WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Clash at Paris — The Show Preview List:
John Cena has had a very interesting 2025, from aligning with The Rock, and cheating his way to be a 17x World Champion, he has done a lot, even tagging with Logan Paul. But something shifted, John Cena realized who he was from March to July wasn’t John Cena, that was a whole different person. Now that he’s back, Logan Paul, the man he tagged with at WWE Money in the Bank in June, has had an issue with John Cena, but John Cena has been trying to humble the Social Media Sensation in Logan Paul. But it doesn’t seem to click in Logan Paul’s head. In one of his final matches of his legendary career, he will face Logan Paul in front of the Paris Crowd one last time tonight.
Seth Rollins pulled the Ruse of the Century at WWE SummerSlam Night One as he stole the CM Punk moment after defeating Gunther in the Main Event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Seth Rollins coming out on crutches shocked the world as he faked the injury and cashed his Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase to defeat CM Punk to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Seth Rollins afterwards ignited his rivalry with LA Knight, who defeated Seth Rollins at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Jey Uso inserted himself after handling Seth Rollins’ lackeys in Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. He now shifts back in regaining the title he lost in June of this year. A superstar-filled Main Event Fatal-Four Way Title Match is in store for tonight’s Clash at Paris. A lot can go on, and knowing Paul Heyman, who’s in Seth Rollins’ corner, he’s always one step ahead of everybody. Can we see a new member of the Vision, or will titles change hands tonight in Paris, France? We’ll see tonight.
Rusev made his return to WWE in April of this year. He wants to redeem himself as he’s in fact a changed man, but one person who didn’t like how Rusev was moving was his ex-best friend, Sheamus. Sheamus confronted Rusev and the two had a stellar Monday Night RAW TV Match in which Rusev won by cheating as Sheamus chest hit the metal steel on the turnbuckle. The rematch happened, and Sheamus gave Rusev his first loss back in WWE as he got him with the Brougue Kick. This whole feud has been about who’s the better fighter, and better man. They had the third match on the RAW after SummerSlam, but never had a finish as they brawled throughout the night, and announced later from General Manager Adam Pearce at Clash at Paris, Rusev and Sheamus will fight in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match. This will be Rusev’s first PLE Singles Match since his TLC Match against Bobby Lashley back in 2019. So we are seeing a whole new evolved Rusev. Can Rusev make a statement and beat Sheamus, or will Sheamus conquer the Redeemer and prove what he’s been saying all along in being the better man?
Bronson Reed has been a thorn in Roman Reigns’ plans. Roman Reigns and Jey Uso did take down Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at SummerSlam, but Bronson Reed wasn’t letting that slide. Bronson Reed has conutlessly destroyed and dismantled Roman Reigns to the point he would steal his Jordans. He used the Jordans around his neck as a reward for taking down Roman Reigns and making him look weak in the process. But Roman Reigns wasn’t going down without a fight. For the first time since WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns will fight in a Singles match. Can Roman Reigns bring down the muscle of Seth Rollins’ group, or will Bronson Reed have his crowning and breakout moment in taking down one of the best WWE wrestlers of this modern day?
Becky Lynch has been unstoppable since returning. Winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title and WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title, she has been a force to reckon with, taking down the likes of Bayley, Maxxine Dupri, Lyra Valkyria, and Natalya to retain her title. But the next challenger rose in the HOF. Nikki Bella stepped to the plate. Nikki Bella made it clear she wants to be here and win championships, but she wants that WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Becky Lynch has been running away left and right, being scared of Nikki Bella. But this will be Nikki Bella’s first title match of the 2020s Decade, and she has a lot of rust in the ring, so can she break that off and be the next WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion?
The Wyatt Sicks, since moving to SmackDown, have been known for what they want, and they got what they want in the WWE Tag Team Titles. They beat the Street Profits for those titles in who they’ll be facing tonight. The Street Profits have done a great job in redirection back to the WWE Tag Team Titles after not successfully winning the titles at WWE SummerSlam in the historic TLC Tag Team Match. Can the Street Profits try to get back what they lost, or will the Wyatt Sicks contaminate their reign and take down the Street Profits tonight?
