The Opening Match: The Elite (Matthew Jackson, Kazuchika Okada & Nichloas Jackson) defeated Kenny Omega, Kevin Knight, Mark Briscoe & Mike Bailey in an Eight-Man Tag Team Match | Pin-Fall | (26:25)

2nd Match: The Opps (Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs & Samoa Joe) defeated Myles Hawkins, Nick Comoroto & Rhett Titus in a Six-Man Tag Team Match | Pin-Fall | (03:24)

3rd Match: Toni Storm (with Luther) [c] defeated Miyu Yamashita in an AEW Women’s Championship Eliminator Match | Pin-Fall | (09:23)

4th Match: Nick Wayne (with Christian Cage, Mother Wayne & Kip Sabian) defeated Jay Lethal in a Singles Title Match for the ROH World Television Championship | Pin-Fall | (09:17) - TITLE RETAINED!!!!

The Main Event Match: Adam Page defeated Kyle Fletcher (with Lance Archer) in the Owen Hart Men’s Foundation Tournament Semi-Final Match | Pin-Fall | (23:24)

My Thoughts on the May 30th Episode of Wednesday Night AEW Dynamite:

My Thoughts: This was a great episode of AEW. I thought the matches on the show were fun, especially the Opener and Main Event Match. I like the progressions in the storylines and Double or Nothing builds have been going very strong with the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament for the Men's and Women's divisions coming to a conclusion at the event, so we see who will be the challengers for the belts at ALL IN: Texas.

The Opening Match: The Elite (Matthew Jackson, Kazuchika Okada & Nichloas Jackson) vs. Kenny Omega, Kevin Knight, Mark Briscoe & Mike Bailey in an Eight-Man Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ****.50 | This was an amazing opener. What an all-star tag-team match involving The Elite and Ricochet on one side with Kenny Omega, Mark Briscoe, Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey on the other. The sequences in this match were insane. The Young Bucks looked great in this match. Kevin Knight has been making every chance he gets and delivering. There was the Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada showdown, which was neat. This was a very good match and I enjoyed every second of it.

2nd Match: The Opps (Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs & Samoa Joe) defeated Myles Hawkins, Nick Comoroto & Rhett Titus in a Six-Man Tag Team Match | Match Rating: N/A | This was a squash match for the pps. After the match, Death Riders made their appearance and took out the members of The Opps. Samoa Joe ends it with a promo at the AEW World Champion, whom he’s facing in two weeks in a Steel Cage for the AEW World Championship.

3rd Match: Toni Storm (with Luther) [c] vs. Miyu Yamashita in an AEW Women’s Championship Eliminator Match | Match Rating: *** | Good to see Miyu in AEW. This match was very solid. Toni Storm, after the match, was confronted by Mercedes Moné, and then Jamie Hayter proceeded to come out and start an attack on Mercedes Moné, who she'll be facing at AEW Double or Nothing.

4th Match: Nick Wayne (with Christian Cage, Mother Wayne & Kip Sabian) vs. Jay Lethal in a Singles Title Match for the ROH World Television Championship | Match Rating: **.50 | A very average match. I get the story they're telling with Nick Wayne, as that slow burn has started with everyone turning on Christian Cage eventually. The match was very mediocre. Nick Wayne has always been okay to me in the ring. I never thought he was all that. Jay Lethal was defeated as he had a rare match on AEW Dynamite.

The Main Event Match: Adam Page vs. Kyle Fletcher (with Lance Archer) in the Owen Hart Men’s Foundation Tournament Semi-Final Match | Match Rating: ****.75 | This was a solid Main Event Match. Hangman Page punched his ticket to the final round of the Owen Hart Tournament as he'll be facing Will Ospreay in the finals. Kyle Flecther was amazing in this match. He's one of the top people in AEW since the start of 2025. He has gotten jacked and also more confident in his ability, which is great. I loved the double Buckshot Lariat by Hangman Page to secure the win.

The April 30th | Episode of Wednesday Night AEW Dynamite | Episode Grade: 8.25/10 (B+) | What an episode of Dynamite. I thought this show delivered, and I’m excited for the road to Double or Nothing.
