My Official Review of the October 30th Episode of Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown:

My Official Review: This was an awful episode; I don’t even want to get started with Chelsea Green and Nikki Bella’s WWE Women’s Title Match. One of the worst matches, or the worst match, of 2026 in Professional Wrestling. I think this was an awful performance by both women. Also, for the one millionth time, we saw Tiffany Stratton try to cash in, but for the 100th time, it failed as The Judgement Day fought back and saved Liv Morgan. At least in an awful episode, we had an awesome match between Rey Fenix and Ricky Saints in an AAA World Cruiserweight Title Match. Rey Fenix’s 13th Title Defense in his five-month reign, which has been a spectacular title reign. We saw that CM Punk and Kevin Owens next week on the Pre-Taped Episode of SmackDown will be a No Holds Barred match, which will be a great match next week. But we also saw Jade Cargill defeat Tatum Paxley, which was a below-average match, and that feud has been dragging on forever. Can we get new material for everyone involved in this feud? Then the Danhausen segment, where the Demon Finn Balor appeared, was a cool spot as Gunther destroyed Danhausen and the Minihausens, and Finn Balor destroyed Gunther. Gunther needs a major reset in 2027, one of the worst years of his career. Please, we need Gunther to have a World Title by next year; this is pathetic how they booked him. The Main Event was what I was most excited about, but what a flop. WWE ruined this, and Sami Zayn retained his Undisputed WWE Title against Trick Williams. Just an awful episode of SmackDown. They really gave in to the Spooky Night because this was a spooky mess.

My Official Match Ratings for the October 30th Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown Episode:

The Opening Match: Chelsea Green (c) vs. Nikki Bella in a WWE Women’s Title Match | My Match Rating: DUD — The Worst Match of Professional Wrestling in 2026. This match had no good moments and was very sloppy. Chelsea Green's WWE Women's Title run has been one of the worst runs I've ever seen in my life, and I watched Jinder Mahal's WWE Championship run in 2017. This was awful; there was not even the slightest moment where I said, " Oh, that's a very good spot. Even when Chelsea Green retained, we saw Liv Morgan confront Chelsea Green, and guess what happened next... Tiffany Stratton attempted to cash in for the 100th time on Liv Morgan, but before that, The Judgement Day's Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez saved Liv Morgan as the segment ended. Just all-around terrible stuff.

The 2nd Match: Rey Fenix (c) vs. Ricky Saints in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title Match | My Match Rating: ****.25 — In five months, Rey Fenix defended the AAA World Cruiserweight Title 13 times. What a run by Rey Fenix. I remember during this time last year he was floundering while Penta was climbing the ranks. Great to see Rey Fenix finish off this good feud with Ricky Saints, as they delivered a hell of a match as Rey Fenix finally ends this chapter and moves past him. As for Ricky Saints, what's next? He came onto the main roster failing to capture the WWE United States Title and the AAA World Cruiserweight Title. Can we see a new darker turn in his character after failing multiple times to capture a title in AAA and WWE?

The 3rd Match: Jade Cargill (with B-Fab & Michin) vs. Tatum Paxley (with Alexa Bliss) in a Singles Match | My Match Rating: ** — Tatum Paxley losing doesn't bother me; this was very okay to below-average. The match had some solid moments. I thought that Jade Cargill looked decent at times. I don't think she's awful in the ring; she has made some noticeable strides to become a better performer, and it's very evident, so I'll always be rooting for her. Tatum Paxley came up short at the end. My only issue is that this feud has been ongoing, I feel like, for almost a year. I want B-Fab, Jade Cargill & Michin to do other stuff in the WWE Women's Division. For example, I enjoyed the Jade Cargill and Jordynne Grace feud for the WWE Women's Title. Stuff like that is enjoyable. I hope this feud ends. Even if The Baddies do a feud with Fatal Influence, that would be very enjoyable if creative gets their head out their ass and gives us something enjoyable on the Women's Side for SmackDown.

The Main Event Match: Sami Zayn (with Candice LeRae & Johnny Gargano) (c) vs. Trick Williams (with Lil Yachty) in an Undisputed WWE Title No Disqualification Match | My Match Rating: **.50 —Very upset by this; I wanted a clean match, so Trick Williams could show what he's capable of in the Undisputed WWE Title Match. But it's the SmackDown creative; they love ruining everything. I was very disinterested, and this was one of the poor matches of an amazing 2026 for Sami Zayn. For Trick Williams, I still think he'll be a World Champion, but I didn't get a true assessment in the moment because he wasn't given a proper match, which sucks; then on top of that, they made it a No DQ Match, which didn't help either.

My Official Match of the Night for the October 30th Episode of Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown: Rey Fenix (c) vs. Ricky Saints in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title Match | My Match Rating: ****.25 —  Rey Fenix defended the AAA World Cruiserweight Title 13 times in five months, a remarkable run. Last year, he was struggling while Penta rose through the ranks, so it’s great to see him cap off his feud with Ricky Saints in a fantastic match and move on.

What’s next for Saints? After falling short in bids for both the WWE United States and AAA World Cruiserweight titles, could repeated setbacks spark a darker character turn?

My Official Highlight of the Show for the October 30th Episode of Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown: Rey Fenix and Ricky Saints Stole the Show — The only good thing from this episode was the performance that was on display by Rey Fenix and Ricky Saints as they tore the house down in the Match of the Night. Ricky Saints suffered the loss, as he presumably lost the feud, but in the end I think this feud showed a lot of range for Ricky Saints on the main roster. Now I wonder what he does next. Now, for Rey Fenix, he should be the next WWE United States Champion. It was a very good match; very happy with how this feud ended.

My October 30th Official Episode Grade for Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown: 2/10 (F) — This was an awful episode, especially Chelsea Green and Nikki Bella’s WWE Women’s Title Match, one of 2026’s worst. Both women performed poorly. Tiffany Stratton tried to cash in yet again, but The Judgment Day stopped her and saved Liv Morgan. The highlight was Rey Fenix vs. Ricky Saints for the AAA World Cruiserweight Title. Fenix scored his 13th defense in a spectacular five-month reign. Next week’s pre-taped SmackDown will feature CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match. Jade Cargill also beat Tatum Paxley in a below-average match, extending their stale feud. Can they give everyone involved new material? The Danhausen segment was a cool spot: Demon Finn Balor appeared, Gunther destroyed Danhausen and the Minihausens, then Balor took out Gunther. Gunther needs a major reset in 2027; this has been one of his worst career years. He needs a World Title by next year; his booking is pathetic. I was most excited for the main event, but it flopped. WWE ruined it, and Sami Zayn retained his Undisputed WWE Title against Trick Williams. Just an awful SmackDown, a spooky mess for Spooky Night.

Next Week Announced Appearances, Matches & Segments for the November 6th Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Brooklyn, New York, USA, Live on the USA Network:
