Thoughts of the Paper View Live Event, AEW All Out in Chicago:

Thoughts: This was an outstanding show, there was three matches that I thought were five stars, this card had everything the violence, the drama, the storytelling, and betrayal it felt like a rollercoaster this event. I can't wait for Wednesday to see the aftermath of this event. Amazing Show.

AEW Paper View Live Event, AEW All Out in Chicago Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: MJF vs. Daniel Garcia - Match Rating: ****.25 -This was a fine opener, I thought this was a solid way to start the show off it was physical, they told a story in the ring, but at the end MJF got the victory over Daniel Garcia but not the last laugh as Daniel Garcia finally hit a avalanche pile-driver to MJF from the second rope. MJF may have won but Daniel Garcia was the one left the ring standing.

2nd Match: The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) (c) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castaganoli & Wheeler Yuta) for the AEW World Tag Team Championships - Match Rating: ***.50 - It was an okay tag team match with a solid two week build to it. I didn't expect BCC to win after they won the AEW Trios Titles at ALL IN. Claudio & Wheeler Yuta did great in this match, Claudio is one of the best in the world, and showed that in this match. But at the end the EVP's got the victory and still are champions.

3rd Match: Will Ospreay (c) vs. PAC for the AEW International Championship - Match Rating: ***** - What an amazing match, Will Ospreay has like five matches you can consider as AEW Match of the Year but what a match, the chemistry between these two is amazing. Will Ospreay I can say is one of the best of this generation he can have a match with a broom and turn it into a five star match. Also, gonna give PAC his flowers as he had a great performance here.

4th Match: Kris Statlander (with Stokley Hathaway) vs. Willow Nightingale in a Chicago Street Fight - Match Rating: ***** - Give it up to these ladies right here, they deserve all the praise, all the flowers, and all the attention with this show stealing street fight. They used everything, and what caught me by surprise was the light tubes. Kris Statlander had the upper hand and got the win over Willow Nightingale. But again these ladies killed it and I'm so proud how far this women's division came after barley getting attention to now getting all the spotlight, and banger matches very happy that the ladies are showing out, what a match.

5th Match: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Orange Cassidy in a Fatal - Four Way for the AEW Continental Championship: ***.25 - It was a decent match with a lot of fun spots, and near falls. I thought Konosuke Takeshita had a perfect opportunity to finally win some gold in AEW which has been long overdue but I think we have to wait a little longer. Mark Briscoe always knows how to entertain, and put on a show in these type of matches. Orange Cassidy showed out as well. I wish the title could've changed hands like it was the perfect opportunity to have Konosuke Takeshita to finally win some gold and beat Kazuchika Okada in the process which would've been a huge moment because around this time last year he beat "The Cleaner" in Kenny Omega. But again, decent match wish a title change happened but I guess we have to wait a little longer.

6th Match: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Hikaru Shida for the AEW TBS Championship - Match Rating: **.75 - A really big let down as I expected this match to really steal the show, and potentially be a match of the show candidate but instead it was the flop of the show. Hikaru Shida was sloppy in this match, there was plenty of moments where I was like what's going on, and Mercedes Moné had some moments of sloppiness in this match, I hope they can run it back as I think they can put together an amazing match. Huge let down and probably my least favorite match on the show.

7th Match: Bryan Danielson (c) vs. Jack Perry for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship - Match Rating: **** - Didn't have high expectations for this match, it was a decent match Jack Perry wasn't who I wanted to face Bryan Danielson but he did a solid job in the match, and Bryan Danielson in his first defense retains his AEW World Heavyweight Championship, then after the match his stablemates came out to celebrate as they were cheering on Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castaganoli blasted Bryan Danielson with an upper-cut, then Joe Moxley put a plastic bag over his face to suffocate Bryan Danielson which he indeed did, Wheeler Yuta crying in pain as he was held back by PAC while he sees his mentor, and friend being handled by his former stablemates from the Blackpool Combat Club. Bryan Danielson was taken out as Wheeler Yuta attended him, and Jon Moxley, Claudio Castaganoli, Marina Shafir, and PAC leaved through the crowd. Solid match, and amazing post - match stuff.

The Main Event Match: “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana) in a Lights Out Steel Cage Match - Match Rating: *****.25 - Sadistic, nasty, horrid, and gut wrenching. This match was like two men are trying their best to murder each other in the worst way possible. All four of the Hangman vs. Swerve Matches have been amazing. But I've to say Hangman Page demolished Swerve Strickland towards the hang of the match from sticking a needle in his face to the deadly chair shot to the head which caused the match to end. Swerve Strickland I assume gonna be written off for sometime but Hangman Page after the match embraced his heelish side, and finally acknowledges that he has to do whatever it takes to win and he did that. What a match, what a show, and what an ending.
