My Official Review of the October 26th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:
My Official Review: This episode of RAW was enjoyable for me. Seeing Je'Von Evans getting an Undisputed WWE Title shot was awesome. We have Je'Von Evans and Trick Williams on the same week battling for the Undisputed WWE Championship, which helps build that future for the future Main Eventers. The matches on the show were hit or miss but Bayley and Lyra Valkyria burn the house down with there aweomse no DQ match. I thought this show had some highs and lows, but RAW has been the A Show this year, as SmackDown has been, I don’t even know what to describe it as, but a solid episode of Monday Night RAW.
My Official Match Ratings for the October 26th WWE Monday Night RAW Episode:
The Opening Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Je’Von Evans in an Undisputed WWE Title Match | My Match Rating: ***.50 — Je'Von Evans got his 1st World Title Match, the first of many in his WWE career, as he held his own on the microphone during his Promo with Sami Zayn and also had a very solid match against Sami Zayn in the opening of Monday Night RAW, fighting for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Sami Zayn is having one of the best runs of his career; his promo before this match was one of his best. I loved how, in this run, he's been giving the young future main event talents the rub with Je'Von Evans, and on Friday, Trick Williams, this was a fun match. We saw Penta tease a cash-in before Bron Breakker did what he does best and beat up on Penta, and when Sami Zayn retained, we saw Bron Breakker continue as he went face-to-face with Sami Zayn. Now, with that, Trick Williams has the chance to dethrone Sami Zayn this Friday. As for Je'Von Evans and Penta, they'll challenge for the WWE World Tag Team Titles against The Vision at WWE Crown Jewel, as we could see ne Tga Team Champions in the coming weeks.
The 2nd Match: Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification Match | My Match Rating: ****.50 — Match of the Night, one of the best Women’s Matches for WWE this year. They went out and delivered as Bayley and Lyra Valkyria tore the place up with an awesome ending to their feud with the No Disqualification stipulation, as we saw them doing whatever it took to end one another. We saw tables breaking, chairs colliding, and even nastier bumps; this was one of the best wrestling matches of this year for WWE. Having Bayley win via submission, I was fine with it. I hope this win can reintroduce her back into the WWE Women's World Title scene, and the same for Lyra Valkyria. This match was awesome. This match showed how amazing both women are, and I think it's time for them to both separately compete in the Main Event Scene once again.
The 3rd Match: IYO SKY vs. Raquel Rodriguez in a Singles Match | My Match Rating: *** — This match basically earned IYO SKY a future WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Match, and please, Triple H, let's have Chad Gable and IYO SKY be the Intercontinental Champions together at the same time. Raquel Rodriguez was mediocre, but IYO SKY carried this match; having her win is great. I'm tired of her being a side character; she's legit the Ace of WWE when given the ball. Very happy she won; hopefully she becomes the next WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion and has an awesome run with the belt.
The 4th Match: Big Cass & Ethan Page vs. Chad Gable & Dragon Lee in a Tag Team Match | My Match Rating: **.50 — Big Cass and Ethan Page alliance is fine, would like Ricky Saints and Rusev to also join this stable as well, it would work "Firmly," but this was an okay Tag Team Match, and I thought Chad Gable and Dragon Lee were solid Tag Team in this match, but this match was essential to build up this pairing of Big Cass and Ethan Page is soemthing that can work for both men especially if they add Ricky Saints and Rusev that would make for a very solid Mid-Card Heel Stable. But now, I would like the pending Chad Gable and Ethan Page match to happen at Survivor Series in Houston, as this build has been decent, and the payoff for this feud needs to happen at Survivor Series WarGames in Houston, Texas.
The Main Event Match: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Becky Lynch in a WWE Women’s World Title Match | My Match Rating: N/A — This was actually a solid match before The Judgement Day ended it via DQ, but what's funny is they basically did what they did in 2024 with the same match and challenger, with the same fake-out cash-in with Tiffany Stratton and having Dominik Mysterio pull Liv Morgan away so she can still be the WWE Women's World Champion. I really wanted Becky Lynch to win here because I thought this would help the Monday Night RAW Women's Division. I'm not a fan of Liv Morgan as the Champion, as she hasn't shown me that she can be the leader of the Women's Division. I do hope that sooner rather than later, Roxanne Perez is the one who beats her for the belt, but for now we have to be subjected to another long reign of Liv Morgan.
My Official Match of the Night for the October 26th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW: Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification Match | My Match Rating: ****.50 — Bayley and Lyra Valkyria delivered a Match of the Night in an outstanding No Disqualification bout. The tables, chair shots, and brutal bumps made this one of WWE’s best matches of the year. Bayley winning by submission worked for me, and I hope this victory helps both women return to the WWE Women’s World Title scene and main-event picture.
My Official Highlight of the Show for the October 26th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW: Bayley & Lyra Valkyria show why Women's Wrestling Rocks! — This match was awesome; both women should be in a title picture after this. Both showed why they know they can go out there and perform the best of anyone on the RAW Roster. This match was awesome, physical, and showed how vicious both women can get; a great match and a WWE Women's Match of the Year Candidate.
My October 26th Official Episode Grade for WWE Monday Night RAW: 7/10 (B-) — This episode of Monday Night RAW was enjoyable for me. Seeing Je'Von Evans get an Undisputed WWE Championship opportunity was awesome! Having both Je'Von Evans and Trick Williams competing for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the same week is exciting because it helps build the future of WWE's next generation of main eventers. The matches on the show were hit or miss, but Bayley and Lyra Valkyria absolutely burned the house down with their incredible No Disqualification match. That was one of the biggest highlights of the night for me. Overall, this episode of RAW had its highs and lows, but I still believe Monday Night RAW has been WWE's A-show this year. As for SmackDown, I'm honestly not even sure how to describe the show's current direction. RAW continues to deliver enough quality moments and exciting matchups to keep me invested. All in all, this was a solid episode of Monday Night RAW!
