Thoughts of the Paper View Live Event, AEW Full Gear in Newark, New Jersey:

Thoughts: A very safe - booked event I must say. Majority of the matches were very solid. I thought the right winners won each match I have no issues with that. I'm interested with World Ends with how Full Gear ended. but solid event.

AEW Paper View Live Event, AEW Full Gear in Newark, New Jersey Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Private Party (Quen & Zay) (c) vs. Kings of the Black Throne (Brody King & Malakai Black) vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) (with Billy Gunn) vs. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) in a Fatal - Four Way Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships - Match Rating: **.50 - This was the weakest match on the card. Private Party winning was the right call as they just won the belts back in October. Hoping they get some serious feuds after this match against some of the best teams in AEW.

2nd Match: MJF vs. Roderick Strong - Match Rating: *** - MJF made his return after being away filming Happy Gilmore Two. This match didn't do much for me. I kinda knew that MJF was gonna get the win because it was obvious with how the storyline been going with him & Roderick Strong. But it was an average style match.

3rd Match: Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Kris Statlander for the AEW TBS Championship - Match Rating: ****.50 - This was one of the best women's matches in AEW this year. This was my 2nd Favorite Match from Full Gear. This was the best Mercedes Mone looked in AEW since she debuted in the company back in Early March. Kris Statlander continues to show why she can have a great match with anybody as she's one of the best in the game today. Amazing Women's Match loved the fact it was given so much time. Now I hope they keep this up because this women's division is very good.

4th Match: Jay White vs. Adam Page - Match Rating: ***.75 - The Switchblade got the upper hand again as he defeats Adam Page again. This caught me by surprised because I thought Adam Page would get his win back but the master of the switchblades prevailed and now finally established himself again after returning.

5th Match: Kyle Fletcher vs. Will Ospreay - Match Rating: ****.75 - Match of the Show. This was the show stealer, and Kyle Fletcher is a made man now after beating Will Ospreay clean. I didn't expect him to win clean I thought members of the Don Callis Family would try to interfere and cause major issues but Kyle Fletcher got the win and now has established himself as one of the next young stars in the company.

6th Match: Jack Perry (c) vs. Daniel Garcia for the AEW TNT Championship - Match Rating: *** - The dreadful Jack Perry reign has ended. The Scapegoat Character has been a failure as it didn't click with fans and people didn't care. Daniel Garcia gets his major victory as he's the new AEW TNT Champion which I'm happy about because he's gonna make that title mean something again and be a great fighting babyface champion.

7th Match: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Ricochet for the AEW International Championship - Match Rating: ***.50 - Kinda bummed out this didn't live up to the hype because the build for this match was pretty solid and I thought this would've delivered but it didn't. If Ricochet wants to be a top guy he really gotta lock in and deliver in these performances because this wasn't it. Takeshita carried the match in my opinion but it felt slow, and sloppy, and even the crowd wasn't involved as they were mainly quiet throughout the match.

8th Match: Bobby Lashley (with MVP & Shelton Benjamin) vs. Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana) - Match Rating: ***.75 - Bobby Lashley came in and demolished Swerve Strickland. After the match he continued his assault. I love how Bobby Lashley being booked, and the presentation for him has been excellent he feels like a major threat, and unbeatable person in AEW. Swerve Strickland & him are far from over but this was a very fun match.

The Main Event Match: Jon Moxley (with Marina Shafir) (c) vs. Orange Cassidy for the AEW World Championship - Match Rating: ****.25 - Jon Moxley has a successful title defense against Orange Cassidy. After the match a bunch of chaos ensued as Adam Page, Jay White, Christian Cage, and Darby Allin appeared to end the show which has me interested for World's End is this gonna be the main event for that event?

AEW Paper View Live Event, AEW Full Gear in Newark, New Jersey Match of the Night: Kyle Fletcher vs. Will Ospreay - Match Rating: ****.75

AEW Paper View Live Event, AEW Full Gear in Newark, New Jersey Show Grade: 8.25/10 (B+) - It was a very fun event. The ending to Full Gear got me interested for Worlds End next month.
