummel him with heavy strikes. Page, never one to back down, countered with high-impact offense, nailing a moonsault off the arena steps and landing with a thunderous lariat that bowled Hobbs over the announce table. The two brawled through the crowd, trading blows amid the fans before the fight returned ringside. Hobbs nearly finished Page with a spinebuster on the steel ramp, but Page’s grit kept him alive. The match reached its climax near the entrance ramp, where Page evaded a charging Hobbs, sending him crashing through a pile of chairs. Page seized the opportunity, delivering a Buckshot Lariat off a nearby barricade, pinning Hobbs amidst the debris. The high-octane drama and out-of-ring action delivered a memorable spectacle.

The Main Event Match: Darby Allin, Roderick Strong & The Conglormeration (Kyle O’Reilly, Mark Briscoe & Orange Cassidy) vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, Jon Moxley, PAC & Wheeler Yuta) in a Blood And Guts Ten-Man Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: ***** — The night’s crescendo featured two elite teams locked in battle inside the steel, with stakes, emotion, and carnage at the center. From the opening bell, Darby Allin’s fearless style was quickly apparent, diving off the cage onto Garcia and Yuta. The Conglomeration worked cohesively, blending O’Reilly’s submissions, Briscoe’s brawling, and Cassidy’s unpredictable attacks. The Death Riders, led by the hard-hitting Castagnoli and Moxley, brought relentless violence, using every inch of the environment. PAC blistered Strong with kicks, while Wheeler Yuta used the cage itself for an innovative submission. As the action intensified, alliances strained—tables and chairs were introduced, and bodies flew into the steel mesh. In the match’s shocking climax, Orange Cassidy dodged Castagnoli’s offense, opening the door for Roderick Strong’s backbreaker parade, neutralizing the opposition. Darby Allin then soared off the cage one final time, crashing onto PAC and allowing Mark Briscoe to lock in a submission on Daniel Garcia for the tap-out. The emotional celebration in the aftermath cemented this battle as a classic, justifying its perfect rating.
