My Official Thoughts on the July 15th Episode of AEW Dynamite:

My Official Thoughts: It was a very solid episode of AEW Dynamite overall. The promo exchange between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay didn’t land for me, mainly because of Ospreay and that one quote in particular, and you know exactly which one I mean. On the other hand, the in-ring action throughout the show was excellent. Next week, Darby Allin will challenge for the AEW TNT Championship as Kevin Knight looks to retain the title. We’ll also get an All-Star Six-Man Tag Team Match, which should make for another exciting episode.

My Official Match Ratings for the July 15th AEW Dynamite Episode:

The Opening Match: Cage And Cope (Adam Copeland & Christian Cage) (c) vs. Death Riders (Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta) in an AEW World Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: **.50 — Below-Average AEW World Tag Team Title defense. I didn't really need this match whatsoever. I thought maybe Brodido would be a cool challenger for them, or even The Demand. It's like the Death Riders are chasing every title there is in this company, but this match was very below-average, and now at Redemption, the Death Riders A-Team, Claudio Castagnoli & PAC, will challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at that event.

The 2nd Match: Andrade El Idolo vs. Jake Doyle in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — How Do You Know? A fun little TV Match, as Andrade El Idolo got the win over his former stablemate, Jake Doyle. Now, because of that win, he'll be challenging for the AEW National Title at AEW Redemption against Mark Davis, which is going to be a very fun, hard-hitting match. I'm hoping Andrade manages to become the next AEW National Champion at the AEW Redemption Event.

The 3rd Match: Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) vs. Aaron Solo & Nick Comoroto in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: N/A — This was those typical squash matches to make a team's momentum grow stronger, and that's what this match did as the former AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido came away with the quick win as they took down Aaron Solo & Nick Comoroto in the process.

The 4th Match: Kyle Fletcher (with Lance Archer) (c) vs. Komander in an AEW International Title Match | The Match Rating: ****.75 — What an amazing match, and what an elite performance by Komander, who was the star of this match. There were so many moments in this match that wowed me. I do believe that with this performance, we could see more Komander on AEW Dynamite, which would be nice to see. What a way to kick it off for Kyle Fletcher as the AEW International Champion, having an amazing match like this, because this title reign is going to be filled with amazing matches like this every week, and I know we are in for a treat.

The 5th Match: Darby Allin vs. Brian Cage in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***.75 — Darby Allin getting the win wasn't a shock; with nothing next week, he's facing Kevin Knight for the AEW TNT Championship. Darby Allin could become a 4x AEW TNT Champion next week, but this match right here was alright, nothing too fancy. I knew before the match started that Darby Allin was going to get the win, but Darby Allin, I would assume, wins the AEW TNT Title next week on AEW Dynamite.

The Main Event Match: Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) & Mercedes Moné vs. Hyan, Maya World & Willow Nightingale in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: **** — This was a very fun Six-Woman Tag Team Main Event. I always enjoy seing WIllow Nightingale wrestle; she, in my opinion, is the next AEW Women's World Champion, but I liked how Hyan and Maya World performed in this match. In the end, they didn't manage to secure the win as the AEW Women's World Tag Team Champions; Divine Dominion and Mercedes MOné were able to come away with the win in the Main Event og this episode's AEW Dynamite.

My Official Match of the Night for the July 15th Episode of AEW Dynamite: Kyle Fletcher (with Lance Archer) (c) vs. Komander in an AEW International Title Match | The Match Rating: ****.75 — Komander delivered an incredible performance and was unquestionably the standout of this match. There were countless spots that completely blew me away. After showing out like this, I’m confident we’ll be seeing Komander on AEW Dynamite more often, which would be a huge plus for the show.

This was also the perfect way for Kyle Fletcher to begin his run as AEW International Champion, kicking things off with a match of this caliber. If this bout is any indication, his title reign is going to be stacked with must-see matches week after week, and fans are absolutely in for something special. Nights like this make the entire division feel big-time and can really set the tone for AEW moving forward.

My July 15th Official Episode Grade for AEW Dynamite: 7.25/10 (B-) — A very decent episode of AEW Dynamite. I thought the promo battle between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay wasn't good because of Will Ospreay because of that quote, and you know what I'm talking about. The in-ring material was very good. Next week we have Darby Allin challenging for the AEW TNT Title as Kevin Knight looks to defend that, and an All-Star Six-Man Tag Team Match.
