Thoughts on the October 14th, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW Show:
Thoughts: An okay episode. It was taped so I knew the results beforehand but the pacing for this two hour edition of Monday Night RAW was a lot better I must say still not use to the whole two hour thing. But we had a solid WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match, the War Raiders finally make there return reverting back to there NXT Gimmick with there NXT Tag Team Name which was much needed if you want these guys to be taken seriously. We saw a couple vignettes for wrestlers like for example Dragon Lee which I'm assuming he'll be a getting a much needed push to establish himself on the main roster. Bronson Reed had a great sit - down talk with RAW GM Adam Pearce. Bron Breakker continues to wreck havoc, and Jimmy Uso made a stop by to RAW to chat with his brother to find a common ground to result there beef but Jey Uso wasn't having any of it. R - Truth continues to feud with The Miz as Karrion Kross is still in The Miz ear which is slowly making The Miz turn 100% back to a heel. In the Main Event a lot of chaos as Nia Jax also emerged and attack Rhea Ripley. Overall solid episode of RAW but I really hope the three hours come back soon because I thought Triple H had the three hour format perfected.
The October 14th, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c) vs. Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships - Match Rating: ***.50 - This was the best match on RAW Tonight. These ladies killed it in the ring. Bianca Belair needs to start using the spear more often because her spear looked like a thing of beauty. We saw Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend in the crowd and got involved blasting Iyo Sky in the head. But over solid Women's Tag Team Match. I'm happy that the division is getting a lot more important storyline, and focus that's what they needed for a long time this might be the first time in forever that those titles have felt very important, and have some prestige to it.
2nd Match: War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) vs. Alpha Academy (Akira Tozawa & Otis) First Round of the WWE World Tag Team Number One Contender Tournament - Match Rating: N/A - The War Raiders have officially returned it was great seeing how they went back to their NXT presentation because now they can be a top tier tag team in WWE again. It was a quick squash match but the War Raiders advances to the next round in the WWE World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender Tournament.
3rd Match: Bron Breakker vs. Kofi Kingston - Match Rating: *** - This was an okay match. Bron Breakker winning was quite obvious because he needed that win to build some momentum before his rematch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship next week.
4th Match: R - Truth vs. The Miz - Match Rating: N/A - There was no reason for this match to happen but R - Truth got the roll up victory with The Final Testament on the outside aiding The Miz which allowed after the match to attack his former tag team partner.
The Main Event Match: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez vs. Rhea Ripley & Tiffany Stratton - Match Rating: N/A - This main event wasn't that good but the chaos that happened was really fun.
The October 14th, WWE Monday Night RAW Match of the Night: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c) vs. Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships - Match Ratng: ***.50
October 14h, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW Show Grade: 7/10 (B-) - An okay episode of Monday Night RAW much better paced than last week.
