The June 19th WWE Friday Night SmackDown Episode Preview & What You Need To Know:

  • Cody Rhodes and Gunther will have their WWE Clash In Italy Rematch tonight in Kansas City, Missouri, as the Undisputed WWE Title will be on the line, and, mixed into the fact that Gunther had a choice of what the stipulation could be, he chose Sami Zayn as the Special Guest Referee. Why this is important is because, as of late, Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn have had a lot of tension and issues for the past months. With Sami Zayn being the most important factor in this match, he can call it down the middle, screw someone over, or do something unexpected. A lot of unpredictability is going into this match tonight, but the question everyone is asking is who'll manage to come out on top, and will Cody Rhodes still be Undisputed Champion, or will Gunther become a 3x World Champion tonight in Missouri? We'll see tonight.

  • Charlotte Flair won her First Round Fatal-Four Way Match for the Queen of the Ring Tournament then on Monday she defeated Roxanne Perez of The Judgement Day who is in the same stable as Charlotte Flair oppenent tonight in the Semi-Final Round of the Queen of the Ring Tournament as the WWE Women's World Champion Liv Morgan will be live and present as she looks to make it to the Finals of the Queen of the Ring Tournament as she looks to face IYO SKY in the Final Round at WWE Night of Champions. But a lot is at stake as to who'll punch their ticket to WWE Night of Champions tonight on SmackDown.

  • Ricky Saints has made an impression since coming to SmackDown from NXT. Debut Main Roster Match against the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, already pursuing the WWE United States Titles, but there's one problem: Carmelo Hayes is also pursuing the title he lost back in March. Carmelo Hayes and Ricky Saints will have a WWE United States Title No. 1 Contender's Match tonight, and the winner will face Trick Williams at WWE Night of Champions, so who will have the chance to go onto WWE Night of Champions to fight for the WWE United States Championship?

  • Je'Von Evans the Young OG has been having an amazing rookie year on the Main Roster being an Iron-Man of the Royal Rumble, competing at the WWE Elimination Chamber, wrestling at his 1st WrestleMania, and now is one round away from going to WWE Night of Champions to face one of his greatest rivals in Oba Femi but there's one thing Je'Von Evans has to get over Jey Uso who won his First Round Match last week on SmackDown. Jey Uso was told by Roman Reigns he should chase after Cody Rhodes, and now Jey Uso is one more round away as he looks to re-enter the World Title Picture. But the Young OG, who is the massive underdog, is looking to shock the world to head to the Final Round as Oba Femi awaits, but he needs to focus on the task at hand, and that's to take down Jey Uso.

  • Damian Priest and R-Truth have been dealing with an MFT problem as they eye the WWE Tag Team Titles. Talla Tonga & Tama Tonga will be fighting, as Solo Sikoa will be ringside, as Damian Priest, who has been irritated as of late and is looking for a character change on the horizon, wants to end this tonight, and for R-Truth, he has been distracted from the task at hand. Still, he needs to show up tonight, or the WWE Tag Team Titles will be going to the MFTs once again.

  3. Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricky Saints in a WWE United States Title No. 1 Contender’s Match.

  4. Je’Von Evans vs. Jey Uso in a King Of The Ring Semi-Final Match.

  5. Damian Priest & R-Truth (c) vs. The MFTs (Talla Tonga & Tama Tonga) (with Solo Sikoa) in a WWE Tag Team Title Match.
