My Thoughts on the February 6th Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

My Thoughts: This episode of SmackDown, I'm glad we had seven matches on a Three-Hour show, but my issue is why isn't the in-ring material good? The first two matches on the show were fine and passable. But the rest of the show, the matches felt boring and flat. My issue is that you have a stacked roster, but the matchmaking ability is god-awful. Like, you can create some fun matches involving Ilja Dragunov and someone like Cody Rhodes; they just miss the mark on the matchmaking. The Segments on the show were solid, but man, get the in-ring material better because, all-around, it was mediocre to below average in-ring work for the majority of the episode. Next week, it's a super stacked SmackDown. I really hope the in-ring quality is a lot better than what it was last night.

The February 6th Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown — The Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: RHIYO (IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley) (c) vs. Giulia & Kiana James in a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — The Match of the Night it was great seeing Giulia tap into her own tongiht she what happens when she's allowed to wrestle people who can fight her style of wreastling this was a very fun Tag Team Title Match. RHIYO has been a good fighting champion. I do think they'll drop it shortly, but I've been enjoying this WWE Women's Tag Team Title run. My only issue within this match was the fact Giulia was the on who got pinned to get the loss for her team and seeminly lose the title match I thought Kiana James would've take the pin so that's my only issue from that match but RHIYO isn't stopping as they have Lash Legend and Nia Jax's next week as they once again put their WWE Women's Tag Team Titles on the line and I really hope Lash Legend can get some gold next week.

The 2nd Match: Carmelo Hayes vs. The Miz in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: *** — This was quite enjoyable to watch. Carmelo Hayes is oozing with confidence since he became a babyface, but this match continues to show people why he's one of the next up coming Main Event Level Talents on the Main Roster. He faced The Miz who he had an almost year long allience with last year. They had a tag team called Melo Don't Miz, which I didn't like, but I digress. The Miz has been trying to slowly put a wedge between Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov, but in this match against The Miz, Carmelo Hayes decided not put his WWE United States Title on the line; it was a non-title match. What I liked about this match was the control Carmelo Hayes had over the match and the fun offense he always displays. The finish of this matychjw as so smooth as Carmelo Hayes hit a sick reversal to hit his finisher to capture the win. I would like Carmelo Hayes to be involved in the Men's Elimination Chamber Match this year. It would be nice to see him and other young talent involved, but who knows? Maybe he would be added?

The 3rd Match: Tiffany Stratton vs. Chelsea Green (with Alba Fyre) and Lash Legend (with Nia Jax) in a Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Triple Threat Match | The Match Rating: **.75 — It was indeed a boring match but the only bright spot was once again Lash Legend as she was the only person in this match I really enjoyed watching she had her breakouit moment last week at the Rumble and once again she's contoine to iomprove also she been getting more over with the crowd. But once I saw Tiffany Stratton was in this match, I sadly started to realize that the hope of Lash Legebnd winning was very slim, as WWE wouldn't have Tiffany Stratton lose right away, as that, in hindsight, wouldn't make any sense. But Tiffany Stratton is treading back into the WWE Women's Title picture as she's the first woman to be in the Women's Elimination Chamber Match.

The 4th Match: Oba Femi vs. Kit Wilson in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: N/A — Oba Femi arrives on SmackDown as he taught Kit Wilson a lesson on masculinity, as he dismantled Kit Wilson to make quick work of him, and as he defeated Kit Wilson in less than a minute. Oba Femi’s presentation on the Main Roster has been good so far. Also, also to note that he’s already super over with the crowd, so this mega push he’s getting is going to be so badass, as Oba Femi eventually will have some gold around his shoulders shortly.

The 5th Match: Tama Tonga (with JC Mateo & Tonga Loa) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ** — Shinsuke Nakamura having a singgle match on SmackDown is cool but he been in some form of story with MFTs member Tama Tonga they do have a long history dated back to New Japan but this match was very flat, and medicore. I get they tryna tell some story but what I'm getting from this is we have heard the rumors about EVIL leaving New Japan to depart to WWE but we also recently saw Hiromu Takahashi is also leaving New Japan but now with recent reports heading to WWE so what I'm getting from this is some new stable is going to be introduced with Shinsuke Nakamura as the leadfer as they will go after the WWE Tag Team Titles. But to resume talking about this match, the ending sequence was very clunky and uninspiring as Tama Tonga got a shocking singles win. I don't remember the last time Tama Tonga had a singles victory, maybe the last time dated back to 2024? But please get to the end of this story because I don't see people being invested unless new people are about to join the company to align with Shinsuke Nakamura.

The 6th Match: Jade Cargill & Jordynne Grace vs. The Judgement Day (Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez) in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: *.75 — Can they co-exist as a unit? That’s how I know creative is just half-assing it, because what was the whole point of this match? I get they’re telling a story of Liv Morgan kinda sabotaging Raquel Rodriguez’s chances, which I believe will lead to Raquel Rodriguez having enough of Liv Morgan to shift to babyface and, in the process, leave The Judgement Day to ride solo. Jade Cargill tagging with the women she’s facing next week to defend her WWE Women’s Title to see if they can co-exist is so lazy & boring because we always see these dumb stories, “oh my goodness, can they co-exist?’ It’s simply a low-effort booking and uninspiring writing by the SmackDown creative team. Now, the match itself was very boring & a waste of time. The only thing it did was add more to the Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez saga. But please, WWE, stop these co-exist matches. They don’t do anything. They’re the oldest low-effort booking trick you can do to try to fuel more into a feud that doesn’t fuel anything.

The Main Event Match: Randy Orton vs. Aleister Black vs. Solo Sikoa in a Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Triple Threat Match | The Match Rating: **.75 — A very predictable outcome, we knew Aleister Black wasn't going to win. The same can be said for Solo Sikoa, but this match was very boring; there were three different styles, but the in-ring chemistry didn't mesh together well. I wanted Aleister Black to win. It would've been shocking, and something new, also unpredictable, but knowing how Randy Orton is trying so desperately to become a 15x World Champion, he was going to do everything it took to get the win tonight. The first 13 minutes in the match very boring the only bright spot was the final couple minutes of the match where Aleister Black try to hit a Black Mass but was caught into a RKO then Solo Sikoa was tryiong to be sneaky and with the voices in Randy Orton telling him he's behind you he laid the RKO to be the first man in the Men's Elimination Chamber Match now do I think Randy Orton will win no but I do sense him turning heel if he doesn't come away with the Elimniantion Chamber win.

The February 6th WWE Friday Night SmackDown  The Match of the Night: RHIYO (IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley) (c) vs. Giulia & Kiana James in a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — This match had a lot of fun moments, I really liked when IYO SKY and Giulia had their showdown now that match has PLE Main Event Levels of interest from me. But it was cool to see them interact in the ring, but in the end, RHIYO had another successful title defense as they retained their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

The February 6th Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown — The Episode Grade: 5.50/10 (C) — This episode, in my eyes, could’ve been so much better if the in-ring quality was a lot better because it lacked heavily. There were seven matches on the show last night, in which we didn’t have one stealer match at all. That’s a major issue for me because you have a talented roster, but aren; ’t allowing them to display their talents. They need to up the quality in the ring because it lacked heavily big-time last night on SmackDown.
