My Thoughts on the WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Evolution:

My Thoughts: An amazing event. I have to say the ladies need to take a bow; they showed why this needs to be an annual event. This was easily WWE Best PLE with Worlds Collide. The reason those two are the best WWE PLEs is that it was in-ring-based PLEs and didn't have the corny cinema moments and celebrities running the matches. All the matches I enjoyed, and the show ended on a great note with Naomi becoming the new WWE Women's World Champion. This needs to be a yearly event. Great job by all the ladies involved in this event. Amazing all-around PLE, this was such an awesome watch with great replay value. Great job to the women, y'all did amazing.

WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Night of Champions | Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bayley vs. Lyra Valkryia in a Triple Threat Title Match for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship | via Pin-Fall | Match Rating: ****.50 | Amazing Opener. The build to this match was great, and the match itself was amazing. These three women went out there and tore the house down and made the crowd come alive. There were a few sequences in this match that had me entertained. And I did like how the match ended with the smooth transition into the pin by Becky Lynch to retain her WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. What I enjoyed from this was that each woman in this match looked strong; no one looked like they were weak. Bayley looked great, Becky Lynch, as usual, shows up in the big matches, and Lyra Valkryia continues to establish herself as a future World Champion. Amazing Opener, more of this because these women rock, and I loved this match.

2nd Match: Jacy Jayne (with Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx) (c) vs. Jordynne Grace (with Blake Monroe) in a Singles Title Match for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship | Match Rating: ***.25 | This wasn't a bad match, as I thought this match was getting good until Blake Monroe turned heel and cost Jordynne Grace her chance to become WWE NXT Women's Champion. Jordynne Grace has one of the best women's movesets in wrestling because she a lot to pull out in her moveset. Jacy Jayne held her own as well in this match. She didn't look bad. She has had a solid reign so far and now moves on to face TNA Women's Champion Masha Slamovich as she will face her as both of the titles will be on the line in a winner-takes-all match. But Jordynne Grace now shifts to Blake Monroe as this might be her final NXT feud before the Main Roster. This will elevate Blake Monroe a lot, having this feud with Jordynne Grace.

3rd Match: The Judgement (Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez) (c) vs. Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs. Sol Ruca and Zaria vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) in a Fatal-Four Way Tag Team Title Match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships | Match Rating: **** | I enjoyed this match. This match delivered big-time for me. The team of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair worked well with each other and had some moments. Sol Ruca and Zaria were the highlights of the match for me; they were hitting on all cylinders before the mishap, as Zaria speared Sol Ruca, which cost them a chance to win this match. The Kabuki Warriors were putting together a good performance more of them in the Women's Tag Division. The Judgement Day own Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez had a very good showing asd a team as they retained in an awesome Fatal-Four Way Tag Title Match. This goes to show that if there is focus on the Women's Tag Division, it can indeed be a killer decision with the talented tag teams they have to offer.

4th Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Trish Stratus in a Singles Title Match for the WWE Women’s Championship | Match Rating: ***.50 | This was a quick one, but I got the job done. Trish Stratus can still go with the best of them, and she showed why she's one of the best to ever do it. Tiffany Stratton had a good showing; her past title defenses weren't the best, but I'm glad she had a solid title defense with this match because it was very entertaining, and even the crowd was enjoying it as they were chanting "This is Awesome". I wish they could have added a couple more minutes, but I can't complain because the match was very good indeed. Now, Tiffany Stratton shifts her focus to Jade Cargill for SummerSlam as she'll defend her WWE Women's Championship against her.

5th Match: Jade Cargill defeated Naomi in a No Holds Barred Match with Bianca Belair as the Special Guest Referee | Match Rating: *** | This was one of Jade Cargill's better performances. Her match with Liv Morgan, Naomi at WrestleMania, and this match are her best performances since joining WWE in 2023. But the extreme factor of this match was there they were pulling out everything from Chairs, Trash Cans, Tables, and Tool boxes. I liked how chaotic Naomi was in this match fits her new unhinged character because she did a great job in this match and was somewhat carrying Jade Cargill during some parts of the match. I thought Bianca Belair, as the Special Guest referee, was going to do some costly thing was she did her part. I liked the fact that she had something to do for this event. I dearly miss seeing her wrestle. But Jade Cargill gets the win after putting Naomi through a table to now be 2-0 against Naomi and potentially ending her feud with her.

6th Match: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Alba Frye vs. B-Fab vs. Candice LeRae vs. Chelsea Green vs. Giulia vs. Ivy Nile vs. Izzi Dame vs. Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Lash Legend vs. Lola Vice vs. Maxxine Dupri vs. Michin vs. Natalya vs. Nia Jax vs. Nikki Bella vs. Piper Niven vs. Tatum Paxley vs. Zelina Vega in a 20-Women Battle Royale for a WWE Women’s World Championship Opportunity at WWE Clash at Paris | Match Rating: ***.25 | This was a very fun 20-Women Battle Royale. I loved how the NXT Women were portrayed, getting some offense and some eliminations. You can see which people Triple H is high on, and it's clear he is very high on Lash Legend, as she had a breakout performance. She made it to the final two against the winner of the match, Stephanie Vaquer, as it went down to the wire. Now, Stephanie Vaquer will head to WWE Clash in Paris and compete in a Women's World Title Match. She'll be watching SummerSlam to see who she will choose to face at WWE Clash in Paris—either Naomi or Tiffany Stratton.

The Main Event Match: IYO SKY (c) vs. Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat Title Match for the WWE Women’s World Championship | via Pin-Fall | Match Rating: ***** | One of the best women's matches of the year 2025. This was amazing, I loved this match so far, and will go back and watch this because this match showed why Iyo Sky is one of the best. Rhea Ripley is one of the best women's wrestlers in the world, even if you want to deny that. But I liked it, they even made the use of the referee bump useful and meaningful, the outside action was intense into the crowd, and Iyo Sky took a crazy dive to the concrete as he landed on Rhea Ripley. So many near-falls and drama and chaos. There were many moments I thought it was over. Then out of the blue, Naomi comes out and cashes her WWE Women's Money in the Bank Briefcase to make it a Triple Threat Match, and she takes out Rhea Ripley, then hits the Split-Legged Moonsault to win and become a 3x WWE Women's World Champion. Now she moves to Monday Night RAW as the top champion of the Women's Division of RAW. She deserves this; she worked so hard for this, and I'm so happy Naomi got a big moment in the closing moments of the show. Now I hope she has a great reign and delivers.

WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Evolution — Match of the Night: IYO SKY (c) vs. Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat Title Match for the WWE Women’s World Championship | via Pin-Fall | Match Rating: *****

WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Evolution | The Event Grade: 9/10 (A-) | This was an amazing show by all the women. This goes to show that when you allow people to wrestle and not try to get those celebrity interactions and cinema moments, you can put together a great PLE. It’s funny to see how WWE Worlds Collide and WWE Evolution are the two best WWE PLEs, as they displayed great wrestling and were given a lot of time and a match card. If they continue this, WWE can be very much indeed a fun company to watch again.
