3rd Dark Match: Cody Rhodes (c) defeats Solo Sikoa for the WWE Championship in a South Carolina Street Fight - TITLE RETAINED
Thoughts on the October 18th, Edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown Show:
Thoughts: A very average episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Jey Uso makes his return on the blue brand to confront his little brother the current leader of The Bloodline Solo Sikoa. The first sets of Triple Threat Tag Team Matches happened and we saw DIY get the win to advance to next week match to determine wholl be next to face The Bloodline for the WWE Tag Team Championships. NXT own Lash Legend showed a lot as she pulled an upset victory over Piper Niven as Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill watched from the crowd and were impressed by the members of Meta-Four. Cody Rhodes talked about Gunther in a very boring segment in my opinion Cody Rhodes usually has great segments but this was very boring & bland. Kevin Owens talks about how upset he is and continue to feel betrayed and WWE dont want him to show up. This storyline is gonna be amazing once the weeks come because Im ready for this new character arc for Kevin Owens. MCGM makes there debut in the second set of Triple Threat Tag Team Matches, and won theyll face DIY to determine wholl be the new number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. In the Main Event Match Candice LeRae pulled a upset win as she pinned Bayley to get the victory the current WWE Womens Speed Champion is embarking on a big push which is needed as shes one of the most underrated women on that Womens Roster. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa face off but Solo Sikoa made it like a trap and had Jimmy Uso get demolished then proceed to destroy Roman Reigns. Overall average episode next week slate of matches look good so I hope next week show delivers.

The Opening Match: #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) (with B- Fab) in a WWE Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Qualifying Match - Match Rating: *** - This was a fun opener, all the qualifying tag matches tonight were solid. This one was unpredictable because I genuinely didnt know who was gonna win. At the end of the match we saw DIY get the win but The Street Profits were frustrated with the fact they didnt get the win. But next week its gonna be MCGM vs. DIY in a Number One Contenders Match. If that match is given time could be a candidate for TV Match of the Year.
2nd Match:
3rd Match: Motor City Gun Machine (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. Los Garza (Angel & Berto) vs. A - Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) in a WWE Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Qualifying Match - Match Rating: ***.50 - This was a good triple threat tag team match. We finally see the legendary Tag Team Motor City Gun Machine debut in WWE. The match itself was pretty fun it was cool to see each team ball out the way they did. Motor City Gun Machine got the victory and advances next week to face DIY for a chance to be the #1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
The Main Event Match: Candice LeRae & Nia Jax (with Indi Hartwell) vs. Bayley & Naomi - Match Rating: *.25 - This match made no sense. But I was glad Candice LeRae pinned Bayley, and Indi Hartwell blasted Bayley on the outside Im seeing we are getting a new fresh feud between Bayley & Candice LeRae which Im super soaked for because both ladies can go and this feud can help elevate Candice LeRae on the main roster.

October 18th, Edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown Show Grade: 5/10 (C-) - This was a very average episode of SmackDown, I thought this was a very flat show only bright spots had to be when Kevin Owens explained how he felt betrayed but other than that I don’t know.
