The September 19th Episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown — The Episode Rundown:

• Main Event Contract Signing. Cody Rhodes made his return last week to save Randy Orton and attack the man who took him out for a month, Drew McIntyre. Tonight on the go-home show, as tomorrow we head to Wrestlepalooza, Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre will be in the ring to put pen to paper and make the match official for tomorrow night.

• Sami Zayn continues his US Open Challenge, and now Carmelo Hayes is next up as he faces off against Sami Zayn tonight for a chance to become WWE United States Champion. Carmelo Hayes staked his claim last week on SmackDown, going face-to-face with Sami Zayn, calling next for the US Open Challenge. Can Carmelo Hayes win his first Main Roster Title, or will Sami Zayn go 3-0 in his WWE US Open Challenge?

• Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair just came off a victory at NXT Homecoming as they successfully defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against the Culling. Now they refocus back on The Secret Hervice, who they have been having issues with for the past month, and now can finally go to blows in this WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match.

• Fraxiom will be taking on the Vision’s own Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in some tag team action tonight. Fraxiom has been in limbo since SummerSlam and looks to take down two men who have been wrecking WWE for the past few months.
