The January 28th Episode of AEW Dynamite — The Episode Preview:

• Andrade El Ídolo has a big task at hand as he'll be facing a former AEW World Champion in Swerve Strickland. This match came together recently and can be a show-stealer, but with Andrade stating he has some big goals, he can inch his way one step closer if he manages to defeat Swerve Strickland tonight on AEW Dynamite.

• FTR will be defending their AEW World Tag Team Titles against Davis and Doyle, who have been on a tear since the formation of this tag team. FTR has to be on their A-Game if they want to keep their AEW World Tag Team Titles because the hot momentum is on the side of Davis and Doyle. But who'll come out victorious, and will we see new AEW World Tag Team Champions?

• AEW World Champion MJF will be in Cedar Park, Texas, and will speak to the AEW Universe. Last week, Brody King went after the World Champion, so someone has their sights on the AEW World Champion. What'll transpire tonight with MJF, and will Brody King make an appearance again?

• Kenny Omega will fight another Don Callis Family Member as Rocky Romero will step inside the square circle against Kenny Omega tonight on AEW Dynamite.

• Kris Statlander has a big task at hand; she'll be defending her AEW Women's World Title against Triangle of Madness' own Thekla. Triangle of Madness has been making Kris Statlander's life a living hell, and tonight, Thekla has the chance to become AEW Women's World Champion if she manages to take down Kris Statlander.

• Mark Briscoe will defend his AEW TNT Title against Don Callis’s own El Clon. This is going to be an interesting match because El Clon can become the AEW TNT Champion tonight. You have to look at the numbers advantage. The Don Callis Family is everywhere and always sticks their nose into everything in AEW, so maybe tonight, with the help of the Don Callis Family, we can see a new AEW TNT Champion.

• Jon Moxley will be going up against one of the young talents on the AEW Roster in Ace Austin, as an Eliminator Match will be taking place tonight. This is a huge opportunity for Ace Austin to get a future shot at the AEW Continental Title if he wins tonight.
