Thoughts on the October 16th, Edition of AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Show:

Thoughts: This episode was average the match of the night was Shelton Benjamin vs. Lio Rush the whole show was kinda Jon Moxley and his group terrorizing everyone on the AEW Roster. The cool thing we saw was Mercedes Mone vs. Queen Aminata which was a fine match. Overall average show outside of two solid matches.

The October 16th, Edition of AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Hardwood) vs. The Learning Tree (Big Bill & Bryan Keith) - Match Rating: ** - This was an okay opening match. FTR got the win over The Learning Tree which was okay I guess but The Outrunners came out and the crowd popped for that but I'm thinking sooner than later FTR will turn on The Outrunners and start a feud with them to maybe help elevate The Outrunners even more.

2nd Match: Mercedes Mone (with Kamille) (c) vs. Queen Aminata for the AEW TBS Championship - Match Rating: ***.50 - Very decent title defense the chemistry between these two was very evident and it was nice to see Queen Aminata get a chance to fight for the AEW TBS Championship.

3rd Match: The Conglomeration (Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy & Rocky Romero) vs.The Elite (Kazuchika Okada, Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) - Match Rating: N/A - This match wasn't all that it was the after match stuff that was entertaining where Jon Moxley & his group came and attacked everyone in their sight as The Elite just watched from the ramp and did nothing about it.

4th Match: Shelton Benjamin (with MVP) vs. Lio Rush (with Leila Grey) - Match Rating: ****.25 - This was much a fun match. The Gold Standard Shelton Benjamin balled the hell out in this match. He looked like he didn't miss a step whatsoever and I'm very happy he's in a good position in AEW, in WWE he was only used on WWE Main Event even tho he can still go in the ring. But Lio Rush had a great showing it was cool to see him face Shelton Benjamin, but I would love Lio Rush in The Hurt Syndicate. But overall great match and can't wait for Swerve Strickland vs. Shelton Benjamin & wonder if Bobby Lashley debuts then.

The Main Event Match: Christian Cage (with Mother Wayne & Nick Wayne) vs. Jay White (with Colten Gunn & Juice Robinson) - Match Rating: **.75 - This match could've been a lot better but the outside chaos. Seeing Nick Wayne get dragged away by members of the Bang Bang Gang. Then we concluded the chaos with Hangman Page blasting Jay White and helping Christian Cage get the win.

The October 16th, AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Match of the Night: Shelton Benjamin (with MVP) vs. Lio Rush (with Leila Grey) - Match Rating: ****.25

October 16th, Edition of AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Show Grade: 6.25/10 (C) - An okay episode the highlight for me was Shelton Benjamin vs. Lio Rush. But other than that average episode of AEW Dynamite.
