My Official Thoughts on the July 13th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:

My Official Thoughts: This episode of Monday Night RAW was solid. The good parts of this episode were Otis being used and seeing how over he is still. The Gauntlet Match and the WWE World Title Contract Signing. I thought that this was a lot better than last week’s episode. I do think this road to SummerSlam is a lot better than last year’s, and the WWE SummerSlam Match Card is looking to be one of the best WWE shows in recent times. The momentum feels like it’s finally back on RAW’s side, with storylines peaking at just the right time. If WWE can keep this energy and consistency going into SummerSlam, we might be looking at a genuinely memorable stretch of television.

My Official Match Ratings for the July 13th WWE Monday Night RAW Episode:

The Opening Match: IYO SKY vs. Roxanne Perez (with Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — A good match right here. I thought Roxanne Perez, who has been having a weird 2026 and hasn't done much notable besides losing left and right. But IYO SKY, who has been on a hot streak, with the numbers against her, pulled away with the win over Roxanne Perez. I did like how the match was going, but please, Triple H, end this Raquel Rodriguez experiment. I did think she was improving, but man, it's getting tiring how Triple H books her as some beast. Sol Ruca, after the match, came to the rescue for IYO SKY but got outnumbered and got dismantled. The Judgement Day stood tall as IYO SKY and the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca were both laid out, and afterwards we saw on Twitter that IYO SKY has a knot on her forehead thanks to the WWE Women's World Title hit, as Liv Morgan unloaded it onto her face.

The 2nd Match: Jimmy Uso vs. Royce Keys in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: N/A — Only lowlight from this episode of Monday Night RAW; why are we making Royce Keys a joke? What I mean is, why are we having him struggle against Jimmy Uso? SmackDown, we saw him lose to a spear, which isn't Jimmy Uso’s finisher whatsoever. Now we’re on RAW; the Match ends in a No Contest. You know Royce Keys’ last win on TV was in May on SmackDown against Tama Tonga in the Main Event. He’s been 0-5-1 since then. The booking is unreal. We saw Jacob Fatu arrive, then come to the ring to attack Royce Keys as Solo Sikoa comes to make the save, but gets beaten up after doing a fake-out of joining the Bloodline. LA Knight comes to the rescue with the chair, then a Six-Man Tag Team Match for WWE SummerSlam is announced as The Bloodline's Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso taking on LA Knight, Royce Keys & Solo Sikoa. I do hope that match is given time, not six minutes, and I hope it delivers. One positive from this is Solo Sikoa is starting to become an interesting character; he's slowly turning face, and I think it'll work for him, as he has a lot of personality, and in NXT as a Face he was very much over.

The Main Event Match: Chad Gable vs. Dominik Mysterio (with JD McDonagh) vs. Dragon Lee vs. Ethan Page vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Joe Hendry vs. Rusev in a WWE Intercontinental Title No. 1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match | The Match Rating: ****.50 — I really enjoyed this match. My MVP of this match was Je'Von Evans, who showed his aggression and poise, and if you watched him in DPW, a little bit of Jay Malachi came out in this match. Joe Hendry came out first with Dominik Mysterio as he got eliminated. I was shocked Joe Hendry was made quick work of that easily, but then again Dominik Mysterio is the World Champion of AAA, so Joe Hendry wasn't going to just eliminate him easily. After that, we saw Je'Von Evans come out, and he was moving and grooving well in this match, thanks to Danhausen's help. Je'Von Evans was able to capitalize, and he got the elimination. Now this is where the peak of the match occurred; here comes Dragon Lee. Dragon Lee and Je'Von Evans tore the house down. When I tell you the crowd just got electric because of these men, they were roaring. I loved the fact that Je'Von Evans was being aggressive, knowing that he needs to do whatever it takes to get the win; same goes for Dragon Lee, as both men were pulling out amazing moves from their arsenal but Je'Von Evans got the reverse pin, as he eliminated Dragon Lee as they were going to show a sign of tespect Rusev appeared as he blasted Je'Von Evans, and the back-and-forth started. This was a little fun; I liked how strong Je'Von Evans was in defeat, as he never gave up and passed out to Rusev's finisher. But what an amazing performance by Je'Von Evans. Chad Gable appeared right after, as he had unfinished business with Rusev, and Chad Gable got the elimination as he put away Rusev, but Rusev, being a sore loser, helped Ethan Page, who was the final entry, as he weakened and dismantled Chad Gable. But Chad Gable kept fighting, as he made Ethan Page submit to get the win, and now in his home state of Minnesota, he'll be challenging Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Title as Chad Gable looks to finish his redemption, and a story dating back to 2023 of his pursuit of the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

My Official Match of the Night for the July 13th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW: Chad Gable vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee vs. Ethan Page vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Joe Hendry vs. Rusev in a WWE Intercontinental Title No. 1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match | The Match Rating: ****.50 — I enjoyed this match, with Je’Von Evans as MVP, showing aggression and poise. Joe Hendry was quickly eliminated by Dominik Mysterio, the AAA World Champion, which was surprising. Je’Von Evans then entered, helped by Danhausen, and he capitalized with an elimination. The match peak was when Dragon Lee and Je’Von Evans fought fiercely, drawing a roaring crowd, with Evans pulling off an upset pin. Rusev interfered, blasting Evans, leading to a back-and-forth where Evans passed out to Rusev’s finisher. Chad Gable then eliminated Rusev, who, as a sore loser, helped Ethan Page weaken Gable. Gable fought back and made Page submit, earning a shot at Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Title in Minnesota, pursuing redemption and continuing his 2023 quest.

My July 13th Official Episode Grade for WWE Monday Night RAW: 7/10 (B-) — This episode of Monday Night RAW was solid. The good parts of this episode were Otis being used and seeing how over he is still. The Gauntlet Match and the WWE World Title Contract Signing. I thought that this was a lot better than last week’s episode. I do think this road to SummerSlam is a lot better than last year’s, and the WWE SummerSlam Match Card is looking to be one of the best WWE shows in recent times.
