The Opening Match: Damian Priest & Jimmy Uso defeated Drew McIntyre & Shinsuke Nakamura in a Tag Team Match | Pin-Fall | (07:46)

Thoughts on the March 21st Edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Bologna, Italy Episode:

Thoughts: Friday Night SmackDown has been such a hard-watching show since the start of 2025. The creative for this show is a major issue as they don't utilize who needs to be utilized, as Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, and others aren't on the show weekly. They need more time than other people who are on the show. SmackDown is composed of star-studded talent. I think the issue is the lack of game-changers outside of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens there is a huge lack of stars on the men's side. But women are a different story, very star-studded from top to bottom. This episode was very below average.

The Opening Match: Damian Priest & Jimmy Uso vs. Drew McIntyre & Shinsuke Nakamura in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **.25 | This was such a 2K Universe random matchup tag team match. It was very average. Damian Priest got the victory as he pinned Shinsuke Nakamura to give his team the victory. But afterward, Drew McIntyre Claymore'd Damian Priest and told him off. SmackDown needs to be more creative with these matchups because what's the point of these very poor matchups? Jimmy Uso? How does he fit into this match? Just very average and not needed for this show.

2nd Match: Jacob Fatu vs. Braun Strowman in a Number One Contenders Match for the WWE United States Championship | Match Rating: N/A | This was a good match until Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga came and ruined the match. This match was starting to get good before the interference. Now we'll see LA Knight defend his Championship against Braun Strowman next week. Jacob Fatu is in a slow burn to turn on Solo Sikoa soon. I do like the fact Jacob Fatu has been in singles matches because I enjoy watching him wrestle. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu are starting to have fractures as Solo Sikoa has been in Jacob Fatu's business a lot and does more damage than good.

3rd Match: Piper Niven (with Alba Fyre & Chelsea Green) vs. Zelina Vega in a Singles Match | Match Rating: **.25 | First and foremost, Zelina Vega's new theme is something else. But the match wasn't good. Very poor match, and both women are very talented, but the chemistry in the ring didn't mesh whatsoever. Piper Noven won, but it just was not a good match.

4th Match: Liv Morgan (with Raquel Rodriguez) vs. Jade Cargill in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.25 | This was Jade Cargill's best singles match in WWE. Liv Morgan Man has been the MVP for the women in WWE and has been one of the better female wrestlers in the world today. They had very solid chemistry in this match. I thought Jade Cargill made a lot of improvement it was very evident in this match. Also, thanks to Naomi, Jade Cargill suffered her first singles loss in WWE as she lost to Liv Morgan. This match was really fun, one of the better matches from this show tonight. It was great stuff by both ladies.

The Main Event Match: The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs. Los Garzas (Angel & Berto) (with Santos Escobar) in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **** | This was a very fun tag team main event match. The Profits as champions feel right they deserve it, and it has been long overdue as their first match as champions. Los Garza are so underrated they showed in this match why they need to be on TV a lot more often. I enjoyed this match a lot this is what was missing from the show, as some of the matches were very below average and straight-up bad. But this was very good stuff by both teams. The Profits have Pretty Deadly next as they defend their Tag Titles in London, England.

The March 21st | Edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Bologna, Italy | Show Grade: 4.50/10 (D+) | A very poor episode of SmackDown despite having a very hot crowd this show all-around was very below average as some of the matchups didn't make sense nor were good. Next week, there will be two title matches, and we will have a hot London Crowd.
