My Thoughts on AEW Revolution:

My Thoughts: This was a great event by AEW. Their PPVs are always must-watch, and I believe they've been on the hottest streak in company history. This show had everything you would want. The only issue I have is that they had 10 matches. I would like 7 matches per event. Because these matches are too much, and the shows are dragging. Nevertheless, this was a great event.

AEW Revolution — My Official Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) (with Stokley) (c) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) in an AEW World Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: ****.75 — 2nd Best Match from this show. Mind you, we kicked off AEW Revolution with this banger. The Young Bucks came out in Lakers Colors, and FTR came out in Boston Celtics colors. The in-ring was phenomenal, just a lot of intense moments, and a lot of near-falls, but when it came down to it, FTR pulled away with the win. But we all thought everything was done, we saw the returns of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage as they're back and coming for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. This was such an amazing match, with a great aftermath.

The 2nd Match: Toni Storm vs. Marnia Shafir in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: **.25 — I'm not a huge fan of Marnia Shafir; she doesn't move me in any way, but since Toni Storm was in this, I expected a passable match, and we got that. I didn't feel this match was needed on this card; it could've been on Dynamite, and people wouldn't have complained. But the issue with this match is that Marnia Shafir isn't good. I don't know how she's getting more opportunities than certain other AEW Women's wrestlers who are more talented than Marnia Shafir. But Toni Storm won, then we saw the return of washed-up Ronda Rousey, which even left a poor taste in my mouth, so she’s with the Death Riders? Just a mess.

The 3rd Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita in an AEW Continental Title No Time Limit Match | The Match Rating: ****.50— I really needed Konosuke Takeshita to win this because he's had a really odd start to the year. But with no time limit, I thought this match was going to be thirty to forty minutes long, but I was wrong. It started slowly, like a lot of Jon Moxley’s matches. This felt like an NJPW-style match. But then the pace picked up as both men went at it hard in this match. There were many moments where I felt Konosuke Takeshita was finally going to do it, but it didn’t happen as he passed out to lose to Jon Moxley, which I felt was the wrong choice. Then we saw Will Ospreay make his long-awaited return to attack Jon Moxley, who took him out of action, so we know what Jon Moxley’s direction is now.

The 4th Match: Babes Of Wrath (Harley & Willow Nightingale) (c) vs. Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) in an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: ** — I generally am happy Megan Bayne & Lena Kross are the champions because they'll rock as the faces of that division. This match would've received a better reception on Dynamite, since the crowd wasn't interested. I thought the obvious Willow Nightingale being banged up after her match earlier made it realistic for her to lose because she wasn't 100%. Now she can focus on being the AEW TBS Champion and rock out in that division. For Harley Cameron, I don't know what's next for her, but I think she’d be better as a lower-card act who does comedy.

The 5th Match: Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana) defeated Brody King in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 — Whose House? Swerve Strickland, with his badass character change, is going to take down Brody King. This was a fun mid-match in the PPV. Because Swerve Strickland was going out to try to end Brody King, which he tried to do on many occasions, as we saw with the Vertebreaker onto the concrete, hitting the House Call, and doing anything it took to end Brody King once and for all. I thought this was well done. Good to see Kenny Omega return, and to start the build with a Heel Swerve Strickland. Can't wait to see where it goes.

The 6th Match: Thekla (c) vs. Kris Statlander in an AEW Women’s World Title Best Two Out Of Three Falls Match | The Match Rating: **** — Thekla is such a superstar. How she comes off, she is a must-see. This match, I was excited to see Kris Statlander try to regain the AEW Women's World Title, but she came up short in this very fun Two Out of Three Falls Match. Thekla took the first fall with some dirty tactics, grabbing the rope to secure it. Kris Statlander got her first pin-fall to tie it all up. The ending of the match was well-written, as Thekla is still our AEW Women's World Champion. Now that her feud with Kris Statlander is over, we can focus on what's next for her in her title reign.

The 7th Match: The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) (c) vs. JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) & Místico in an AEW World Trios Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.75 — An insane match, I was very confused on why Don Callis won the titles on Wednesday to lose them back very confusing booking, but other than that, this was a very fun and well-done Trios Title Match. Very glad JetSpeed are back as champions with Místico with them. Also, it was very cool to see Místico is now All Elite, with everyone cheering. I watched that man as a kid when he was Sin Cara, and then saw his resurgence in CMLL. Now he's at the 2nd-largest company in the World, and everyone is happy for him. Hope we see some fun matches from him in AEW.

The 8th Match: Andrade El Ìdolo vs. Bandido in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***** — My Match of the Night was what I was waiting for. Bandido is my favorite in AEW right now, and with Andrade being the beast he was, this match was worth it. Andrade and Bandido both took their pants off to wear the trunks. The in-ring action was excellent. This was such a joy to watch. Why can't we have them fight for the AEW World Title already? This is something I've been waiting for, but this was amazing. Both are the best in the world today, can't wait tos ee what both of these men do next in AEW.

The 9th Match: Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong vs. The Dogs (Clark Connors, David Finlay & Gabe Kidd) in a Tornado Six-Man Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: **** — The only issue I have with this is that The Dogs lost, because David Finlay just joined AEW. I didn't feel like it was time for him to lose already. But this was a good match leading up to the show's Main Event. I thought everyone played their role well in this match, and now Gabe Kidd and Darby Allin will end the feud in a Coffin Match at AEW Dynamite.

The Main Event Match: MJF (c) vs. Adam Page in an AEW World Title Texas Death Match | The Match Rating: ****.50 — It didn't need to be 45 minutes. I felt like a good 30-minute match would've been fine; this match was extreme. There was everything you could ask for. Adam Page put up his deal: if he loses, he will never battle for the AEW World Title again, which is still wild to me. MJF was in his Terry Funk-inspired gear, doing much of the craziest work. The ending of this match was sick, and MJF was well-calculated in his actions. In the end, Hangman Page lost, and now he won't ever battle for the AEW World Title. MJF is the Wrestler of the Year as of now.

AEW Revolution  — The Match of the Night: Andrade El Ìdolo vs. Bandido in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***** — Amazing, this right here is why I love professional wrestling so much. These types of matches make me enjoy wrestling; these two tore it up big-time.

AEW Revolution — The Event Grade: 9.25/10 (A) — This was an amazing event, the only problem is why does this show always have to be six hours long? Please trim the matches to be seven for each show, not everything needs to be on the show, but this was a lot of fun, and glad I watched this during my birthday.
