The WWE Clash In Italy Event Preview & What You Need To Know:

• Gunther was missing from WWE TV for a couple of weeks after he defeated Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. It came as a surprise as we saw him attack Cody Rhodes after his match against Ricky Saints on SmackDown, as he now targets the WWE Undisputed Title. Gunther officially moved from RAW to SmackDown thanks to the help of Paul Heyman, who made a deal with Gunther. Gunther was being very cocky, and almost missed his chance as Royce Keys almost signed off for the match at Clash In Italy but because Gunther didn't allow that to happen a No. 1 Contender's Match was made as Gunther defeated Royce Keys in the Main Event as he now is going to face Cody Rhodes, but before he can celebrate we saw Cody Rhodes hit a Cross Rhodes to knock Gunther down. Gunther is looking to become a 3x WWE World Champion. Will he be able to take down Cody Rhodes in Italy? We'll find out tonight as The Ring General takes on the Undisputed Champion, The American Nightmare, tonight at WWE Clash In Italy.

• Roman Reigns defeated Jacob Fatu at WWE Backlash but wasn't the last man standing throughout the whole match Jacob Fatu dominated but an exposed turnbuckle cost Jacob Fatu the match, and the chance of winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title but it didn't faze Jacob Fatu as he hit the Tongan Death Grip onto Roman Reigns as he took out WWE Officials and Roman Reigns to be standing at WWE Backlash. At Monday Night RAW after Backlash, Jacob Fatu attacked The Usos and Roman Reigns once more as he laid out Roman Reigns once again as the Samaon Werewolf is continuing to wreak havoc. On the May 18th Episode of Monday Night RAW, thanks to the help of The Usos, Roman Reigns got to finally put down Jacob Fatu, laying him out, but with the little ounce of breath he had left, he said to Roman Reigns, "Tribal Combat,” in which Roman Reigns accepted in front of the General Manager of Monday Night RAW, Adam Pearce. So tonight at WWE Clash In Italy in a Tribal Combat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title, Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns will look to go to war once again as they look to tear each other apart limb by limb, as to who will walk out of Italy as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion?

• Jade Cargill made her Post-WrestleMania return as she attacked Rhea Ripley during her match against Fatal Influence. Jade Cargill was the WWE Women's Champion but lost her title at WrestleMania against Rhea Ripley, as she did something not a few have done, and that's defeating Jade Cargill. Now in Italy, we have the rematch for the WWE Women's Title as Rhea Ripley will defend her WWE Women's Title against Jade Cargill in a highly anticipated WWE Women's Title Match.

• At Saturday Night's Main Event, we saw both women go at each other, but it ended in a DQ Finish because Becky Lynch pulled the Referee to get caught in the Sol Snatcher. But because of those actions, General Manager of Monday Night RAW, Adam Pearce, told Nick Aldis to inform the world at Clash In Italy that not only will a rematch happen, but it'll be for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Title. This will mark Sol Ruca's 1st Main Roster PLE Match as she has a chance to become a WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion in Italy.

• Oba Femi has been on a high ever since WrestleMania. He announced his own Open Challenge as he dismantled Otis and Los Garza. But when he did his 3rd Oba Femi open challenge, Brock Lesnar, who everyone thought had retired, attacked Oba Femi, laying him out with an F5, and appeared back on WWE TV. With a contract signed for WWE Clash in Italy in a WrestleMania Rematch, Oba Femi will look to conquer Brock Lesnar once again in Italy.

As WWE Clash In Italy approaches, the card is shaping up to deliver a compelling mix of championship stakes and high-profile clashes. Here are my official predictions for the event:

WWE Undisputed Championship Match Prediction: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther — I have Gunther becoming a 3x WWE World Champion. It's the easiest layup of a choice of a winner. Cody Rhodes needs a major break from the World Title scene, as he has been involved in the World Title scene since 2024. A lot of people are tired of it because he has faced almost everyone, and his current reign has been very lackluster. I think it's time for Gunther to become the next WWE Undisputed Champion.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tribal Combat Match Prediction: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu — Roman Reigns I have winning but with help from The Uso, as this match is indeed now a Tribal Combat the way Jacob Fatu has looked in this feud has been remarkable as he feels like a serious threat, and even though I would've had him win but I do believe Roman Reigns will come out on top, and retain as he will shift to a new oppenent post Clash In Itlay.

WWE Women's Championship Match Prediction: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill — I believe Rhea Ripley will retain, but with some chaos happening on the outside, as I feel like Jade Cargill will be protected in the process. Their match at WrestleMania was enjoyable, so I'm excited to see how they tear it down in Clash In Italy.

WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Match Prediction: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca — After seeing what transpired at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, I have a gut feeling we could see Sol Ruca get the shocking out-of-nowhere win and become the next WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion, defeating Becky Lynch.

Singles Match Prediction: Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman) vs. Oba Femi — Easy choice, Oba Femi, why derail the momentum of the best young star you've had to have an aging, washed-up wrestler in Brock Lesnar get a win back? That makes zero sense. If WWE is smart, which they aren't, sadly, they would book Oba Femi to get the win, then move on to the King of the Ring Tournament if they're doing one, and have him win the Tournament to face Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
