My Official Thoughts on the May 4th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:

My Official Thoughts: Well, RAW since WrestleMania has been very solid. This was another good episode of Monday Night RAW. We had three fun matches and had some good development throughout the night with Seth Rollins, as he's all alone. That segment with The Street Profits was very well done. I really liked how Sol Ruca is already in a feud with Becky Lynch for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Title, as I think Sol Ruca will win the title from Becky Lynch, which is the right choice. But overall, a fun episode. I liked how this show went and flowed. But we're gonna get a solid NXT Episode, and then SmackDown, which is the worst wrestling show in the world.

The May 4th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — My Official Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: JD McDonagh (with Dominik Mysterio) vs. Finn Bálor in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: **.75 — Got a good amount of time, lasted a lot longer than the first bout on the RAW After Mania. But Finn Bálor is over again, and he's that guy he's over has his old attire, not those trashy long pants, and two NBA Sleeves. But JD McDonagh needed this win; it made sense because WWE loves to stretch feuds out when they have already reached their peak. It should've ended at WrestleMania with Finn Bálor doing something notable and fresh. But this was decent, JD McDonagh getting the win because of Roxanne Perez nailing a hammer in Finn Bálor's rib area, as they are kinda conflicted about Roxanne Perez, but JD McDonagh gets the biggest win of his singles career on the Main Roster as this feud contiunes to drag on, hoping it ends next week.

The 2nd Match: Ethan Page & Rusev vs. Je’Von Evans & Penta in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — This was pretty fun. I really enjoyed this Tag Team Match. The team of Je'Von Evans & Penta, I didn't know I needed that team. Ethan Page & Rusev just make sense as a Tag Team, both cocky heels with one goal, and they make for a good duo, but Ethan Page just makes anything work for himself. But the in-ring material we got was a lot of fun. Je'Von Evans & Ethan Page have great chemistry with each other; you can see that when they went at it in the ring. Penta & Rusev had some good back-and-forth. I genuinely believed that Je'Von Evans was going to pull that off, but I guess he's gonna do that with the pending Fatal-Four Way Match, which is going to happen for the WWE Intercontinental Title. But this was a good match. I liked how Ethan Page got the pin on Penta over the WWE Intercontinental Champion. This is so simple yet effective, a very good tag team match. I enjoyed this a lot.

The 3rd Match: Joe Hendry vs. Austin Theory (with Logan Paul) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: N/A — This match sucked, not because of Joe Hendry, I do think he’s doing a good job adjusting on the Main Roster, but man, Austin Theory stinks, he isn’t good at wrestling, he’s not a good promo, or wrestler. Whatsoever, but Logan Paul is having this weird obsession now with Joe Hendry because of Joe Hendry singing how he sucks last week, which put him over the edge. The match ended in DQ as Logan Paul attacked Joe Hendry, and a brawl ensued. But we saw more chaos erupt as Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins started fighting as The Street Profits came out to make some noise, and get at the WWE World Tag Team Champions. The Street Profits feel so important now, which I’m very happy about. This is probably the strongest they have been booked since 2022. Seems like a very serious team again, but I would like a Six-Man Tag Team of The Vision vs. The Profits & Rollins, let’s see what happens.

The 4th Match: Oba Femi vs. Otis (with Akira Tozawa & Maxxine Dupri) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: N/A — This was such a great squash match, the crowd felt like of a Goldberg Match back in 1998, they just love Oba Femi this is just an easy choice of who should be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns when it’s time to but Otis he’s someone I wished was used more good big-man in the ring, and he’s super popular with the crowd but WWE Creative has been putrid so can’t be shocked when they can’t book someone like Otis properly. But Oba Femi and Otis had a fun two-minute style match. Otis had some offense, but in the end, Oba Femi lifted Otis as the crowd was amazed, and slammed him down for the win as Oba Femi Open Challenge. He is now 1-0. I would love it if Ivar, Je’Von Evans & Sheamus could answer this Open Challenge, especially Sheamus, that’s a match I’m sinking my teeth into to see. Imagine the hard-hitting and amazing spots we would see between them.

The Main Event Match: Los Americanos Hermanos (Bruto Creedo & Julio Creedo) & The Original El Grande Americano vs. Los Americanos (Bravo Americano, El Grande Americano & Rayo Americano) in a Six-Man Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: *** — This was hilarious, so The Creed Brothers are now Bruto Creedo and Julio Creedo with The Original El Grande Americano; that's funny. But I'm glad this feud got the Main Event for this RAW. Also, great on the Creed Brothers finally being back. Once Chad Gable reverts, I hope they are a serious stable, as American Made has a lot of potential as a unit. They formed in 2024, but haven't had the success I envisioned this group having. Los Americanos had a good showing. They are dealing with this new Los Americanos Hermanos as they are looking to show they are the real Los Americanos. This whole feud is one of the few enjoyable parts in WWE because of how big this Mask vs. Mask Match is at AAA's next major event. But in the end, Los Americanos Hermanos got the win, as they got Bravo Americano pinned to get the win in the Main Event of Monday Night RAW.

The May 4th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW  My Official Match of the Night: Ethan Page & Rusev vs. Je’Von Evans & Penta in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — This was fun. I enjoyed the Tag Team Match with Je’Von Evans & Penta. I didn’t know I needed that team. Ethan Page & Rusev make a good duo as cocky heels, with Ethan Page making things work for himself. The in-ring action was enjoyable. Evans & Page had great chemistry, and Penta & Rusev also exchanged good moves. I believed Evans might win, but he’ll likely do so in the upcoming Fatal-Four Way Match for the WWE Intercontinental Title. Ethan Page pinning Penta, the champion, was simple but effective. Overall, a very good tag match, I enjoyed.

The May 4th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — My Official Episode Grade: 6.75/10 (C+) — This was a decent episode. Unlike SmackDown, Monday Night RAW is actually watchable and has some solid parts from the show. I enjoyed some of the matches, and the last parts of some of the builds of WWE Backlash were decent.
