My Thoughts on the October 13th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:
My Thoughts: What an amazing episode of Monday Morning RAW. All of the matches on the show were very enjoyable for me. I enjoyed the turn of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed as they broke away from Seth Rollins and aligned with Paul Heyman fully. CM Punk is next in line for a WWE World Title shot, and more drama on the women's side of things. This was a fresh breath of air. I'm so glad it's the Bronsons with Heyman, and they can break away from what was holding them back in Seth Rollins.
The October 13th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — The Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Penta in a WWE Intercontinental Title | The Match Rating: ***.25 — "Dirty Dom, " since SummerSlam, he has been very entertaining. He is in multiple feuds with the likes of Dragon Lee, Penta, and Rusev. He has been one of the young talents who understands the business and is really killing his role as the WWE Intercontinental Champion. Penta, on the other hadn't been feuding with Dominik Mysterio on-and-off this year and had been wanting the WWE Intercontinental Title, but he had failed on every chance because Dominik Mysterio would either cheat or have backup, and again in this match, he used a hammer to crash it against Penta's knee to get the win and retain his title. Dominik Mysterio now has Risev again next week for his title. But this was a very open and happy it gave me a lot of time.
The 2nd Match: Rhea Ripley (with IYO SKY) vs. Kairi Sane (with Asuka) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***.75 — Rhea Ripley is one of the best wrestlers in the world, and as of late, she has been wrestling a lot, which has been making me happier because you need those superstars to fight on the weekly shows. She was wrestling again in her home country of Australia and against the Kabuki Warriors' own Kairi Sane. This match was so much fun. Rhea Ripley was in her element, same like Kairi Sane, and they tore it down. IYO SKY was on the outside and had a run-in with Asuka as they battled on the outside. Rhea Ripley finally got the upper hand, hitting a Riptide to get the win. However, afterwards, the Kabuki Warriors still stood tall as they attacked IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley, and Kaiir Sane, who had been emotionally manipulated, was fighting back tears as Asuka commended her to take out both women alongside her.
The 3rd Match: Bronson Reed vs. Jimmy Uso in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: **.25 — Big Jim's 2nd Single Match on Monday Night RAW this year. He held his own against the Aussie Own Bronson Reed. But Bronson Reed was too much for Jimmy Uso, and Bronson Reed has been on a crazy tear, easily his best stretch in his WWE Career. I think Bronson Reed has been elevated this year, and sooner than later, he should have a shot at the World Title eventually. But after the match, Jey Uso made the save for his brother and basically told him off, which has been a trend as of late. As Jey Uso has been like a "Little Roman Reigns" as of late.
The 4th Match: Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. The Judgement Day (Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez) in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: *** —This was a very fun match. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, as a team, have been very entertaining. This new character, Bayley, with a split personality, has been very enjoyable. I wonder if they'll target the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles? Now for The Judgement Day, own Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, they need something new. They are always in a feud with a babyface team and lose now. I want them to venture out of the tag team spotlight and target some singles gold, as we saw later on with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez confronting the WWE Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria get the win, and now I hope they go on a tear as a Tag Team.
The Main Event Match: CM Punk vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight in a WWE World Heavyweight Title Number One Contender Triple Threat Match | The Match Rating: **** — A very enjoyable Main Event by all three men. I didn't even realize it went by that quickly, which is hilarious. But LA Knight had a chance at winning, but Jey Uso pulled him out of the ring and tried to get his moment, but before then, CM Punk hit a G.T.S. to become the new Number One Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. After the match, one of the most shocking moments of 2025 happened. Brton Brteakker speared Seth Rollins, singling his end with Seth Rollins, as also Bronson Reed in his home country of Australia, hits a Tsunami on Seth Rollins, singling his end with Seth Rollins as well. Paul Breakker as Bron Heyman to choose who, and he chose Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. That WWE Creative reshuffling has been working because we have had three great shows in a row, which is something that hasn't been happening in 2025 for WWE. But now the babyface Seth Rollins is back with an interesting dynamic. He lost everyone with his greed for power, he lost his true friends, and his pride. How does he bounce back? WarGames is so interesting now because of all of this. I wonder what happens next week on RAW, and his story with Cody Rhodes is much more insane, noting that he broke his friendship with Cody Rhodes and is now all alone with the Vision, throwing him in the trash. Amazing Post-Match events, and WWE is starting to get some positive heat as they are slowly coming back around.
The October 13th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — The Match of the Night: CM Punk vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight in a WWE World Heavyweight Title Number One Contender Triple Threat Match | The Match Rating: **** — A very enjoyable Main Event by all three men. I didn’t even realize how quickly it went by. LA Knight nearly won, but Jey Uso pulled him from the ring to steal the moment—only for CM Punk to hit a GTS and become the new Number One Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Afterwards, Bron Breakker shocked everyone by spearing Seth Rollins, signifying their feud, and Bronson Reed hit a Tsunami on Rollins in his home country. Paul Heyman chose both Breakker and Reed in a big creative move. WWE Creative has been on a roll lately with three strong shows in a row, which hadn’t happened yet in 2025. Now, Seth Rollins is back as a babyface, isolated after losing his friends and pride. WarGames just got more interesting, especially with the new tension between Rollins and Cody Rhodes. Exciting post-match events—WWE is regaining positive momentum.
The October 13th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — The Episode Grade: 8.50/10 (A-) — What an incredible episode of Monday Morning RAW! I thoroughly enjoyed every match on the show. The turn by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, who left Seth Rollins to fully align with Paul Heyman, was particularly exciting. CM Punk is now next in line for a WWE World Title shot, and there’s even more drama unfolding in the women’s division. This episode felt like a breath of fresh air. I’m especially glad to see the Bronsons teaming up with Heyman and finally breaking free from what was holding them back with Seth Rollins.
