The November 7th Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown — The Episode Rundown:
WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes had a tough battle, but in dirty fashion, he took out Drew McIntyre with a DDT on the Belt and hit a Cross Rhodes for the win. He’ll appear live, but we know an irate Drew McIntyre might be looking for “The American Nightmare” tonight.
Ilja Dragunov has his 3rd Edition of the WWE US Open Challenge, as we expect a new challenger to fight for a shot to become WWE United States Champion if they manage to defeat Ilja Dragunov tonight. Last week, we saw Tommaso Ciampa trying to get a chance, which was denied as he came late to accept the challenge, as Nathan Frazer came before him to earn his opportunity. Who’ll answer the call tonight?
Jade Cargill, in quick fashion, dismantled and destroyed Tiffany Stratton to become the new WWE Women’s Champion, and tonight she will appear live for the first time since beating Tiffany Stratton at WWE Saturday Night Main Event. Will a new challenger step up, or will an old foe appear?
Giulia will defend her title tonight against the longest-reigning WWE Women’s United States Champion, Chelsea Green. If she loses tonight, Giulia will surpass her as the newest longest-reigning WWE Women’s United States Champion. Will the new AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion add another belt to her collection, or will she fall by the hands of Giulia?
Rey Fenix has been dealing with the MFT for a couple of weeks now, and last week he made his presence known as he slapped Talla Tonga, then later in the night tried to make a save as the MFT were beating down the Motor City Machine Guns, but failed. So Talla Tonga, in his 2nd Career Singles Match in WWE, will take on the high-flying Rey Fenix.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Charlotte Flair will take on Nia Jax tonight in Singles Action, as last week her partner and 1/2 of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Alexa Bliss, conquered Nia Jax and took her down. Can Charlotte Flair do the same tonight?
