Thoughts on the October 7th, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW Show:

Thoughts: A very odd episode in terms of pacing but there was two great matches mixed with two below average matches. I really hope they go back to three hours because Triple H did perfected that format. I feel like with two hours sometimes there are moments in the show where it feels rushed. But overall solid episode of RAW and next week show looks very decent. One more thing I hope the ladies get a lot of time to shine because the RAW Women's Roster is very stacked.

The October 7th, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Jey Uso (c) vs. Xavier Woods (with Kofi Kingston) for WWE Intercontinental Championship - Match Rating: *.50 - Not a good first title defense for Jey Uso as this match was very short a Triple H booked championship match because the matches would be very long and start to pick up mid - way. But this match felt super rushed and afterwards Bron Breakker tricked everyone and is still a heel as he continue to regain his WWE Intercontinental Championship back from Jey Uso in the near future.

2nd Match: Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne in a Good Ol' Fashioned Donnybrook Match - Match Rating: **** - A great way to end a feud. Sheamus has been one of the best TV Wrestlers this year his feuds with Ludwig Kaiser & Pete Dunne have been very entertaining and great television. Pete Dunne has reestablished himself in this feud as a cocky, rebellious, and hungry heel who looks for anything to make a name for himself. I really hope Pete Dunne can continue to appear on TV after this feud because I felt like this feud helped him to back as a threat especially for that stacked Mid - Card Division. But great match and I had fun watching this.

3rd Match: Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, Lyra Valkyria, Natalya, & Zelina Vega vs. Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville & Zoey Stark) & The Unholy Union (Alba Frye & Isla Dawn) in a Ten - Women Tag Team - Match Rating: ** - This felt rushed because of how the pacing of the show was going. But Lyra Valkyria got the victory for her team which was nice to see but I really hope the ladies on RAW get a lot of time for the temporary two hour time slot for RAW.

The Main Event Match: Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Match Rating: ****.25 - This was a great main event. These two always showed great chemistry when in the ring together. Sami Zayn was kicking out of everything, and had an amazing fighting spirit spot that popped me. But Gunther prevailed and got the win. I wonder what's next for Sami Zayn only thing I see is him being in The Bloodline story for the pending WarGames match that's rumor to take place next month. But Gunther continues to have amazing matches don't recall the last time he had a bad match.

The October 7th, WWE Monday Night RAW Match of the Night: Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Match Rating: ****.25

October 7th, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW Show Grade: 7/10 (B-) - It felt weird now it's gonna be two hours until they jump ship to Netflix but the pacing felt very weird and some matches felt rushed. But then again this is temporary and will be back to three hours once they jump ship to Netflix.
