My Thoughts on the June 6th Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

My Thoughts: This was a very solid go-home show for SmackDown what I liked from this show was the destruction made by Seth Rollins and his new group. They took out everyone in their sight and it was a sight to see. The Six-Women Tag Team Match was really fun need more of them all-star tag team matches. Overall a very solid eventful episode of SmackDown before Money in the Bank.

The June 6th | Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown | Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Jimmy Uso vs. JC Mateo (with Jacob Fatu & Solo Sikoa) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ** | This was a very average match. Jimmy Uso takes on JC Mateo in a singles match, and it wasn’t all that. I think WWE allows Jeff Cobb to go in the ring because it’s like he’s holding back. After all, he has a very good move-set and is very fun to watch from his New Japan Pro-Wrestling days. But Jimmy Uso got the win after JC Mateo ran into Jacob Fatu, which allowed Jimmy Uso to get the roll-up victory. Afterwards, more tension between Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo, but Solo Sikoa tried to be the peacemaker, which didn’t work.

2nd Match: Zelina Vega vs. Piper Niven (with Alba Frye & Chelsea Green) in a Bakersfield Brawl Match | Match Rating: **.50 | This was very much Zelina Vega’s best match under her title reign, and I know the title wasn’t on the line, but she looked okay in this match. Piper Niven faces Zelina Vega for the millionth time and has the same result as she suffered another loss to the WWE Women’s United States Champion. Giulia came and helped Zelina Vega out, then attacked her and raised the WWE Women’s United States Title as she signals she’s coming for the belt.

3rd Match: LA Knight vs. Aleister Black in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | This match was good. I did expect a solid match between both men, but this match was a delight to see. After the two average matches to start the show, this was a refreshing match to watch. They had very good chemistry; it flowed well, but the match was cut short by Seth Rollins as he stomped LA Knight to cause the match to end. Then Aleister Black went face-to-face with Seth Rollins, and to note, they have a lot of history as Seth Rollins was the reason for Aleister Black to almost lose his eye and causing a lot of psychological damage to him. But LA Knight and Seth Rollins are fresh, and I would like to see more between them. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed destroyed both men as Seth Rollins is standing tall.

4th Match: Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley & Stephanie Vaquer vs. Giulia, Naomi & Roxanne Perez in a Six-Women Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ***.75 | This was such a fun all-star women’s tag team match. This featured all the people involved in the Women’s Money in the Bank. Stephanie Vaquer was on fire in this match, same with Rhea Ripley, who was moving great and had some good offense. Naomi ditched her team, which left Roxanne Perez to get plummpted and pinned, which had the Team of Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley & Stephanie Vaquer get the win. Really fun match, and I really enjoyed how this match was done and formatted.

The Main Event Match: Andrade & Penta vs. American Made (Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) (with Chad Gable) in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | A very fun tag-team main event match with some of the best in-ring talents in WWE today. The match started chaotically as Andrade and Penta got things started with a dive to the outside. The in-ring stuff was great. Chad Gable tries to. insert himself and cost Penta, but El Hijo del Vikingo started fighting Chad Gable and brawled into the crowd. Andrade and Penta got the win, but didn’t stand tall as Seth Rollins came out and attacked both men with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Chaos still is ensuing at the hands of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed & Seth Rollins.

The June 6th | WWE Friday Night SmackDown | Match of the Night: Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley & Stephanie Vaquer vs. Giulia, Naomi & Roxanne Perez in a Six-Women Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ***.75

The June 6th | Edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown | Episode Grade: 7.25/10 (B-) | This was a very fun episode of SmackDown. The last three matches of the show and the invasion of Seth Rollins’ group were the highlights for me from this show. I like the destruction the Seth Rollins group did as they took out every baby face that’s involved in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Overall, a very solid go-home episode of SmackDown before Money in the Bank.
