My Official Thoughts on the May 18th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:
My Official Thoughts: An actual good in-ring episode of Monday Night RAW. My issue is WWE Creative never shows the Real Main Event Talents in the Main Event. Yes, Seth Rollins fought, but it was against Austin Theory, someone I’ve checked out on because he’s been repackaged and pushed multiple times; he just doesn't have it. I liked the first two matches of the show, and the Opening Segment of Monday Night RAW involving Jacob Fatu and the WWE World Champion, Roman Reigns. Saturday Night Main Event Card is complete, and it's kinda disappointing, no World Title Matches. But RAW was decent. Now we head towards an unwatchable SmackDown this Friday.
The May 18th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — My Official Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Finn Bálor vs. JD McDonagh in a Street Fight | The Match Rating: ***.75 — This was actually a very fun Street Fight, as this wasn't the Kendo Sticks and Chairs. They actually went around the arena. JD McDonagh was pulling out the Moonsault every chance he had. Now I like the fact Finn Bálor got the win. But I do hope this is the end of this feud because what else is there to offer? Finn Bálor beat Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh. There's nothing else to do. I know how creative this is; they love to drag things out, so we might have two more months of this. But I want this to end now.
The 2nd Match: Los Americanos (Bravo Americano, El Grande Americano & Rayo Americano) vs. Los Americanos Hermanos (Bruto Creedo & Julio Creedo) & The Original El Grande Americano in a Six-Man Tornado Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — A very fun Tornado Style Six-Man Tag Team Match. The Creed Brothers being used again has been fun; they've been fun to watch, but they need to keep this going. The El Grande Americanos were going at it, as we are building towards their Mask vs. Mask Match at AAA Los de Grandes Noches. I had the Los Americanos Hermanos to get the win, but the Los Americanos got the win as now the feud contiunes to reach new levels. I do like that they brought this feud to WWE, as it's the best thing on the AAA Promotion.
The 3rd Match: Brie Bella & Paige (c) vs. The Judgement Day (Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez) (with Liv Morgan) in a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: * — Please end this reign of Brie Bella & Paige because what's the point of building a good Women's Tag Division when the division was becoming strong? I thought this was the episode's low point. Brie Bella & Paige retain after a mishap with The Judgement Day, as their plan didn't go as planned. Now at Saturday Night's Main Event, Brie Bella & Paige will defend their titles against The Irresistible Forces. I really hope they win back the titles because this reign has been awful.
The Main Event Match: Seth Rollins vs. Austin Theory (with Logan Paul) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: *** — Seth Rollins fighting on RAW is this Triple H Creative? Because they never let the Main Stars wrestle. This was great to see until we saw who he was facing, Austin Theory. Seth Rollins has been a fun character since his return. He has been more serious-toned, and he needed this win against Austin Theory as he's now 1-2 in 2026. We saw Seth Rollins get the win as he smoothly hit the Pedigree on Austin Theory. Afterwards, Logan Paul attacked as The Vision struck again. We saw Angelo Dawkins come out to make the save as he did just that, but here comes Montez Ford, who confronted Angelo Dawkins, scolding him. But as they were distracted, Bron Breakker nailed a Spear to Montez Ford, then dismantled Seth Rollins as he put another whopping on Seth Rollins. The Match was okay, but I didn’t like the after-match activities, as Montez Ford was a serious character who didn't want to be alongside Seth Rollins, saying that every time someone is involved with Seth Rollins, it ends horribly. One of the good points from this episode, in my opinion.
The May 18th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — My Official Match of the Night: Finn Bálor vs. JD McDonagh in a Street Fight | The Match Rating: ***.75 — A very fun match, WWE Street Fights aren't usually Street Fight's but this felt like one, now that Finn Bálor is done with JD McDonagh, I would presume. I want him to do more, and have new, fresh challengers.
The May 18th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — My Official Episode Grade: 7/10 (B-) — An actual good episode of Monday Night RAW.
