My Thoughts on the June 25th Episode of Wednesday Night AEW Dynamite:

My Thoughts: This was a strong episode of Dynamite, featuring six matches, which I enjoyed because more wrestling makes the show better. The Hung Bucks are now officially finished after the Young Bucks attacked Adam Page and left him behind as they walked away. This episode also had a clear storyline focus, which was positive, especially with their biggest event, ALL IN, approaching.

The June 25th | Episode of Wednesday Night AEW Dynamite | Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Swerve Strickland & Will Ospreay (with Prince Nana) vs. Blake Christian & Lee Johnson in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | Now this was very fun. I loved how Will Ospreay rushed out to the ring, tapping his wrist tape before the match. This was very fun. I love the chemistry of Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay as a tag team unit. I know it's only for a brief time, but this was fun. Please keep this team together after ALL IN.

2nd Match: Kota Ibushi vs. Trent Beretta (with Rocky Romero) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: *** | Is Kota Ibushi back? He looked solid in his return match, he looks like in great shape, and I pray and hope he doesn't get hurt because he adds more to the Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada ongoing feud with the Golden Lovers element to it. But this was a solid match, like I said, and I was happy to see Kota Ibushi back, one of the best wrestlers in the 2010s, who had a legendary career. I hope he stays healthy; they and I can see him in big-time matches in the future for AEW.

3rd Match: JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) vs. AR Fox & Ricochet in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ***.25 | One of my favorite tag teams in AEW right now is JetSpeed. I know they were created not too long ago, but they have been a fun tag team. I feel like they could be a huge threat to Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, and I hope they take the tag team titles away from them to help restore the AEW Tag Team Division. I want it to be like it was between 2020 and 2023—a fun, exciting division that delivered non-stop great matches because of the fun, unique teams. And right here, this is a very unique team as well. I like the pairing of AR Fox and Ricochet, even though it was short-lived.

4th Match: Mark Briscoe vs. Bandido vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Roderick Strong in a Men’s Casino Gauntlet Number One Sport Four-Way Match | Match Rating: ****.25 | A rocking match, this was the best match from the show. Very happy that Mark Briscoe won and got the first spot in the Men's Casino Gauntlet Match. But man, this was so much fun. I love the Four-Way Matches that AEW do because, most of the time, they turn out to be matches that just excite the crowd and have endless crazy spots. This was one of AEW's best TV Matches of this year. They are added to that list for me. I'm excited to see Mark Briscoe in the Gauntlet Match at ALL IN.

5th Match: Kris Statlander vs. Athena (with Billie Starkz) vs. Thunder Rosa vs. Willow Nightingale in a Women’s Casino Gauntlet Number One Sport Four-Way Match | Match Rating: **** | Athena in a Match on Dyuanmite, yes. This was fun. I thought Athena was going to win to give her something at AEW ALL IN, but it seems like she'll be doing something with Thunder Rosa, as it was evident in this match. Kris Statlander winning was a safe choice, very underrated, still shocked she hasn't won an AEW Women's World Title yet. She needs to win it by next year, because I'm tired of waiting.

The Main Event Match: Adam Page vs. The Beast Mortos in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | A fun eight-minute match. Adam Page against the Beast Mortos, I didn't know I needed this match. It was a lot of fun, really happy to see Beast Mortos having a main event match on Dynamite very underrated wrestler on AEW who pulls off some crazy stuff.

The June 25th | Wednesday Night AEW Dynamite | Match of the Night: Mark Briscoe vs. Bandido vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Roderick Strong in a Men’s Casino Gauntlet Number One Sport Four-Way Match | Match Rating: ****.25

The June 25th | Edition of Wednesday Night AEW Dynamite | Episode Grade: 7.25/10 (B-) | This was a solid episode of Dynamite loved the fact that six matches were on the show, more wrestling more better the show is better for me. The Hung Bucks are officially done as the Young Bucks attacked Adam Page and left him for dead as they walked away from it. This was also a story-driven episode of Dynamite, which is good, as well as their biggest event in the company is coming in ALL IN.
