Thoughts on the December 4th, Edition of AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Show:
Thoughts: A very solid episode all around. One of the better Dynamites in recent time I love the fact they further the Jon Moxley story against Jay White, Orange Cassidy, and Hangman Page. I enjoyed the Continental Classic Matches I really wanted Shelton Benjamin to get three more points but at - least he was protected even in defeat. But I need more of this weekly the way they pace the show and had some story - telling mixed with great action is what needs to be consistent each and every week. When AEW really locks in and focus they produce solid episodes and this was an example of that and it needs to continue.
The December 4th, Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Kyle Fletcher [3] vs. Shelton Benjamin [3] in the Continental Classic 2024 Blue League - Match Rating: **** - I'm not really into the Kyle Fletcher hype. But this was a solid match. I thought Shelton Benjamin should've won but I liked that Kyle Fletcher cheated to get the win so in a sense they protected Shelton Benjamin which I liked a lot because I didn't wanna see Shelton Benjamin lose clean I rather have him lose in a cheating fashion by Kyle Fletcher to keep his credibility as this badass member from The Hurt Syndicate.
2nd Match: Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. Action Andretti (with Leila Grey) vs. Brian Cage vs. Dante Martin vs. Darius Martin vs. Evil Uno vs. Lance Archer vs. Lio Rush vs. Mark Davis vs. Rocky Romero vs. The Butcher in the Dynamite Dozen 2024 Battle Royal - Match Rating: DUD - Garbage is the word I'll describe this match. This Adam Cole & KOR storyline isn't good I don't know if they tryna to. This is one of the worst storylines in wrestling today. The stocks for Adam Cole has dropped so much because of the poor matches he has been putting on and the material he been working with has been awful that no one cares about the story and everyone just wants it to end. The whole story with MJF makes no sense now because Adam Cole was the one who stabbed MJF in the back and now he's a face & MJF the heel? Should just scrap the whole Undisputed Kingdom stuff and write off Adam Cole and have him return in couple months so this stinky storyline can wear off everybody.
3rd Match: Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana) vs. Max Caster - Match Rating: N/A - This was a squash match which was expected. Not a huge fan of Max Caster so I was happy to see Swerve Strickland hitting a Swerve Stomp onto Max Caster.
4th Match: Jay White vs. PAC (with Wheeler Yuta) - Match Rating: ***.50 - Jay White being on the best run of his AEW Career. I like how he's racking these wins has been established in the Main Event scene once again. Now he has defeated PAC. The Death Riders have been a menacing stable for a month or two now and Jay White has a big task as he eyes the AEW World Championship.
5th Match: Anna Jay vs. Penelope Ford - Match Rating: **.50 - A very decent bout. Anna Jay has improved a lot and you can tell she made a lot of effort to make herself get better at wrestling as her going to Japan really helped her a lot and it rewarded her with some title matches as now she'll be facing Mercedes Mone in couple weeks for the AEW TBS Championship.
The Main Event Match: Claudio Castagnoli [3] vs. Brody King [3] in the Continental Classic 2024 Gold League Match - Match Rating: ****.25 - A solid way to end the show. Claudio Castagnoli used a dirty tactic to get the win with a kick below the belt as he got three more points. Brody King needs to have a monster push in 2025 as he been one of the underrated acts in AEW for quite some time.

The December 4th, Edition of AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Show Grade: 7.75/10 (B-) - A very solid episode of AEW Dynamite. This needs to be the norm on how the show should be made & paced but maybe add 1 - 2 more Women’s Matches to further the development of the AEW Women’s Division.
