AEW Redemption Main Event: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Kevin Knight for the AEW World Championship.
The AEW Redemption Event Preview & What You Need To Know:
Kevin Knight is the AEW Best Young Prospect, also the current AEW TNT Champion. He had a change of attitude back at AEW Double or Nothing; ever since, he hasn’t looked back. He aligned with The Don Callis Family; now he’s main-eventing the first of many PPV’s in AEW. As the hometown kid, Kenny Omega is back in his Home Country of Canada as the AEW World Champion but faces the tough task of the youthful and exciting Kevin Knight as he looks to become a Double Champion tonight.
Willow Nightingale made her return at AEW Beach Break in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet No. 1 Contender’s Match. She now has the opportunity to win the AEW Women’s World Title and possibly face Mercedes Moné, but she has to face one of the best women’s wrestlers of 2026 in Thekla. It’ll be a hard task at hand tonight, but can Willow Nightingale get the title she hasn’t won in her AEW career, or will Thekla manage to retain to walk into ALL IN London as Champion?
Bandido has had a lot of opportunities this year; there is another big chance for the ROH World Champion as on AEW Dynamite the team of Brodido took on Don Callis Family and got the win over Kazuchika Okada and Kyle Fletcher. Hence, the momentum is on the side of Bandido, as we could see him become Double Champion tonight at AEW Redemption.
How Do You Know? Andrade El Idolo turned on The Don Callis Family as he broke away from the group. Now he has a numbers advantage, but it seems not to be working in favor of The Don Callis Family, as Andrade has been finding ways to pull away with some wins. But tonight he faces the AEW National Champion Mark Davis in what should be a hard-hitting fight tonight as Andrade looks to win his First Singles Title in AEW Tonight at AEW Redemption.
After her amazing performance at Forbidden Door, Maya World has the chance to be the Youngest TBS Champion in AEW History as she looks to take on the 4x AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida, who’s the holder of the TBS Championship. Maya World has been the breakout star of AEW’s Women’s Division as she stood toe-to-toe with Mercedes Moné in the Finals of the Owen Hart Women’s Tournament also clinching her spot at AEW ALL IN London for the Women’s World Title but now she has a chance to win gold against one of the best Women’s Wrestlers and most accomplished Women’s Wrestlers in AEW Hisyory in Hikaru Shida tonight.
Adam Copeland and Christian Cage already got done with The Dogs; now they have some tough challengers in the Death Riders, Claudio Castagnoli & PAC, as they challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Titles as they look to bring back some gold to the Death Riders. Will they be able to do it tonight?
The Death Riders have been stronger than ever, and they officially added Will Ospreay to the Death Riders as tonight the AEW Continental Champion, Jon Moxley, with Will Ospreay, take on The Young Bucks. We saw a preview on the Go-Home of AEW Dynamite where they brawled at the end of the show as Kenny Omega was conflicted. But tonight, this match will also show the new aggression that Will Ospreay has slowly shown since aligning with the Death Riders. Tonight, this can play a big momentum gain or drop for Will Ospreay as he has a detour before his Main Event of ALL IN London.
We need to find a next challenger for either Bandido or Kyle Fletcher for the AEW International Title. So tonight, in this Six-Way Ladder Match, we have The Beast Mortos. El Clon, Mike N Bailey, Jack Perry, Komander, and Nick Wayne. A match where a lot of high-flyers and wrestlers returning to claim the opportunity to challenge for the AEW International Championsip who’ll climb to the top to secure themselves a future AEW International Title shot?
The Painmaker Jericho is back. The gimmick we once saw in NJPW is now in AEW, as Psycho Ciampa is ready in-store for what he’ll be dealing with tonight in Painmaker Jericho as they battle in a No Holds Barred Match tonight at Redemption, as Jericho, in his Home Country of Canada, looks to come away with the win tonight.
The Bang Bang Gang is fully back as Jay White made his return, costing The Dogs a chance at the AEW World Tag Team Titles at AEW Forbidden Door, as now The Dogs had have enough of this and in a Double Chain Tag Team Match which will be violent, and could shorten careers tonight as we look to see who the better team will prevail tongiht in this dog fight.

My Official Match Predictions for AEW Redemption:
AEW Redemption is tonight; the card is shaping up to deliver a compelling mix of championship stakes and high-profile clashes. Here are my official predictions for tonight’s event.
AEW World Championship Match: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Kevin Knight Obviously, I have Kenny Omega winning, but I expect near-falls, interference from The Don Callis Family, including another amazing Kevin Knight performance to push the fact that by next year he’ll hopefully become AEW World Champion, but this might be the Match of the Night; I have it at a five-star ceiling for this match.
AEW Women's World Championship Match: Thekla (c) vs. Willow Nightingale
I hope tonight is the crowning of Willow Nightingale, as she could become the next AEW Women’s World Champion, ending the great reign that Thekla produced this year. Willow Nightingale, I do think it’s time for her to get the AEW Women’s World Title. I expect this to be a very good match, but I have Willow Nightingale come out on top tonight.
AEW International Championship Match: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Bandido
I’ve a shocker happening: I have Bandido winning this now; hear my reasoning with tension boiling for the title. I expect Konosuke Takeshita costing Kyle Fletcher because their pending 2nd Match doesn’t need a title; it would be heated as its own Singles Match. But I have Bandido winning this match to become the new AEW International Champion.
AEW National Championship Match: Mark Davis (c) vs. Andrade El Idolo
This match has Andrade winning all over it. We have Grand Slam Mexico coming up. I expect AEW to either have Andrade walk in as Champion or have him in a marquee match against someone, but with how everything has been going, feuding with The Don Callis Family, I have Andrade favored heavily in this match.
AEW TBS Championship Match: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Maya World
Maya World’s birthday is today, mixed in with the fact that she has an AEW TBS Championship Match. I have her winning tonight, as her holding the AEW TBS Title would elevate her more and have her have great matches. If she manages to beat Hikaru Shida, she will be the youngest AEW TBS Champion. I do hope Maya World gets the win tonight.
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Cage And Cope (Adam Copeland & Christian Cage) (c) vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli & PAC) In this match, I expect Adam Copeland and Christian Cage to retain. I do expect a heavy physical match involving the Death Riders. But I do see them retaining, as I don't expect them to lose the titles just yet after winning them at AEW Double or Nothing.
Tag Team Match: Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Will Ospreay) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson)
I wouldn’t be shocked if either team wins, but I have The Young Bucks getting the win to cause a rift in the Death Riders between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay. I do think The Young Bucks will get the win tonight at AEW Redemption.
AEW International Championship No. 1 Contender's Six-Way Ladder Match: The Beast Motros vs. El Clon vs. Jack Perry vs. Komander vs. Mike Bailey vs. Nick Wayne
Now this right here could be a show-stealer. I do have Mike Bailey getting the win to become a No. 1 Contender for the AEW International Championship. In his home country, he can have a special moment as he inches closer to the AEW International Championship.
No Holds Barred Match: Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa
I think, noting Jericho has been doing a blast-from-the-past gimmick as his career is winding down, I don’t expect him to lose two in a row to Tommaso Ciampa. Now I would hope Tommaso Ciampa wins. But I do expect Painmaker Jericho to get the win tonight.
Double Chain Tag Team Match: Bang Bang Gang (Jay White & Juice Robinson) vs. The Dogs (Clark Connors & David Finlay)
The Switchblade is back, with his Main Man, Juice Robinson, in a Double Chain Tag Team Match. I do expect the Bang Bang Gang to get the win over The Dogs.
