My Thoughts on the November 17th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:
My Thoughts: This was a stellar episode of Monday Night RAW, which featured not only some exceptional wrestling matches but also several memorable and entertaining segments that kept the audience fully engaged from beginning to end. There were fun moments peppered throughout the night that showcased the talent and charisma of the roster. Most notably, the show concluded with a chaotic, Attitude Era-level ending that left fans buzzing and eager to see what happens next. For the second week in a row, RAW has managed to deliver an exciting and eventful episode, making many fans wish that SmackDown would reach a similar level of excitement and unpredictability. Looking ahead, next week’s RAW could be just as thrilling, as we might see Carmelo Hayes go head-to-head with Gunther in the highly anticipated Quarterfinal Match. This matchup will only happen if Carmelo Hayes can secure a victory over Bronson Reed in their “Last Time Is Now” Round Match earlier in the night. If Hayes can overcome this challenging hurdle, fans can expect an intense showdown between him and Gunther that is sure to be one of the highlights of the tournament.
The November 17th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — The Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: John Cena, Rey Mysterio & Sheamus vs. The Judgement Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh) in a Six-Man Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: ***.50 — I'm getting old because seeing the team of John Cena, Rey Mysterio, and Sheamus made me smile this was an awesome fun match in which we saw a lot of tributes, and fun sheingaians in John Cena final ever match on Monday Night RAW. The Judgement Day tried everything they could to take down these three legends, but it simply didn't work whatsoever, as the team of John Cena, Rey Mysterio, and Sheamus got the win, and the MSG Crowd came alive for this match, and it was just a lot of fun. You can tell everyone enjoyed this match.
The 2nd Match: Solo Sikoa (with Talla Tonga) vs. Dolph Ziggler in the Last Time Is Now Tournament First Round Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — Well welcone back the ZigMan as Dolph Ziggler made his Return to WWE and had his first Main Roster Match since 2023 and he had an Madison Square Garden Return with a loud ovation by the New York Crowd as he went on to face Solo Sikoa in the First Round of the Last Time Is Now Tournament. This was a very fun little match, and what’s funny Dolph Ziggler bumps better than a lot of the wrestlers that are currently in WWE at this moment in time. Solo Sikoa held through and got the win and advances, but this was a lot of fun, and I’m happy Dolph Ziggler got his moment in Madison Square Garden, fun stuff.
The 3rd Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Maxxine Dupri in a WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title Match | The Match Rating: *** — A very shocking moment as Maxxine Dupri won her first ever title as she defeated Becky Lynch with help from AJ Lee who returned to become the brand new WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion in one of the biggest upsets of this year. What's crazy is that Maxxine Dupri has beaten Becky Lynch three straight times in a row. Maxxine Dupri does deserve this if you see how much effort and work she puts in; she is clearly someone who takes this seriously, and it paid off as she's the champion. AJ Lee has cost Becky Lynch her title and has reignited the feud between the two. As WarGames is coming, we can see them joining some teams to even the odds.
The Main Event Match: Gunther vs. Je’Von Evans in the Last Time Is Now Tournament First Round Match | The Match Rating: ****.50 — Amazing, just simply amazing. Gunther got his old theme back, Je'Von Evans had a Madison Square Garden Main Event at the Age of 21-Years-Old, and we saw magic between these two Je'Von Evans put up a great fight against Gunther as he tried everything in his power to take down The Ring General, Gunther looked amazingt in this match he's simply one of the best in the business today and he just gets it. Je'Von Evans was pulling out every move he could, and he electrified the MSG Crowd as they chanted, “This is Awesome,” as they fought. Je'Von Evans hit a beauty of a Frog-Splash as it was near-fall, but Je'Von Evans came up short in the end. Gunther wins and awaits who wins the Bronson Reed vs. Carmelo Hayes Match as he faces the winner of that match in the Quarterfinals. The MSG Crowd gave a round of applause to Je'Von Evans after his amazing performance. The sky is the limit for the Young OG, an amazing way to show out on your RAW Debut and the MSG Main Event.
