The October 10th Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown — The Episode Rundown:
Aleister Black and Damian Priest one last time in a Last Man Standing Match. This rivalry has been dated back to July when Aleister Black, with pent-up frustration, Black Mass’d Damian Priest to turn him into a villainous figure again for the 2nd Time in WWE. Damian Priest lost to Aleister Black due to Aleister Black cheating and catching Damian Priest in a Black Mass for the win, but for numerous weeks after that, Aleister Black kept attacking Damian Priest and issued messages towards Damian Priest. The final straw was when Aleister Black was inches away from beating Sami Zayn to become WWE United States Champion. Damian Priest appeared and cost him the chance, and hit a Razor Edge after the match, putting Aleister Black through a table. Now in the Main Event for tonight’s Main Event, we see Aleister Black and Damian Priest in Perth, Australia, going to tear each other apart to prove a point, and the point is who’s the better man.
On this episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is expected to address his upcoming high-profile match at WWE Crown Jewel against Seth Rollins. Rhodes may speak about the intense rivalry leading up to the bout, his determination to prove himself as a fighting champion, and the significance of defending his title on a grand stage like Crown Jewel. Fans can look forward to Cody sharing his thoughts, hyping up the showdown with Rollins, and possibly sending a message to his challenger before their anticipated clash.
Sami Zayn 6th Edition of the US Open Challenge. Sami Zayn has restored the prestige of the WWE United States Title after having great title bout against the likes of Aleister Black, Carmelo Hayes, and others. But now in Perth, Australia, who will step up to the challenge and come face-to-face with one of the best wrestlers of this generation, in Sami Zayn, and try to capture the WWE United States Title from him?
The Street Profits have been on a mission to get back the WWE Tag Team Titles, but internal issues within the tag team have been brewing, thanks to the Wyatt Sicks, who has been trying to get into both men’s heads. The Street Profits lost the WWE Tag Team Titles back in July to the Wyatt Sicks, and lost against them at SummerSlam, and again at WWE Clash in Paris, which has made the team have cracks. Angelo Dawkins seems not to be himself, and the same can be said for Montez Ford, as Uncle Howdy is trying to break the team apart and make one another snap and turn on each other’s backs. This will be their 4th try since losing the WWE Tag Team Titles, and 4th Match against the Wyatt Sicks as they look to become 3x WWE Tag Team Champions. But everyone is talking about what if they lose, will someone snap, or will they continue to align side by side?
The WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, and the WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will tag alongside each other before their match tomorrow night at WWE Crown Jewel for the WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Title, but before then, they have to handle the WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia and her Manager Kiana James in some tag team,m action. Last week, Giulia and Kiana James tried to ambush both women, which didn’t work out in the end, prolonging this match that’s held tonight.
