My Thoughts on the June 30th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:

My Thoughts: This was a hell of a RAW. I enjoy the in-ring quality from this episode, as I say. The Tag Titles swapped. Rusev and Sheamus tore the house down as I expect this feud is just getting started, and please have it concluded at a PLE. Lyra Valkyria and Bayley had a solid match until the double pin. Afterward, they brawl, but I expect the announcement for the triple-threat WWE Women's Intercontinental Title Match for Evolution next week. But the Main Event All-Star Tag was a delight, please, if they use the 2023 All-Star formula, that will make the show much better. But a great episode of RAW.

The June 30th | Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The Judgement Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) in a Tag Team Title Match for the WWE World Tag Team Championships | Match Rating: ***.75 | The Judgment played the baby face role in this match, and it was terrific. I didn't think much going into this match, I felt that this match was going to be mediocre, and we saw The New Day retain off of some antics, but The Judgement Day are once again Tag Team Champions. I liked the performance by Finn Balor; he looked great, he turned back the clock in this match, and JD McDonagh was flying around places and doing his thing. Now, JD McDonagh is a 2x Tag Champion, as for Finn Balor is a 4x Tag Team Champion. Hoping now RAW can focus on the Tag Side and make it relevant.

2nd Match: Rusev vs. Sheamus in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ****.50 ****.50 | One of the best TV Matches on RAW this year. This was such a great match. Sheamus has always been a reliable hand and is one of the best TV Wrestlers in the world today. Rusev looked terrific in this match. He showed people he can be on the upper end of the card on RAW because, wow, this was physical, intense, and two men who just wanted to tear each other apart, this was so sick. I think a best-of-seven series between these men. Rusev got the win after pulling Sheamus on a turnbuckle metal piece to the neck and hitting a kick to the face to win. Amazing match, and this established Rusev as a monster on RAW.

3rd Match: Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria in a Number One Contender Match for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship | Match Rating: ***.50 ***.25 | This was a very fun match. I knew a screwy finish was going to happen or some form of DQ, but they just did the double pin so they can announce in the future for that pending Triple Threat Match at WWE Evolution. Lyra Valkyria and Bayley, after the match, still went at it and were tearing each other apart, and it was crazy stuff. I am loving this mid-card feud because it has elevated and established the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship a lot with this amazing feud.

The Main Event Match: Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed (with Paul Heyman) vs. Penta & Sami Zayn in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **** **** | Good stuff from all four men in this match. I have to say the 2023 all-star team formula being back is great because it makes for good TV, because you get the best talent wrestling. Penta being elevated to the Main Event scene is great, Sami Zayn wrestling injured because Karrion Kross attacked him earlier in the show, so he wasn't 100%. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed as a tag team have been great; they work well together and complement each other very well. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed won and afterwards got Penta down. Jey Uso came and made the save, but this was great. Please continue these All-Star Main Event Tag Team Matches because this is great stuff.

The June 30th | WWE Monday Night RAW | Episode Grade: 8.75/10 (A-) | Amazing stuff from tonight’s show, all four matches were quality matches. I thought Rusev vs. Shemaus was amazing, that is the stuff I want on my weekly wrestling television. But other than that just an all-around great show of Monday Night RAW.
