My Thoughts on the October 27th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:

My Thoughts: This episode of Monday Night RAW was thoroughly enjoyable. The matches offered great entertainment, and I appreciated the development of Bron Breakker’s storyline, particularly how Paul Heyman is advising him to exercise patience for his moment. Nevertheless, the main event truly stole the show, as the four women involved delivered an exceptional match. The opening segment was mediocre; I find it difficult to take Jey Uso seriously with the proliferation of YEET Chants and similar antics. However, I anticipate that CM Punk will secure victory at the upcoming WWE Saturday Night Main Event. The opening match was highly entertaining, though I foresaw its outcome and enjoyed it accordingly. This match surpassed their September encounter, which felt hurried and brief. The match extended until Los Americanos intervened to attack both competitors, shortly followed by Penta and Rusev pursuing Los Americanos. It has now been confirmed that Saturday Night Main Event will feature a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. This proved to be a very solid contest, with Nikki Bella performing commendably against Roxanne Perez. The back-and-forth action was intense, and Nikki Bella appeared to be on par with Roxanne Perez. Roxanne Perez secured the victory with her Pop-Rocks finisher. Subsequently, they attacked Nikki Bella, only to be thwarted by WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. This was a highly enjoyable match. I particularly appreciate the current portrayal of Bron Breakker as a formidable and ruthless competitor. Seth Rollins previously faced him, but he did not present an overwhelming threat; it seemed as if there was a reluctance for him to overshadow Seth Rollins. However, his recent match against LA Knight showcased his true prowess and reminded us of Bron Breakker’s capabilities. I enjoyed LA Knight’s performance, especially the entertaining spots, including his top-rope suplex. Bron Breakker’s vicious spear secured him the victory. It appears that WWE is building Bron Breakker’s momentum by accumulating wins, paving the way for him to challenge the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion when the time is right. The encounter between these two was remarkable, and I anticipated it after hearing the announcement, as it promised to be a compelling contest. JD McDonagh continues to be one of WWE’s most underrated talents, consistently delivering impressive performances. His match against Sheamus was particularly enjoyable, with Sheamus providing a hard-hitting and stiff contest. Despite JD McDonagh’s efforts, assistance from Finn Balor outside the ring enabled him to secure his first singles victory on RAW since February 2024. I am also intrigued by the prospect of a Sheamus vs. Finn Balor match, which appears to be forthcoming. The match among the four women involved was outstanding, exemplifying the strength of the WWE Women’s Tag Division in recent months. It evoked memories of the RAW main event featuring Bianca Belair and Naomi versus The Judgment Day, which was highly energetic. The chemistry displayed by both teams was palpable, facilitating a seamless flow of action. Initially, I expected a title change given the match’s placement in the main event, but Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair retained their titles in a grueling contest. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria form a formidable team, and their subsequent attack by the Kabuki Warriors indicates that the Women’s Tag Division is gaining momentum, which is quite exciting. Overall, this was a highly entertaining show from start to finish.

The October 27th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — The Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Penta vs. Rusev in a WWE Intercontinental Title Number One Contendership Match | The Match Rating: N/A — This was a very fun opener of a match, but I knew where it was leading to, and I was enjoying it before it happened. But this match was a lot better than their September Match, which felt very rushed and short. But this match went the distance until the Los Americanos came out and attacked both men, but minutes after, we saw Penta and Rusev chase after Los Americanos. We know now that Saturday Night Main Event will be a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Title.

The 2nd Match: Roxanne Perez (with Raquel Rodriguez) vs. Nikki Bella in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — This was actually a very solid match, and we saw Nikki Bella have a decent performance against Roxanne Perez. The back-and-forth action was very solid. Nikki Bella didn't look out of touch in this match whatsoever. She looked like she couldn't take on Roxanne Perez. Roxanne Perez hit Pop-Rocks to get the win, then afterwards they attacked Nikki Bella but were saved by the WWE Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.

The 3rd Match: Bron Breakker (with Bronson Reed & Paul Heyman) vs. LA Knight in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***.50 — This was a very fun match. This is the version of Bron Breakker I want: a straight menace and killer. When Seth Rollins had him, he wasn't that killed. It was like they didn't want him to overshadow Seth Rollins, but this match against LA Knight made people remind us how amazing Bron Breakker is, and I loved how LA Knight was in this match. There were some fun spots., I always liked it when LA Knight did that Supplex from the top rope. Bron Breakker caught LA Knight with a vicious spear and got the win. I see what tthey'refoing they're going to make Bron Breakker stack some wins, and build himself up to face whoever the WWE World Heavyweight Champion is when he's ready to take that title away from them.

The 4th Match: JD McDonagh (with Finn Balor) vs. Sheamus in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 — What a match between these two. When I heard this announcement on the show, I knew this would be a banger. JD McDonagh is one of the most underrated workers in WWE. He has always come into that ring and put on a great performance, and he did so with Sheamus. This was super fun. Sheamus was giving JD McDonagh a fight with hard-hitting strikes and some stiff shots. JD McDonagh was doing everything he could, but with help from Finn Balor on the outside, he got the win, his first win on RAW in Singles Action since beating R-Truth in February of 2024. But I'm interested in a Sheamus vs. Finn Balor Match, and we seem to be getting that soon.

The Main Event Match: Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria in a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: ****.50 — This was a stellar match between all four women involved. The WWE Women's Tag Division has been on fire in recent months, and this month was no exception. This reminded me of the RAW Main Event where Bianca Belair and Naomi took on The Judgment Day and tore the house down. The chemistry between the two teams in this match was very evident, as it was flowing smoothly. I thought this being positioned in the Main Event, we were going to see a Title Change, but that wasn't the case as we saw Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flairetained in a grueling match. But Bayley and Lyra Valkyria as a team rock, and afterwards we saw the Kabuki Warriors come out and attack the Women's Tag Division is starting to heat up, and I'm quite excited about it.

The October 27th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — The Episode Grade: 7.75/10 (B) — This was an all-around fun episode of Monday Night RAW. The matches were enjoyable, and I liked the progression of Bron Breakker's storyline, especially how Paul Heyman is encouraging him to be patient for his moment. However, the main event truly stole the show, as the four women involved delivered an outstanding match.
