My Thoughts on the July 11th Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

My Thoughts: This was a low-quality episode of SmackDown. The opening for SmackDown was okay, with LA Knight and Paul Heyman building more towards the Saturday Night Main Event Match. But Solo Sikoa coming out with his group added nothing to this. SmackDown is one of the worst shows in wrestling. The lifeless show has no redeeming qualities, and the lack of young talent is evident. Road Dogg isn't a good creative mind and is stuck in corny comedy and nonsenseical garbage. Having Carmelo Hayes in catering and not pushing him is a choice, as they have buried him in a sense and seemingly turned away from the man who was once the face of NXT. Having matches that go for two minutes and short garbage Bloodline Tag Main Event, where you have Solo Sikoa lose back-to-back weeks as WWE United States Champion, is awful booking. This show is going to be awful as long as Road Dogg is in charge of creative and Triple H isn't off the hook, because why are you having people being subjected to this garbage weekly? SmackDown in 2022-2023 was a solid weekly showing with good matchups, solid stories, and a focus on the younger talent. 2024-present is just an awful, lifeless product; the Bloodline being the focal point is garbage. The WWE Draft is coming, and they need a huge overhaul and reset because this is ridiculous.

The July 11th | Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown — Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Alexa Bliss (with Charlotte Flair) vs. Kairi Sane (with Asuka) vs. Roxanne Perez (with Raquel Rodriguez) vs. Sol Ruca (with Zaria) in a Fatal-Four Way Match | Match Rating: ** | This was okay, but there were a lot of bad miscues, and the chemistry wasn't good. Sol Ruca was my main highlight from this; she delivered, and it goes to show that flippy stuff is fun to watch. Alexa Bliss was okay. Kairi Sane had so many miscues, even with the finisher didn't allow Alexa Bliss to get the finish right, just an all-around mess.

2nd Match: The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) (c) vs. The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis & Joe Gacy) (with Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross & Uncle Howdy) in a Tag Team Title Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships | Match Rating: *** | A very okay tag team match. The Street Profits shouldn't have lost that was the wrong choice because they didn't even have a proper full title reign. The Wyatt Sicks did have a solid showing and now possess the tag titles, and the only bright spot of SmackDown is the Tag Division, but now I don't know how The Street Profits lost the titles that quickly.

3rd Match: Ron Killings vs. Aleister Black in a Singles Match | Match Rating: N/A | This match was the seed planter for the Aleister Black heel turn that occurred backstage as Aleister Black took out Damian Priest with a knee to the face. Ron Killings getting the win was okay; seeing him shift to an aggressive side, I liked keeping that up. I think there’s more story going to be told between him and Aleister Black, as I don’t think this feud is remotely over, as Ron Killings will be involved with Damian Priest, now finally being inserted into the mix after the attack by Aleister Black.

The Main Event Match: Jimmy Uso & LA Knight vs. JC Mateo & Solo Sikoa (with Tala Tonga & Tonga Loa) in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: *.75 | Horrible Match, so many botches, just a dead match with no heat. LA Knight is stuck in that awful Bloodline Vortex. Just all-around terrible, and the post-match stuff, why was Tala Tonga stalling and missing his cues, just garbage. But hey, Bron Breakker speared the daylights out of LA Knight to seemingly show maybe LA Knight will win tomorrow with help from maybe the OTC.

The July 11th | WWE Friday Night SmackDown | Match of the Night: The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) (c) vs. The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis & Joe Gacy) (with Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross & Uncle Howdy)  in a Tag Team Title Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships | Match Rating: ***

The July 11th | Edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown | Episode Grade: 1.75/10 (F) | Awful episode of SmackDown. This was one of the worst episodes in general from a wrestling company this year. I thought outside of one match, the matches on the show didn’t deliver. SmackDown is just abysmal and garbage, nothing much I can say.

Next Week WWE Friday Night SmackDown | July 18th Episode | The Announced Matches & Segments:
