2nd Match: Bianca Belair defeats Piper Niven (with Chelsea Green) via Pin - Fall (12:15)
3rd Match: #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) defeats The Motor City Machine (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) (c) for the WWE Tag Team Championships via Pin - Fall (10:58) - TITLE CHANGE!!!!

Thoughts on the December 6th, Edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown Show:
Thoughts: A very fun episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Started the show off with American Made making their arrival to SmackDown it seems like a trade must of went down because Chad Gable hinted at that. But a very solid opening segment they made Chad Gable seem very important, and I hope if true that he'll be on SmackDown for the foreseeable future I hope he has an important role on the show same with The Creed Brothers in the Tag Team Division. Tiffany Stratton locks herself in the next round of the WWE Women's United States Championship Tournament as she defeated both Naomi & Elektra Lopez. Bianca Belair delivers the Match of the Night with Piper Niven in a fun & entertaining women's singles match. Solo Sikoa & his Bloodline continue to run hot - shot around SmackDown as they took out throughout the night Apollo Crews, LA Knight, and Andrade creating more enemies in the process. D.I.Y. got their WWE Tag Team Titles back but in a dirty fashion as Johnny Gargano low - blows MCGM and tricks both men which allowed D.I.Y. to win the belts and cement their heel turn. Kevin Owens had an interview with Michael Cole which also hinted in the near future we'll see Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens crossing paths again. Cody Rhodes & Chad Gable delivered in a very fun Main Event. Chad Gable did a lot of damage to Cody Rhodes ankle then after the match Kevin Owens appeared and started a brawl with the WWE Champion as the show closes out. A very good show from top to bottom I'm happy that trades are gonna happen from all three brands to freshen up the shows which are needed. Very happy how SmackDown been since their arrival back to the USA Network.
The December 6th, Edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Elektra Lopez in a Women’s Triple Threat Match in the First Round of the WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament - Match Rating: N/A - This was the weakest first round match of the WWE Women's United States Championship Tournament. I thought the match felt rushed, sloppy, and didn't hit as I expected to hit. I thought Naomi was gonna be the one who advances but the hometown girl got the win now next week we'll see Tiffany Stratton take on Michin in the Semi - Finals Round and whoever wins that punch their ticket for WWE Saturday Night Main Event for the Final Round Matchup to determine the first ever WWE Women's United States Champion.
2nd Match: Bianca Belair vs. Piper Niven (with Chelsea Green) - Match Rating: **** - This was a very good match. Bianca Belair & Piper Niven had great chemistry in this match. Bianca Belair continue to show why she's indeed one of the best wresters in the world today. She's allergic to bad singles matches as she rarely has any bad matches. But the KOD she did was so sick. Very fun match I won't mind if these two ran it back again in the near future.
3rd Match: The Motor City Machine (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) (c) vs. #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) for the WWE Tag Team Championships - Match Rating: ***.50 - I was very surprised that Motor City Gun Machine dropped the belts already as I thought they were primed for a very lengthy run but I don't mind the title drop as they in a story with #DIY & The Street Profits which has been a very entertaining story on SmackDown. I have a feeling they're going to play hot potato with the WWE Tag Team Belt. But I hope the pending Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships happens at a PPV and not a Main Event for SmackDown hoping that match takes place at next year's Royal Rumble or at WWE Saturday Night Main Event.
The Main Event Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Chad Gable - Match Rating: ***.75 - This was a fun Main Event. I like that Chad Gable is potentially gonna be on SmackDown for the foreseeable future as he would thrive on SmackDown especially in the Main Event & Mid - Card Scene. This was a great back & forth match. Chad Gable had the advantage as it was in his hometown of Minnesota but Cody Rhodes toughed it out and got the win even tho the damage to his ankle was done by Chad Gable. Kevin Owens appeared afterwards and started a brawl with Cody Rhodes and attacked his injured ankle something he didn't do at Bash in Berlin many months back. A great way to end SmackDown, and Chad Gable on SmackDown is a much needed thing because SmackDown lacked in having many hoopers and Chad Gable in fact is a hooper.
The December 6th, WWE Friday Night SmackDown Match of the Night: Bianca Belair vs. Piper Niven (with Chelsea Green) - Match Rating: ****
The December 6th, Edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown Show Grade: 7.25/10 (B-) - A very solid show of SmackDown. I really enjoyed Bianca Belair vs. Piper Niven as I thought it was the Match of the Night. Johnny Gargano finally gave in and stabbed his mentors in the back with a low - blow to win the WWE Tag Team Championships again. Cody Rhodes takes down Chad Gable but also suffers more hurt to his ankle which led to Kevin Owens coming out to attack and target his injured ankle. Very fun episode. Next week show looks like they gonna focus on finding out who’ll be in the final round matchup for the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
