My Thoughts on the July 7th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:
My Thoughts: This episode of RAW mainly highlights the Heyman Members. They did a great job making Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed look strong and not just some henchmen, but people with individual goals for themselves. Roxanne Perez and Kairi Sane was decent; it had some sloppy moments, but it was an okay match. Ludwig Kaiser got his 1st Singles Win since June 2024 of June which is crazy. RAW Tag Team is dead because it's lifeless, and they need to use A-Town Down Under, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde, and Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate to restore that division because it's the same repeating teams, which is lazy creative booking.
The July 7th | Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez (with Raquel Rodriguez) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: *** | A decent opening match. Roxanne Perez with Raquel Rodriguez, as she was ringside for her new stablemate. What I like right now is seeing Kairi Sane get some wins; she's been booked strongly since her return. Kairi Sane had some cool moments, similar to Roxanne Perez. Kairi Sane got the win, but afterwards she got attacked and was saved by her former tag partner, Asuka. Now, at Evolution, we found the team for RAW as the Kabuki Warriors will be fighting for the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles at Evolution in a Fatal-Four Way Tag Team Title Match.
2nd Match: Bron Breakker vs. Sami Zayn in a Singles Match | Match Rating: *** | One of the best ways to do a squash match. Karrion Kross came out and destroyed Sami Zayn before his match and striking a metal pipe across the chest and fractured the ribs of Sami Zayn. Bron Breakker coming out did so much damage; he speared Sami Zayn multiple times, stating what he said earlier, he wanted to end Sami Zayn. Sami Zayn got demolished as Bron Breakker won, as Sami Zayn is grueling in a lot of pain. Amazing squash match and loved how Bron Breakker was presented on RAW as a true badass.
3rd Match: Jey Uso vs. Bronson Reed in a Singles Match | Match Rating: N/A | This match was simply Bronson Reed demolishing Jey Uso, and that’s what he did. He threw a chair at Jey Uso and hit a couple of Tsunamis. They did a great job tonight with the direction of the Paul Heyman men, making them look like straight killers.
4th Match: El Grande Americano vs. Dragon Lee in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | This was such a good match. I’m sorry, this was entertaining. I thought Ludwig Kaiser, I mean El Grande Americano, did a great job adjusting to the lucha libré style. Dragon Lee continues to show why he should be on TV every week, because he can be such a huge contributor to RAW. I’m tired of the inconsistent booking; he needs to be on TV in big programs weekly. When he wrestles, he wakes the crowd up. El Grande Americano got the win and is officially back, what a miracle! But please put Dragon Lee more on TV.
The Main Event Match: Seth Rollins (with Paul Heyman) vs. Penta in a Singles Match | Match Rating: **** | For the first time, these two locked up, and it was a very fun Main Event Match. I thought Penta would gel well with Seth Rollins. The in-ring action was good. I'm glad Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed didn't interrupt the match. I like how they still protected Penta with Seth Rollins purposely using his head to low-blow Penta and get the win. But Seth Rollins wasn't standing tall as LA Knight gave him a BFT to end the show to a roar.
The July 7th | WWE Monday Night RAW — The Match of the Night: Seth Rollins (with Paul Heyman) vs. Penta in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ****
The July 7th | WWE Monday Night RAW — Episode Grade: 6.50/10 (C+) | This episode was very heavily in redirecting the Heyman guys. I loved how Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed were presented. My issues with RAW are where is Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Pete Dunne, and Tyler Bate? The RAW Tag Team Division is heavily lackluster, and they could add some juice by presenting them on TV. I hate how Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate haven’t been on TV. They were one of the best talents in WWE once upon a time, but now they will never be on television. Other than that, an okay edition of RAW.
