The AEW WrestleDream Event Preview & What You Need To Know:

• The AEW World Championship main event is the show's biggest selling point. Ospreay faces seven challengers in a new match concept that combines timed entries with a scoring period. The story isn't simply whether Ospreay can beat one opponent; it's whether he can outlast an entire field of elite competitors. Samoa Joe's power, Okada's experience, Ricochet's athleticism, and Darby Allin's willingness to put his body on the line give the champion different problems to solve.

• This championship clash offers a contrast in personalities and approaches. Moné enters as the established champion, while Thekla has the opportunity to turn her challenge into a career-defining moment. The key question is whether Moné can control the match on her terms or whether Thekla can disrupt her rhythm and capitalize on an opening.

• The two-out-of-three-falls stipulation raises the stakes for the AEW World Trios Championship. The defending side must prepare for a match that may require adjustments after the opening fall, while Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King have an opportunity to exploit weaknesses over a longer contest. The tension between Swerve and Hangman adds another layer to the championship picture.

• The Young Bucks bring championship experience to a matchup against two athletes looking to establish themselves at the top of the tag-team division. Fletcher's explosiveness and Knight's speed give the challengers the tools to create problems, but defeating an experienced team requires more than athletic ability: they must maintain their timing and avoid costly mistakes.

• Davis enters with a chance to translate his recent momentum into a championship victory. Moxley, meanwhile, must deal with an opponent capable of making the contest physical and uncomfortable. The longer Davis can impose his style, the more pressure he can put on the champion.

• Andrade's National Championship defense brings together two accomplished in-ring competitors. Ciampa has the opportunity to make an immediate statement by taking the title, while Andrade needs to demonstrate that he can continue delivering against high-level opposition.

• A four-way championship match introduces uncertainty because the champion doesn't have to be beaten directly by every opponent to lose the title. Hyan, Dani Luna, and Queen Aminata each have a route to victory, and one well-timed intervention could change the outcome.

• Their third encounter gives the rivalry a decisive feel. Wayne has a chance to prove himself against a veteran with a long history in the business, while Jericho has the opportunity to halt the younger wrestler's momentum. The personal stipulation surrounding an apology adds consequences beyond the match result.
