The January 21st Episode of AEW Dynamite — The Episode Preview:

  • Swerve Strickland will main event against one of the brightest young stars AEW has to offer, AEW World Trios Champion Kevin Knight. This match will be a massive test for Knight, as he’s seen as the future of AEW, and this challenge will show whether he can swim with the sharks or sink. What will happen in tonight’s massive main event?

  • Kenny Omega is wrestling tonight against Don Callis’s family member and fellow Canadian, Josh Alexander. Omega has made it known he wants the AEW World Title, but he has a lot to do before he can earn that shot. Tonight against Alexander, he has a tough task at hand, as Alexander is more than capable of pulling off a huge upset.

  • AEW World Champion MJF will appear live in Orlando, Florida. After his grueling match against Bandido last week for the AEW World Title, he’s ready to speak his mind tonight. But will someone interrupt MJF?

  • Mike Bailey is riding high after winning the AEW World Trios Titles with Hangman Page and his JetSpeed tag team partner, Kevin Knight. But tonight, he has a big task ahead of him as he faces 2-time AEW World Champion Samoa Joe in a massive fight.

  • Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford are looking to gain much-needed momentum as they take on the Timeless Love Bombs in tag team action tonight.

  • The Death Riders’ own Daniel Garcia, Jon Moxley, and Wheeler Yuta will collide with members of the Don Callis Family, Hechicero, Lance Archer, and Rocky Romero in a Six-Man Tag Team Street Fight, as they get ready to tear up Orlando, Florida, tonight.

  • Triangle of Madness will respond to AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander’s challenge.

  • New signees Alec Price and Jordan Oliver will take on AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR tonight in their AEW debut, a massive match for the new signings.

  5. The Death Riders (Daniel Garcia, Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta) vs. The Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Lance Archer & Rocky Romero) in a Six-Man Tag Team Street Fight.

  6. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) vs. Alec Price & Jordan Oliver in a Tag Team Match.
