MJF and Kenny Omega will meet for the 2nd Time Ever, as in 2023 was their only match against one another on AEW Collision, when MJF was a good citizen in the world. But now MJF reverted to his chicken-shit self, with his nasty attitude as Kenny Omega is aiming for his 2nd AEW World Title reign as we're on Kenny Omega home country turf of Canada, as he has the home-field advantage tonight in the Main Event, the build for this event has been personal as even doctor notes have been reveal about Kenny Omega which make people to believe as MJF is going to try to end Kenny Omega tonight. One of the biggest matches in wrestling in 2026, as for the 2nd Time ever in AEW, we'll see The Devil himself, MJF, take on The God of Wrestling, Kenny Omega, in the Main Event of AEW Dynasty.
Jon Moxley and The Death Riders took out Will Ospreay in 2025 to end his year, damaging his neck in the process, in a brutal beatdown at Forbidden Door. Now we saw Will Ospreay make his return at AEW Revolution after Jon Moxley's match against Konosuke Takeshita, as Will Ospreay had debuted a much stronger psyche and has his eyes on Jon Moxley and the AEW Continental Title. Because of the number advantage, a lot of people expected Will Ospreay to have that downfall, but people forget about the Empire that Will Ospreay used to run, as The United Empire came to the aid of Will Ospreay, and they have Will Ospreay back. Tonight, Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay are in the same ring with the AEW Continental Title on the line on AEW Dynasty.
FTR did something not a lot of people have done: attack the wife of The Rated-R Superstar. Back at ALL OUT in Toronto, we saw the vicious attack on Beth Phoenix. This led Adam Copeland & Christian Cage to take a long hiatus. At AEW Revoltuion we saw after FTR Tag Title defense against The Young Bucks the return ofg Adam Copeland & Christian Cage as they targeted FTR, but now they are in their home-court with the home-field advantage one of the greatets tag teams in the history of wrestling aim to add the AEW World Tag Team Titles to their guy's resume as tonight FTR and Cage & Cope will battle it out, with this being high-stake blood-feud this is not only a title match this is personal as FTR has been making the life of Adam Copeland & Christian Cage life a living hell.
Jamie Hayter is having herself an AEW Women’s World Title Match against someone she’s. Very familiar with, and had run-ins with last year on AEW Television as Thekla, who has been the breakout star of AEW this year, is the AEW Women’s Wprld Champion as she’ll defend her title against the former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter who has been clawing trying to get back into this World Title picture, but tonight it’s her chance of becoming champion once again something she hasn’t. been since 2023. Now she looks to end that three-year streak tonight as she takes on one of Rival’s in Thekla.
Last night we saw brand new AEW World Trios Champions as The Dogs defeated JetSpeed and Mistico to become new champions, but afterwards Roderick Strong & Orange Cassidy issued the challenge for the titles, but also reveal their will be a mystery partner joining them tonight, who will it be? Is it someone we have seen with them? Someone who has been gone from AEW and returning tonight, or is a debut taking place? A lot of questions before this match, as we don’t know who will be helping Roderick Strong & Orange Cassidy, as they are in pursuit of the AEW World Trios Title, as they look to end The Dogs’ reign in less than twenty-four hours.
After Kyle Fletcher’s untimely injury, Tony Khan announced that the AEW TNT Title will be vacated as we crown a new AEW TNT Champion tonight at AEW Dynasty, as we have two qualified participants in the match, as Rush & Tommaso Ciampa have qualified for this match during AEW Dynasty & AEW Collision. Tommaso Ciampa wants to regain the title he had for only eleven days, and Rush hasn’t had AEW Singles Gold. But other participants will be added in this match; someone is walking out as the champion, but who will it be? Who will be crowned the face of TNT? We find out in tonight’s exciting Casino Gauntlet Match.
Let’s talk about drama. Tonight, the unlikely foes of Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita must team together by order of Don Callis. These two can’t stand each other as it was evident at this recent AEW Dynamite episode as both men were throwing hay-maker at one another as other memebrs of The Don Callis Family had to break up the brawl they take on one of the greatets Tag Team’s of all-time in The Young Bucks as they have a bone to pick with, as they defeated El Clon & Hechicero of the Don Callis Family on the recent episode of AEW Collisioon so they have the momentum and with the rift between Kazuchika Okada & Konosike Takeshita this is the best chance for the Young Bucks to take down their former friend in Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita who has been on the downswing of things.
Andrade El Idolo has another Paper-View Match as they look to continue that winning streak as he faces Darby Allin tonight. As noted weeks back, Darby Allin has wanted the AEW World Title. He even called out MJF, and had some face-to-face interactions with MJF's opponent in Kenny Omega, but sometimes a detour happens as Darby Allin wants to get near the AEW World Title, he has to take the man who defeated Kenny Omega & Swerve Strickland tonight. Can Darby Allin do it? Or will Andrade add some more stock into his name, taking down Darby Allin as Andrade as well has World Title aspirations for himself, as he had some back-and-forth words with MJF. A lot is going into this match tonight at AEW Dynasty.
Break The Walls Down, as the Return of Jericho occurred in his hometown of Winnepig, we haven’t seen Y2J in a year, but he returned after looming reports he would be heading to WWE. Now he’s back in the ring as the leader of The Demend. In Ricochet issued a challenge for Dynasty, in which Chris Jericho accepted. Chris Jericho will have his first match of 2026 against someone who has been running hotshot around AEW, and is now looking to take down the legend in Chris Jericho, who also returns to the List. Chris Jericho may be rusty in the ring, but you can’t ever count out the Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla as he looks to start his return run with a win tonight against Ricochet.
