Thoughts on the April 14th Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW on Netflix Episode:
Thoughts: Gunther opened the show and cut a very good promo one of the best in his career as he elaborated what he will do at WrestleMania against Jey Uso. The opening match for this show was the best match of the show as Bayley got the win over Liv Morgan and has added much-needed momentum for her and Lyra Valkyria for their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match at WrestleMania. I enjoyed Rey Mysterio taking on Julius Creed this was such a fun match. I’m super glad we got a Julius Creed singles match and it delivered. After the match, El Grande Americano blindsided Rey Mysterio and started to brawl. It was very good stuff as this build for the match has been very fun. AJ Styles took on the underrated Karrion Kross in a very solid match. This was Karrion Kross’s first match in a long time and he had a solid performance. What I liked was the detail of him wearing similar tights made by the same people who make AJ Styles’ gear. The after-match stuff was solid as Logan Paul with help from Karrion Kross laid out AJ Styles and stood tall before their match at WrestleMania. Finn Balor and Penta had the Main Event Match and it was fun until the match ended in a no-contest. The last bit of the show involving CM Punk, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns was okay very lackluster build from them they didn’t highlight The Shield, the history between them more deeper it has just been a Paul Heyman drama.

The Opening Match: Bayley (with Lyra Valkyria) vs. Liv Morgan (with Raquel Rodriguez) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ****.25 | This was the best match of the night from RAW. Liv Morgan is my MVP for the Women’s side of things in WWE. She & Lyra Valkyria have been amazing this year they’ve been my MVPs for the WWE Women’s side. This match was very entertaining. The back-and-forth action was a joy. I like the outside action with Lyra Valkyria going at Raquel Rodriguez. Bayley got the victory and the upper hand leading into the WrestleMania Match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Match. Also, I’m giving my flowers to Bayley she has been a true team player this year and has been such a pro.
2nd Match: Rey Mysterio (with Cruz Del Toro, Dragon Lee & Joaquin Wilde) vs. Julius Creed (with Brutus Creed, Chad Gable & Ivy Nile) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: **** | Julius Creed finally had a singles match on RAW and this was a fun one. Rey Mysterio and Julius Creed had very good chemistry in this match. American Made and LWO were ejected ringside but it didn’t stop one man in El Grande Americano who came out to aid Julius Creed but it didn’t work out as Rey Mysterio got the upper hand and delivered the 619 for the win. Afterward, they jumped Rey Mysterio and tried to lay him out. I enjoyed this match and the build for Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano at WrestleMania. Great stuff by everyone.
3rd Match: AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross (with Scarlett) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.75 | This was Karrion Kross’s first RAW Match of 2025 and he had a very good outing against AJ Styles. I love the attention to detail as Karrion Kross was wearing long tights made by the person who did AJ Styles’s tights. Karrion Kross has been one of the most underrated talents in wrestling he works with what he gets and maximizes it to its fullest potenial which is very rare today. The match was fun there were some clunky moments but AJ Styles got the win against Karrion Kross. After the match, Logan Paul came out and jumped AJ Styles with the help of Karrion Kross. Solid match with chaos ensuing afterwards.
The Main Event Match: Finn Balor vs. Penta in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | This was a very solid Main Event match it’s like Finn Balor got his joy back because his matches in 2025 have been very much solid and Penta he has been marvelous since arriving to WWE back in January. I’m enjoying this Fatal-Four Way build for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. They did have a solid match before it ended in a no-contest. But seeing Bron Breakker spearing two men then more chaos ensued they did a good job in making this build very fun and entertaining now the match at WrestleMania is very much unpredictable as I don’t know who’ll come out as champion but I’m glad they made it to the point no one knows who’ll be the one coming out as Champion at WrestleMania.

The April 14th | Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW on Netflix | Episode Grade: 8/10 (B+) | A very good in-ring episode of Monday Night RAW before WrestleMania. All the matches on the show were very entertaining. The only downside I had from this show was Jey Uso and the confusing Triple Threat Match that’s slated for WrestleMania Night One Main Event. Jey Uso went back to not being serious and that’s annoying as we want to see him be angry about the things Gunther did to him and his family. The Triple Threat Feud has been a soap opera drama built very lackluster.
