Thoughts on the February 24th Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW on Netflix Episode:

Thoughts: This was easily the best RAW of this year so far; it had everything from progressions in storylines to great matches and segments. I enjoyed the majority of the matches on display tonight, especially the WWE Women's Intercontinental and WWE Women's Tag Team Championship matches. Those two were delivered. One thing I enjoy about RAW is the importance placed on everything they showcase; all the divisions feel significant, and next week's RAW card is looking stacked again. Very good stuff from this episode of RAW.

The February 24th | Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW on Netflix | Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Ludwig Kaiser vs. Pete Dunne vs. Penta in a Triple Threat Match | Match Rating: ***.75 | I enjoyed this triple-threat match showcase. Penta looked great, as did Ludwig Kaiser and Pete Dunne; all three men put together a very entertaining match. I liked the back-and-forth action, with every man dishing it out in the squared circle. Ludwig Kaiser stole the victory from Penta when he capitalized at the right moment. I feel that Ludwig Kaiser versus Pete Dunne is going to happen next week because both men seem to have a dislike for each other, and I would love to see them match up next week on RAW. I want to see Penta chase some championship gold soon.

2nd Match: The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. L.W.O. (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: N/A | I'm glad they allowed Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro to showcase themselves, as they needed this opportunity to shine, and they did indeed shine in this quick match. After the match, The New Day attacked both men and attempted to help Dragon Lee, who wasn’t able to prevail as he was outnumbered and laid out. I hope they disband the L.W.O. since every member, except Rey Mysterio, can thrive on their own. We've seen it with Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde in NXT, and we saw how Dragon Lee was booked in late 2022 on the main roster as a strong upper mid-card talent. I'm guessing this feud will lead to some kind of stipulation tag team match.

3rd Match: Gunther vs. Akira Tozawa (with Maxxine Dupri & Otis) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | This was one of the best squash matches in recent WWE memory. Before the match, Gunther scolded Akira Tozawa, trying to remind him to be who he once was before becoming a comedian in WWE and wasting his years and talent. The match lasted almost three minutes but was packed with action. It started hot, with Akira Tozawa getting in some kicks before being leveled by Gunther. Akira Tozawa kept trying to fight back with chops and reversals, but it wasn’t enough as Gunther took him down. After the match, Otis attempted to make the save, but Gunther started to choke him out. Before Otis could go fully unconscious, Jey Uso came out to make the rescue, forcing Gunther to back off.

4th Match: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Dakota Kai in a Singles Match for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship | Match Rating: **** | This was a fun title defense for Lyra Valkyria. Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria have excellent chemistry in the ring. The fans even loved this match, chanting "This is Awesome" towards the end. It’s unfortunate that this match only lasted seven minutes; if given more time, it could've been a show-stealer. But overall, it was a solid match. Now we know who Lyra Valkyria will be feuding with next, as Ivy Nile of American Made attacked her and has her eyes on the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship.

5th Match: Bron Breakker vs. Dominik Mysterio (with Carlito & Finn Balor) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: N/A | For the first time in a long while, Bron Breakker had a match on Monday Night RAW, but it didn’t go according to his plan as Judgment Day ambushed the match in an attempt to take out Bron Breakker. However, Bron Breakker destroyed both Carlito and Dominik Mysterio. When Finn Balor stepped into the ring, he began to back off and grin. Bron Breakker’s next challenger, Finn Balor, is great; in the two matches Finn Balor has had this year, he has looked solid, so I’m excited for this upcoming feud with Bron Breakker.

The Main Event Match: Bianca Belair & Naomi (c) vs. The Judgement Day (Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez) in a Tag Team Match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships | Match Rating: ****.75 | What a special match! The near-falls, the insane bumps, the impressive in-ring action; this is so far the WWE Match of the Year as every woman in this match truly stepped up. I thought Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan were the MVPs of this match, as they were bumping and selling like mad. There were so many moments when I thought the match would be over, but no—either it was a near-fall kick out or someone broke up the pin. This is a prime example of why RAW is the best weekly wrestling show because this entire episode was insane. Now we have new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, marking their third reign together as tag champs. What an incredible match and a fantastic way to end the show. Great effort by all four women involved; this is how you make the Women's Tag Division matter with matches like this, and the crowd loved it!

The February 24th | Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW on Netflix | Show Grade: 8.75/10 (A) | What an amazing episode of Monday Night RAW.
