My Official Thoughts on the March 30th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW at MSG:

My Official Thoughts: I’m really not enjoying WWE right now. This current stretch feels like the worst run the company has had since probably 2021. Week after week, it’s getting harder to feel any real excitement or anticipation. I keep wanting to be optimistic, I keep hoping that something big is going to change, but instead it just feels like we’re stuck in the same creative rut. The frustrating part is that, on paper, the roster is actually pretty good. There’s so much talent there that, in the right hands, could be doing incredible things. I wish I could say I’m hyped for the future of WWE because of all the people they have under contract. The potential is obvious. But when you look at the way the shows are being written and booked, it’s really hard to see what there is to be excited about. The creative feels directionless a lot of the time, stories drag on without payoff, characters don’t evolve, and big moments rarely feel earned. Instead of long-term storytelling or meaningful character arcs, it often comes across like they’re just throwing things at the wall and hoping something sticks. And when something does start to get over, it doesn’t always feel like they know how to follow through. So yeah, I’m at a point where I wish I could say I’m genuinely hyped for what’s next in WWE, but I’m just not. The roster has so much upside, but as long as the creative stays the way it is, it’s hard to feel anything but disappointment and frustration. Right now, it’s tough to look ahead and see anything that truly feels worth getting excited about.

The March 30th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW at MSG — My Official Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) (c) vs. The Vision (Austin Theory & Logan Paul) in a WWE World Tag Team Titles New York Street Fight | The Match Rating: DUD — Don't have much to say because wasting my breath isn't something I wanna do. The Usos lost the WWE World Tag Team Titles, as Austin Theory & Logan Paul became the new WWE World Tag Team Champions, making Austin Theory a 2x WWE Tag Team Champion & Logan Paul a 1st Tag Team Title reign. The Usos are past their prime. This match was so awful. WWE needs something because they are so terrible right now.

The 2nd Match: The Irresistible Forces (Lash Legend & Nia Jax) (c) vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria in a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: N/A — A very disappointing match, this was a match, I was excited very interested in seeing with it being a Title Match at MSG with Lash Legend & Nia Jax defending their titles against Bayley & Lyra Valkyria as the match was starting to get very enjoyable we saw Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair, and The Bella Twins come out to interfere, and you know the rest as this match ended in a No Contest. Later in the show, they announced the Fatal-Four Way Tag Team Title Match for WrestleMania, so at least we're getting that.

The 3rd Match: Penta (c) vs. Kofi Kingston (with Grayson Waller) in a WWE Intercontinental Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.50 — This was the only good match from this MSG Show, we got Penta defending his Intercontinental Title in an open challenge, which was accepted by Kofi Kingston via Social Media. Now, the kid in me was happy growing up, you know, Kofi Kingston always had the WWE Intercontinental Title or the WWE United States Title, so seeing him have this title match made me happy. The match was very fun. The highlight of this match was when Kofi Kingston caught Penta with a Mid-Air Trouble in Paradise. Now, if this were the 2010s, he would've won, but Penta kicked him out. Another pinpoint was Grayson Waller having more growing tension with Kofi Kingston. But Penta retained his WWE Intercontinental Title, then afterwards announced his WrestleMania as he'll defend his title in a Ladder Match as Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Je'Von Evans, Penta & Rusev all will be involved for this WWE Intercontinental Title Ladder Match at WrestleMania, which I'm very excited for.

The Main Event Match: Raquel Rodriguez vs. IYO SKY in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: **.50 — IYO SKY needs better booking. What has happened to her since RHIYO? Everything in WWE is just terrible; it's just not enjoyable. This match was below average for me, at least we got Asuka & IYO SKY teases again before they announce their WrestleMania Match. But WWE after WrestleMania needs a major shift; it's so stale and putrid.

The March 30th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW at MSG — My Official Match of the Night: Penta (c) vs. Kofi Kingston (with Grayson Waller) in a WWE Intercontinental Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.50 — This was the only good match from this MSG Show, featuring Penta defending his Intercontinental Title in an open challenge accepted by Kofi Kingston through social media. As a fan, I was happy to see Kofi, who has always held the WWE Intercontinental or United States Title, compete, which made me excited. The match was very entertaining. The highlight was when Kofi caught Penta with a Mid-Air Trouble in Paradise. If this were the 2010s, he might have won, but Penta kicked him out. Another key moment was the growing tension between Grayson Waller and Kofi Kingston. Penta ultimately retained his WWE Intercontinental Title and announced his WrestleMania defense. He will defend his title in a Ladder Match at WrestleMania, with Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Je’Von Evans, Penta, and Rusev all competing. I’m very excited about this match.

The March 30th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW at MSG — My Official Episode Grade: 2.75/10 (D-) — I'm not enjoying WWE. This stretch has been the worst since probably 2021 for WWE. Because I just wish I could say I'm hyped for the future of the WWE roster, yeah, but with the creative, they have what's there to be excited about?
